Anyone any info on the soutter from hearts to us? Think would be a good replacement for Goldson watching the game on Sunday his short passes where dreadful praised him after the Sparta game but looking like putting in a performance on that stage as more scouts be watching, think his ego is got to big for the Scottish game hopefully wrong because when his heads init he’s been great for us!

I’ve not got any information Bluebell (and I don’t pretend to), I’m sure John might have some info. In my opinion though, Soutter would be a replacement for Katic or perhaps Simpson. We need better than Soutter to replace Goldson. Again, just my opinion.

John souttar even on a free will not command that high a wage his injury’s over the years will see to that, and that’s what I would be more concerned about, we can’t afford another laimo on the treatment table all the time! Too often an injury prone player starts to come good when his contract is up only for the problems to come back once he gets his new deal. Jake cooper would be a great signing and an upgrade on goldson imo but I think he would command a fair wage!

January will be a big month for us, with the champions league money at stake next season, and celtic likely to spend in next window, board will need to spend to guarantee that and Make sure we win the league or we move a few on and spend the money to freshen up. John souttar is a good player, my only concern would be his injury problems, not saying for a second he would be the answer over the likes of Doehki etc, but despite championship clubs being able to offer better wages I doubt too many would offer him the likes of 25/ 30k a week given his past injury problems. However if a few teams are in for the boy it could trigger a highest wage war.

Maybe not on goldsons level YET when I say that his short passing and defensive displays including last night have been nothing short of a shambles the clearance last night when the ball was played along the 6yard box was outstanding but when a player goes to take him on he’s not interested in a tackle and his short passing is on par with the big dud Duffy atm, Ano that might be a lot of criticism for a rangers player, I like Goldson think he’s a great defender when his heads init and he was the catalyst for the clean sheets last season but head seems to be else where!

Looking at Saturday and reading the pundits we are wrote off before a ball is kicked, hopefully we go out and put the performances we have in Europe on a get the 3 points bring them back down to earth wasn’t gios biggest fan the first few months but 9/ 10 he gets the tactics right.
On Morelos situation I have been his biggest fan over the years but feel the time is right to get him moved on get a few mil in the bank if we can don’t feel he likening yhe fact we don’t rely on jist him anymore and when fit he’s on the bench.
Good few weeks ahead this is were we have wanted to be for 10 years!

Totally agree Paul. If we let them attack, and try to soak it up, I don't see it working. Lessons would have been learned from that 3-0 game, so I don't see us setting up like that again. Remember, our midfield, in that 1st half, was very weak with Sands thrown in just after arriving. Our midfield is much stronger now, and with lunny in there, we are no pushovers. My biggest concern is the defence. I fear the worst with this zonal marking at corners and set pieces. And If Borna has another howler, then that's another concern.
This game is, and should be, our benchmark in the league. Beating Ross County, the 2nd worst team in the league, is not. I know you can only beat what's in front of you, but in all honesty, we should always beat dross like this at home. Saturday is a big test. Handle it, and come out with nothing worse than a draw, then we've done our job. If we get beat, and we go 5 points behind, then we make it so much harder for ourselves. If they don't win, and we can get a result, then the seeds if doubt creep in, and all that bravado goes to sh@t.

Hello fellow bears, up and down season much better team than 1 trophy. was always a project tho even tho seltic went backwards we did a little aswell this season but the players are there with value attached the was always the biss model we where looking for challenging in Europe and domestically so I for one am happy with the way things are looking going forward long as we don’t start the old selling at the spl value and get our moneys worth back for players like aribo bassey ect.

Bluebell I'm the same. Disappointed to lose the league but happy with progress in Europe and also player values. Scottish Cup made it an acceptable season. Ironically and I've always believed this, the better Celtic are the better we are. Obviously it works in reverse. Next European campaign will be intersting.

In the league we started well as opposed to Tic, started stuttering then lost manager, and although we were well ahead, we were not on form and Tic were improving. Gio started well then we had a poor run of dropped points to give them the advantage. Finished the campaign really strong. Onwards and Upwards.

Guys every signing is a gamble, he’s only been here under a month obv had a niggle I understand the frustrations but we have big games coming uo cup finals for the rest of the season imo and if he can get up to fitness for the run in and offer himself I would be happy with that esp with the details I have read regarding the deal ie what we pay ect.

I have been a critic of goldsons performances on occasions this season with some lacklustre displays but if he wants to go down south who can blame him it’s going to be his last good contact if he gets an extra 10-20 grand a week how many people on here would turn that down? The draw for us is being rangers fans from day one and obv fighting for a title and European football ect, likely go to a bottom half in epl but will want to set himself up with a lidy bank balance before career draws out money talks guys.

Kamara offers very little is some statement, what about Kante for Chelsea Rodri for Man City yes he’s not at there level but he’s there do to the same job protect the back 4 which he dose to a better level than anyone we could afford imo, feel it’s the fowerds for the last few month who have been very leggy and not offering enough apart from Aribo and buff in glimpses, if we get though the next few games undefeated we could wrap the leauge up before the split here’s hoping🤞.

We signed 6-7 players a striker who’s hit the ground running, Lawrence on a free who looks the part thillman On loan with option to buy spent money on Davies BUT even if we didn’t sign anyone I for one would be sitting in my seat each game supporting my club!

Well said Ed, I said it before the game wouldn’t happnin here it’s a one off game and gives the club money everyone’s entitled to there opinion but some people are taken it too far now.
