OK guys, no point in slagging off Tav who did cost us the game by the way.

The blame lies squarely on Stevie, to me he is not learning the management role fast enough to get us back to the good old days like with my idol Walter.

Before Davie Murrey f'd the club tho.

1.) 04 Oct 2019 10:57:24
But tav did a tav twice and cost us the game🤷‍♂️👍.

2.) 04 Oct 2019 12:58:30
Aye Coldo he did, but the buck stops wi the manager like wi every other club as I'm sure your'e aware.

Why do you think a load of them get the boot (sacked) .

3.) 04 Oct 2019 13:50:37
Sometimes you can't account for stupidity billy, you can't blame gerrard for tav's stupidity. that's what lost the game👍.

4.) 04 Oct 2019 14:42:37
What people forget is that Walter Smith spent over £50m on players in his 6 years in charge, money that recent Rangers managers could only dream about, and as I recall, when he left Rangers we were in a poor state and on the way down. The team value was no where near £50m when he got out.

5.) 04 Oct 2019 17:28:35
Blue Billy gerrard had the team set up well last night, it was so comfortable for us. You csnt legislate for 2 mistakes you wouldn't expect sn under 12 player to make.

28 Jan 2019 10:38:37
I've said on here before that I don't profess to have tactical qualifications.

However a few posters seem to me to have this gift more than Stevie had. What more proof of this do we need after Sundays great result with the formations suggested by the said posters.

Even Rangers officials say Stevie need to stick with a settled starting 11 and formation.

25 Jan 2019 15:41:43
Now that the fallout from Wednesdays horror result has died down slightly, can I ask fellow Bears what they feel about seeking a billionaire backer that would guarantee to overturn the mankies dominance of the SPFL.

I still believe that due to our financial restraints, we need to give Stevie at least two season or even to the end of his contract if necessary to get us back to the top.

Am I right in thinking we turned down an American billionaire a few years ago because he wanted to rename Ibrox.

As far as I'm concerned I couldn't care less what the ground is called. The manks call it the asbestos dome etc., so what difference would it make to us.

It will always be the home of the great GLASGOW RANGERS regardless of the name.

1.) 25 Jan 2019 16:24:12
Wishful thinking. No return on an investment getting involved in Scotland.

2.) 25 Jan 2019 16:35:40
no no no. I don't want our club to become one of those clubs, I would rather build a self sustaining football club over time instead of having a sugar daddy. I would not rename our stadium either.

3.) 25 Jan 2019 16:38:51
We won’t get someone to put millions into the club, it’s not going to happen in Scottish football unless it’s a rangers fan who have millions spare they don’t want back.

We will match them and we will overtake them not today but with hard work and doing it the Rangers way it will come.

4.) 25 Jan 2019 17:36:54
Yeah the American billionaire Bill Miller was favourite to buy the club in 2012 until we fans unfurled banners at ibrox saying the "yank can **** off", great move by us! And then we ended up with Charles Green. Wonder where we would be if Miller had bought us.

5.) 25 Jan 2019 19:36:00
Do we really need a billionaire owner to beat a team like Kilmarnock? c'mon let’s be honest Wednesday just wasn’t good enough end of.

6.) 25 Jan 2019 19:50:24
horror result .

we lost 2-1 away to killie who are 2nd on merit

not what i wld call a horror result it was hardly 5-0 or a defeat to alloa

folk on here slating gerrard and saying defoe and davis signings are a mistake after 1game need to get a grip

the result hurts bit credit where it’s due to killie and wee bit of perspective please

just way i see it lads.

7.) 25 Jan 2019 21:34:37
We don't need billionaires to fund our club. Buy young talent like morelos. Players looking for pathway to england. Buy cheap bring them on for 2 or 3 years then sell on at big profit. Need to get rid of the 7 figure loan fees and buy a young player for that money. The worral loan makes no sense to me could have bought a tested spl defender for that money. Nothing special just good honest centre half. Money we have spent on defoe and davis loans could have got the 2 boys from hjk. I know i will get slaughtered for saying that but they looked like hungry players with decent talent and big potential.

8.) 25 Jan 2019 21:41:58
I think Dermot Desmond is considering a bid?

9.) 25 Jan 2019 21:59:21
Let's be honest It doesn't matter about a billionaire We should need millions to be beating teams like Kilmarnock!
No disrespect to Kilmarnock they've come on from Stevie Clarke's appointment, who I feel is doing better than Stevie Gerrard!
The problem was tactics were shocking!

We cannot be using the excuse of plastic pitches as every team is in the same boat in having to play Kilmarnock

Where we went wrong was we never set up to play two wingers and really go for the jugular and therefore stretch Kilmarnock, who were comfortable as a result Jordan Jones and co was always going to cause issues with that back two McAuley has no pace and Worrall reckons he is Pique at times and switches off!

Having Tav whipping crosses over and being often upfront than back caused more issues for our back two furthermore as there were no cover
No excuses these guys punished us because tactics were piss poor from Mr Gerrard on this occasion!

It seems our scouting network is lacking from our neighbours across the Rd Why go for experienced old friends in Defoe, not to forget the money He is earning, when we can got for young and hungry talent!

We are still a defender required and another striker
Why was Lafferty not playing up tops with Morelos To bring Defoe on for the last 20-25mins would've made more sense! That want happen though because we are paying good wages for him to be sitting on the bench!

10.) 25 Jan 2019 23:53:03
I'm sure in the past we all thought we had a sugga daddy in Murray but look where that got us and before we all jump on the post those that were there during the Murray era loved the fact we spunked money out on everyone and their granny! I'm Scottish football we don't have the luxury that they have in England where the can chuck millions at players knowing the tv revenue in one season covers it!

As pa previous poster says we have to find raw players looking for a springboard to the premiership or bigger leagues where we can cash in on in a couple of seasons time!

And I ain't even going to bite at the dermot post!

11.) 26 Jan 2019 10:17:36
Kyle. We have been trying for 6 years now.
Do we have to wait till the mankies get 12 in a row if stevie can't stop them.

12.) 26 Jan 2019 10:19:26
A billionaire backer, to win the spfl? are you mad. We should be able to win the league with what we have - just need a manager who knows what he's doing.

13.) 26 Jan 2019 10:37:54
Can't believe how bipolar our supporters are. Last week we were all buzzing and one bad performance to very good Kilmarnock side it's all Stevie G isn't good enough we need a new owner think everybody needs to calm down.

14.) 26 Jan 2019 19:35:55
We need to calm down but you have to admit the diamond formation didn't work - too narrow and no width.
Sebrofg - what would be your team v Livingston?
Surely SG must revert to a 4-3-3 formation.

15.) 26 Jan 2019 22:24:20
Copland i think we need to go to a 343. Greegs katic goldson [mcaulay] worral tav jack davis berisic candeis morelos kent.

16.) 26 Jan 2019 23:34:07
Millar was never serious and was just courting publicity. fact. no sensible person would invest in the Scottish league when the odds down south are grossly more attractive . especially in second tier.

17.) 27 Jan 2019 12:29:55
Mols, Celtic got a billionaire backer and still have him.

18.) 27 Jan 2019 12:39:48
No we don't want to rely on a billionaire. We want a club that sustains itself, a scouting system that identifies players of value other than wasting 2 or 3 mil on duds and a club that is able to scout, develop and bring through youth. 👍.

19.) 29 Jan 2019 00:05:50
Ha bluebilly are celtic happy with the millions and millions their backer is putting into buying players, not. that with all the dosh they've made when we were down says to me he’s no interest in spending . only bought disco lights so as he could hire groundbout for concerts and discos ha.

02 Jan 2018 14:12:25
Watched the highlights over and over.

What alarmed me was Morelos still up to his old stupidity and escaped being sent off at least twice, even with the playacting of the mhanks players.

Yes he has been brilliant for us but is still a major liability, we need him replaced wi a prolific mature striker asp. Get loadsa cash for him quick to fund his replacement.

1.) 02 Jan 2019 14:46:52
Bluegill idiot rangers supporters posting what morelos was up to he won't be getting away with anything 3 match suspension coming up from that bitch from SFA.

2.) 02 Jan 2019 15:15:20
Very true mate. What was a great team performance the other day could’ve very easily been jeapordised by his actions! I like the boy but he doesn’t seem capable of taking a telling! He brings a lot to the team in his current form but he’s no use if he’s suspended!

3.) 02 Jan 2019 16:33:36
@bluebilly - so you're hoping a club will come in with a mega bid for a player you don't rate and is a liability? How are you going to pull that off?
Morelos is just doing what we would have all liked to have done - boot Broony.

4.) 02 Jan 2019 23:08:22
Brown up the jacksie? Priceless.

5.) 04 Jan 2019 01:30:56
Where did I say I don't rate him uk, he has been brilliant for us I said that's why he could probably fetch big money.

Yes we would all like to boot broon up the ass but we won't get sent off wiil we.

Lets all hope if he can be taught to control his silly kick outs he could boost his value immensely.

28 Dec 2018 11:46:42
Hi all you Rangers supporters and those of you pretending to be.

Unlike most of you I don't profess to be better than Stevie on team selection and tactical game plans etc. I am just a supporter for many years and unqualified to give tactical advice.

I would say to you all is, give Stevie at least two seasons then we can see if his goal to be a success comes to fruition.

Don't get carried away this season thinking we can win the league the way things are at the moment. We are 3 points behind them, probably and unfortunately it could be 6 after Saturday. With them having a game in hand that will more than likely make it 9 points behind at the transfer window.

All this is my opinion, a genuine Rangers season ticket holder supporter and dedicated Stevie believer .

In S. G. we trust, onwards and upwards EVENTUALLY.

1.) 28 Dec 2018 12:17:37
Great post BB, All us supporters need to get behind the team and give SG the time needed to get the team he wants, playing the way he wants. He is a rookie manager and is walking up a very steep learning curve but I believe he will succeed.

2.) 28 Dec 2018 14:50:34
Will back him for now but things need to improve big time the results and performances have been dreadful.

3.) 28 Dec 2018 21:19:20
B.B. definitely my friend . I think injuries have really took there toll with the manis better equipt to handle that sort of thing . still say get rossiter in there ASAP.

Not seen any highlights of the game on tv, is that because of the only one (offside) goal? .

That's all I remember of the game and us repeatedly hitting their goalie with the ba.

1.) 10 Dec 2019 14:21:22
ref admits mistake against sheep, now ref mistake against tims.

stevie g etc will be seeing the pattern

here.

brown is going down

wdw.

2.) 10 Dec 2019 15:21:21
no highlights because its BT tv, it was the refs fault it was the linesman fault it was because it was on a sundays fault, no it was because you couldn't put the ball in the net it was the rangers fault.

3.) 11 Dec 2019 07:40:20
At the end of the day, that would be correct.
The team was up for it
The tactics were good
The opposition were well below their usual pace and style but scored a very suspiciously offside goal.
Hit their keeper
Keeper had one of those could not go wrong days
AND, penalty saved (in my opinion it was on target so a save not a miss)
We move on and concentrate on next game.

4.) 11 Dec 2019 09:29:23
Brief highlights are available on You Tube.

5.) 11 Dec 2019 16:13:25
Highlights were on the channel you don't watch. no conspiracies. just your personal choice of watching that channel. lots of coverage on U tube though.

08 Dec 2019 13:17:12
We can't criticise teams who play their damnest against us when they are down and throw accusatins of them lying down to other teams.

Mind you I am convinced the definate colusion by the Dons and manks to deny us second place is a different matter.

We have only ourselves to blame for losing a two goal lead against Dons.
Too often this happens due to horrible defence and I believe complacency thinking "relax two nil we've won" instead of fighting till the final whistle.

Dons were down two nil and came out determined and fighting.
We have done the same a couple of times an even won then.

Lets hope we don't fall into the same false sense of security against the manks today . They play to the final whistle and so often we've seen the results they get at the final kick of the ball.

In any case up and at em today lads.

1.) 08 Dec 2019 14:18:16
The sheep never lay a finger on any celtic player but kick ours off the park season after season and we get no protection from the refs.

06 Dec 2019 09:28:04
To all our Rangers supporters.

Is this our season to be jolly.
Even though we need some lolly.
Ten mill is what we need my friends.
To get us till the season ends.
It's not a lot in footballs clout.
And we will get that there's no doubt.

Our season tickets gone and spent.
We've just enough to pay the rent.
It takes a lot to run our club.
But do not ask another sub.
We will get there in the end.
Cause someone has some cash to spend.

It's been a struggle for many years.
Now it's time to end our fears.
Let Stevie lead us he's our master.
Don't let it be to our disaster.
He's done alright for us so far.
Let's hope he keeps us up to par.

I'll bring my poem to an end.
Just keep supporting us my friend.
Finally I want to say.
Make it feel like Christmas every day.

HAVE A MERRY XMAS AND BRILLIANT NEW YEAR EVERYONE.

1.) 06 Dec 2019 12:37:56
Someone been on the mulled wine early bluebilly? Fair effort mate! 🤣🤣🤣.

2.) 06 Dec 2019 14:59:50
Absolutely brilliant bluebilly, well done mate, I hope someone gets a copy of this to Stevie Gerrard to show to the boys.

05 Dec 2019 11:05:05
Honest question lads, allthough Stevie "looks" like he is doing a great job, IS HE REALLY? .

Yes got in europa league and in second place in league again this season.

It now looks to me we will get nothing AGAIN this season cause Steve is still not a seasoned professional manager in my opinion and does not seem to be learning from his mistakes.

1.) 05 Dec 2019 11:17:04
Totally agree mate he might make mistakes again on Sunday as he knows every one in England will be watching out for the result so he'll be under emence pressure to get it rite.

2.) 05 Dec 2019 11:56:48
I think the run of games between now and early January and especially the two against celtic will define our season and also the managers future at our club. Difficult times ahead.

3.) 05 Dec 2019 12:02:03
I question our transfer policy where is our cover at full backs Tav has been poor for a while but there is no one to challenge him Borna has been great we missed his runs last night but when he is out it’s back to Flanagan he simply is not a left back and no pace then the CBs again no pace and Helender has had one good game away to Porto he doesn’t like the aggressive side of the game we have two good CGs in Katic and Edmiston who don’t get a sniff and Edmiston has pace Katic is for me our best CB but surely in transfer window we should have cover at FB I know we have the USA guy a contract but it’s obvious he isn’t good enough as if he can’t get a game ahead of Tav in the form he is in he never will with us playing one up top we depend on our FBs getting up the park to deliver but that leaves CBs open with no pace as for Alfie yes poor game I think the injury to his wrist is stopping his normal aggressive game but we didn’t creat a lot of chances last night and we should have had a pen but if it’s the same defence in CF I fear for us Christie will find space in our box but let’s wait and see.

4.) 05 Dec 2019 12:02:08
Pedro was a seasoned manager let’s have him back, if we don’t win a single game in Dec then post this nonsense

5.) 05 Dec 2019 12:05:30
What mistakes did SG make last night? Was the goals conceded not more individual player errors/ mistakes? Why does drawing away to the sheep mean we will win f all this season?
Who is the 'seasoned professional' you think would do better?

6.) 05 Dec 2019 12:46:37
lets just sack SG will we billy? unbelievable.

7.) 05 Dec 2019 13:03:46
We are all upset by losing 2 points last night to a very poor Aberdeen Team, but, the difference in Rangers compared to before Gerrard took over is fairly obvious, we have improved immensely. I honestly think we will beat them on Sunday by simple being in their face from the off and going forward as opposed to sideways and backwards, we have to also be shooting more from outside the box instead of trying to walk it in, in other words, someone with real balls needs to take control on Sunday, Ryan Jack and Ryan Kent are the two who can do this.

8.) 05 Dec 2019 13:19:18
Briangers, I don't want Steve sacked unless we don't win trophy's this season, then see our supposedly dedicated supporters calling for his head.

I don't know which PROFFESIONAL tried and tested manager our club could afford to replace Stevie G at the moment.

Also, should he help us win league and cup, how long before he jumps ship to get the Liverpool job, who will YOU all want as his replacement then eh? .
( The way some on here talk it would be Loony Lenny ) .

Will give you my choice later if the big money investor is a reality not just a rumour.

Does that help the deluded on here? .

9.) 05 Dec 2019 14:26:15
Even if we win nothing this season I don’t want gerrard sacked, even a blind man can see the improvement he makes.

10.) 05 Dec 2019 14:50:05
Good grief! I can't believe we're even having this discussion. As somebody said, let's bring back Pedro and really go to hell in a hand cart! People would have been doing cartwheels after a draw with the sheep. How fickle are our fans? And has anybody ever read a positive post belonging to dsgers? Me neither! It's actually beginning to get to me now. Roll on the cup final.

11.) 05 Dec 2019 14:57:16
you don't want him sacked unless we don't win trophies? meaning plural? and you believe we will win nothing again? so are you saying you want him sacked or not? if like the rest of us you are prepared to sit watch and wait to see what happens then i suggest you do just that! you don't think he is a seasoned manager yet you link him with jumping ship to liverpool if we win something? sorry billy pure and utter nonsense mate!

12.) 05 Dec 2019 15:22:42
Calling folk deluded for having a different opinion to your own, bluebilly? Very mature response 👏.

13.) 05 Dec 2019 15:52:05
People on here are unreal at times.

14.) 05 Dec 2019 16:20:46
Mr grumpy some people on here may be deluded and maybe I'm one of them .

My opinions are just that and for you to be calling ME immature for my opinions WELL.

15.) 05 Dec 2019 16:17:12
Briangers, what I'm trying to say is,
Stevie is here to prove he is a class manager and and like it or not his ultimate goal is to get the Liverpool managers job.

To do that he has to be a huge success at our club which means getting us trophys . No trophys again this season and our dedicated fans will be wanting him sacked.

Does that explain my opinions? .

16.) 05 Dec 2019 16:47:48
about as clear as dishwater billy tbh i assume your a dedicated fan than and i'm not because i do not want steven gerratr a sacked even if we don't get trophies and you do?

17.) 05 Dec 2019 17:43:44
Of course your entitled to your opinion bluebilly but calling out folk who happen to have a different opinion? 🤔.

02 Sep 2019 10:49:33
Ah well, merry monday everyone.

I had great faith in Stevie when he arrived then slowly but surely he has proven to me (and Isuspect thousands of others) that he is never going to be a successful manager at any top club.

He has consistently been making stupid decisions and using our club as an experiment for his unqualified ideas on tactical expertise.

I now predict, should we lose another 2 or 3 games we should have won in our quest to topple celts and continue to not break down teams that park the bus then the rage of our dedicated fans will boil over and Stevie will be shown the door this season.

Disagree if you will and say it's only the start of the season, however ask yourself this what trophies has he won since his arrival or our chances of any again this season.

1.) 02 Sep 2019 10:58:25
As sore as yesterday was can't deny he's led us as the only team to qualify twice in a row from full qualifications rounds in europa league
I agree some questionable choices at times but I'd be stunned if he went mid season
Think he'll get full season.

2.) 02 Sep 2019 11:13:56
Am well aware he hasn't won a trophy yet, has he made mistakes? yes. We have signed a lot of new players. We have started this season well, yesterday was our first bad performance/ result. The game yesterday didn't decide anything (other than 3Points) . I think we'll win a trophy this season. I actual think we'll win the league this season.

3.) 02 Sep 2019 11:33:26
Guy's, when a few of our mids cannot win or compete for the 50/ 50 balls, we play with no width, and a number of the team seemed to excel in passing the ball straight out of play. Then add the fact that big Goldson tried to be a Worrol for the day, it is no surprise we had a real bad day. let's just hope it is not repeated.

4.) 02 Sep 2019 11:55:17
I admire your optimism mrgrumpy. We'll win nothing on that showing yesterday. Yes, we went in level on points with them but before that, we struggled to break down St Mirren, last gasp winner v Kilmarnock when before that they missed a sitter to go 2-1 up, and Hibs look rubbish this season.

5.) 02 Sep 2019 12:09:27
Hysteria utter rubbish
leave the man to get on with his job or ho away.

6.) 02 Sep 2019 12:33:22
Hahahahahaha you sir need to lay off the whiskey, It was an off day. rubbish happens. Stevie G was did everything for this club, improved the current lot and brought in some good players. At the end of the day the manager had a plan it didn't work but goldson, jack, kamara and katic where bigger villains. The players where off the pace. End of.

7.) 02 Sep 2019 12:34:57
I think your talking nonsense.

8.) 02 Sep 2019 12:38:38
A poster yesterday (forget who so apologies) made a very valid point that even when Fredi came on and JJ too, did we even look any better? The formation was a strange one, but we were guff for the whole 90 minutes. Too many players we are still hoping play beyond their limits. JJ, ojo etc will have good games but wil have poor ones too. Also really hope Aribo doesn't turn out another coulibaly. Fans loved him start of last year only for him to turn out pretty average.

9.) 02 Sep 2019 12:54:36
Let’s all stop and think this one through our transfer window this summer has been poor look at the starting line up yesterday only one new signing in it Aribo but we were minus Kent and Candais who would have played I sure, so for me we were weaker yesterday and I look round the signings and don’t see anyone who excites me we have a bigger squad but no better players.

10.) 02 Sep 2019 12:57:39
Think you need to take a step back. One game lost of importance. Qualified 2 seasons running into Europe the hardest way possible. It will come. But to right him off like that is poor. Really poor.

11.) 02 Sep 2019 13:01:12
Rangers offer 7 million for Ryan Kent SSN, talks ongoing.

12.) 02 Sep 2019 13:11:27
Billy blue I for one will disagree. Can you do me a fav and look at our squad prior to SG and his team arriving under pedro.
Yes yesterday's result hurt but that was our first defeat this season from 16 games. So I'm not going to over react to one defeat in 16.

We truly have a squad capable of winning the league.
In SG we trust.

7 mill bid for Kent submitted. A player that can provided that wee bit of something special.

13.) 02 Sep 2019 13:31:17
Blue Billy, think your assertion bout SG OTT. He has one bad tactical game, certainly gainst Tims and it hurts, but you have us showing him the door at earliest opportunity. And your assertion bout his use of foreign gainst Scottish players, cmon, Scotland ain't exactly overflowing with raw talent. I think the players, part from Grezda, he has built, is spot on. Finances withstanding, another forward and we'll be bang on.

14.) 02 Sep 2019 15:18:24
How fickle we are as Rangers fans? A couple of days ago we were all looking confidently forward to seeing them off after a decent start to the season. Now it's all doom and gloom. Yes, I agree Gerrard got it wrong with his line up and tactics, we gifted first goal, Morelos should have started and we never tested them wide. I am sure, though, well I am hopeful, that he will see where we went wrong, see that Morelos must start as often as possible, see we can't play without width and see where teams are vulnerable and line up accordingly.

But he needs to realise it NOW! And we, as fans, need to keep up the amazing support we give, not just when things are going well, but when we hit a bump in the road, which I know we will. That what makes us Glasgow Rangers!

It's already been said on here the offers will probably still be there on the summer transfer window . Lose him now then forget winning anything again this season footballing suicide .

Read his very long AGM speech big blue .

It seems he's staying on in retail side to fight Ashley.

I also feel the speculation on a Chineese investor is looking more like it could be true.

I have to agree with Gersforlife, the media especially the Scottish sun seem to be anti Rangers with their constantly bumming up the manks page after page when the get a win regardless of how poor an opposition they face.

Then when one of their high profile supporters has a sheet, it's all about how they are celts supporters. You know the ones I'm reffering to.

Also just take a look at the little if any write up we get when we stun a top team.

Stop 9, I admire your dedication and belief .

However sorry, but going by our recent past performances against decent teams I cannot share your optimism .

We need to win against a determined motherwell and manks get beat by hibs before we could go top.
If they win and we lose that's us 5 points below them.

When was the last time this season be battered a top of league team by scoring loads of goals? .

Having said all that, I want you to be right with you prediction.

dd1, read my reply to Graham properly .

It says they did not need to win so put out a team that could have sat in the pub.

wE WOULD HAVE DONE THE SAME AND SENT OUT THE UNDER 21 SQUAD if we were in that position by the way.

I SAID IF THEY "HAD" TO WIN THE GAME AND LOST LENNY WOULD BLAME EVERYONE BUT HIMSELF.

Were through Graham and that's the main thing.

Regarding celts, they were through anyway and they could have all went down the pub and came back after the game.

Blatant old pals act, if they had no been through they would have put out a real team and if they had then got beat lenny would have run up the tunnel then started spoutin it was the ref to blame.

No sayin it was illegal tho.

Spot on Jim and he also has to get the team to fight to the death and not sit back till the final whistle. We need to get the killer instinct against top teams.

Every top team seems to have sussed us out, let us run arround and tire ourselfs out then throw eveything at us .

Been happening for a few games now and needs to be sorted or all will be in vain again this season.
