Botheim has agreed a four year deal subject to a medical.

Broxi Bear

1.) 17 Jun 2022 09:40:37
Broxi Bear, seen these rumourd yesterday is this a definite goer.

2.) 17 Jun 2022 09:41:38
Fulham, Leeds and Southampton are interested in this lad and he's chosen to play for Rangers? I hope your right though, smashing player.

3.) 17 Jun 2022 10:00:26
according to who?

4.) 17 Jun 2022 10:23:03
According to a fake romano account yesterday. ?.

5.) 17 Jun 2022 11:04:00
Fulham, Leeds, Southampton or Rangers. That should be a no brainer. He will have little chance of Trophies or European games with any of Fulham, Southampton or Leeds! I would have thought that other than Leeds we can also give a better deal financially and if he proves his worth he has the potential to move to a top English Team, not an also ran!

6.) 17 Jun 2022 11:18:40
Sorry guys got sent a picture of a statement from Romano which has since been debunked. On holiday so a little slow to catch up with the rumours.

7.) 17 Jun 2022 11:23:25
Both Southampton and Fullham have higher wages than Leeds financially we couldn't compare to any of those 3. The only thing we can offer is Europe and 9/ 10 if a player leaves rangers he will end up at a mid to lower half prem side. We can't exactly be down if someone chooses Prem side over us.

8.) 17 Jun 2022 11:26:43
Every PL club could out bid us financially I’m hoping the fact that he’s a free agent means we could go that bit further in terms of wages/ signing on fee.

9.) 17 Jun 2022 11:44:12
BB a it is a no brainer playing against Liverpool Man U many city etc… and also higher wages too. It will be hard for us to get this guy as money comes before trophies and European football these days anyway. Also in a much higher league also.

10.) 17 Jun 2022 13:28:42
BB, money talks mate, and we can't compete with PL teams, not even close!

11.) 17 Jun 2022 13:43:22
Very sad if teams like Fulham can outbid us and attract players ahead of us. This isn't me talking as a Rangers supporter. Fulham will be fighting for their survival in the EPL every Season, they are on a hiding every time they play one of the big boys. The chances of winning silverware is remote, (excluding a fluke result), Europe is but a dream for their Support and they don't exactly play to 50,000 every week. Southampton are not too dissimilar.

12.) 17 Jun 2022 13:55:58
Berkshire for most it’s about money.
We talk about Europe. They get to play city United Liverpool spurs Arsenal Chelsea.
That’s what players want to test themselves against

Not plastic Livingston Kilmarnock Hamilton
Then Ross county st mirren st Johnstone
Prove themselves with a Fulham wolves Southampton they get a bigger move.

13.) 17 Jun 2022 13:56:31
I kind of disagree here guys h will find most Scandinavian players are quite lever headed regarding there careers and don’t ever come across as money orientated even haaland chose Dortmund over a lot of bigger clubs offering more money cause he knew it was good for his career.
What we should worry about is if a German club come in for thee boy as they’re record of progressing hound players careers recently is phenomenal.
They give youth a chance and it’s successful for them on and off the pitch
I think if we can match the financial package on offer over all then he could choose us over epl and then move in 2 years.

14.) 17 Jun 2022 14:33:57
People don’t care about silverware anymore they would rather make money and play in a higher eagle against better players week in week out.

15.) 17 Jun 2022 15:08:52
He went to Russia when he had offers from the bundesligs and France, that was definitely money orientated.

16.) 17 Jun 2022 15:16:56
Even if you take money out the question, Playing in the prem for any side is a much better way to earn a move to a top half side than playing in Scotland ever will.

Look at all the lads that come here on loan, it's players that flopped in their championship loan the season before and they all go out and sped 3 seasons in 4th or 3rd tier in England.

It's just how it is and I hate this whole but we are Rangers. Nothing compares to playing in the premier League.

17.) 17 Jun 2022 15:22:24
Also Stevie Haaland choose Dortmund because Raiola tried to get a 40 mill release Clause and other clubs wanted none of that. Dortmund eventually agreed on 60million.

18.) 17 Jun 2022 17:15:50
Berkshire I agree but lots of these players now have escape clauses in case of relegation. Epl is the biggest shop window even if it doesn't work out big moves still possible look at the boy at Ajax from West ham Haller.

19.) 17 Jun 2022 17:16:42
We need to be realistic on signings or take a punt on strikers from smaller leagues like we did will alfie.

20.) 17 Jun 2022 17:18:34
Am aware of the clause callamR bro but I think over the course what they paid what they got in the time he played there amd then even the profit they can’t grumble.
I do believe tho Scandinavian players aren’t as money orientated as others
Look at Larsson as an example,
Asathor?
What’s your oppinion on this mate?

21.) 17 Jun 2022 19:33:08
I’m not sure we were even in for this lad.

22.) 17 Jun 2022 23:06:09
Personally Stevie I look at this Bothiem and see he was wanted by lower end bundesliga sides and Italian sides but he choose Russia instead and a Russian side who's not expecting to win the league also owned by Billionaires.

Seems like it very much was a money orientated move.

Apparently we’re keeping a close eye on Schalke Austrian keeper Martin Fraisl whose contract runs out at the end of the season.

Broxi Bear

1.) 09 Feb 2022 03:17:00
interesting, would be good if we could get him.

2.) 09 Feb 2022 08:45:05
finally a keeper.

3.) 09 Feb 2022 17:18:38
What do you mean finally a keeper we have three decent keepers 🤪 people jumping on this because shagger had a bad couple weeks we still have maybe a year to find a top class keeper shagger still No1 maybe no2 next year with McLaughlin No1.

4.) 09 Feb 2022 18:04:39
Got to feel for mcCrory doesn't get the chance.

5.) 09 Feb 2022 18:07:52
I don't know how reliable the Athletic is but read a piece yesterday basically said GVB felt he had enough at club for this season and rather than spend on players not 1st choice in Jan would rather wait till summer were he's expecting an overhaul then. Could be an expensive mistake.

6.) 10 Feb 2022 01:48:34
Onewaltersmith would. love nothing more than mcrorie to get a shot but doubt he will we have injuries galore and king still can't get a game. If that boy has any sense he will leave asap and develope his game somewhere else and return to us when he's older 🤞 hoping king and Lowry get a start against Annan in cup otherwise what is the point in our youth system Lowry might have stayed if he kept his place but did not look happy to me in interview the other day done nothing wrong and gets dropped.

Ramsey has arrived at ibrox with Ross Wilson to be unveiled to the press. Expect it to happen shortly lads.

Broxi Bear

1.) 31 Jan 2022 22:23:42
Has Ross Wilson any links to the magic circle?

31 Jan 2022 19:12:06
James McAtee reject all loan moves offered to him including the one from rangers and Manchester City are now hopeful he will own a new deal.

Broxi Bear

1.) 31 Jan 2022 19:27:06
McAtee contract does not expire till June 23.

2.) 31 Jan 2022 19:31:27
**pen.

3.) 31 Jan 2022 19:43:38
That’s only just over a year away John25, isn’t that the correct time to be trying to tie a young star down for longer? Surely they are in a weaker position in only 6 months if he doesn’t?

4.) 31 Jan 2022 19:53:24
Gios he is not going anywhere… pep wants him.

5.) 31 Jan 2022 19:55:50
Good luck to him not even making the bench down there clown.

6.) 31 Jan 2022 19:59:12
Apparently city have high hopes for him and see him potentially becoming the next Phil Foden.

7.) 31 Jan 2022 20:14:11
He will be at a championship team in a year.

8.) 31 Jan 2022 20:20:10
Broxi he is next in line behind foden and palmer
Not sure how leery can call him a clown.

9.) 31 Jan 2022 20:40:54
Leerc they never let foden out on loan and didn’t stop him making it.

10.) 31 Jan 2022 20:49:30
John25 ok mate cheers.

11.) 31 Jan 2022 21:01:27
That's my opinion and prediction. I believe he will be loaned out eventually then prob sign on at a lesser club.

12.) 31 Jan 2022 21:26:23
Your opinion of someone U prob haven’t seen play or haven’t met is destined for the championship and a clown 😂 yet pep sees him as the future 😆 man this sites class.

4.) 31 Jan 2022 12:38:23
Sky italy says brighton or rangers.

5.) 31 Jan 2022 12:47:19
Apparently the plane just landed in Glasgow someone on twitter reported.

6.) 31 Jan 2022 13:06:11

2.) 16 Jun 2022 11:38:57
Enjoy the reef Broxi I went there at least twice a year for many years, Mostly Costa Adeje area.

3.) 16 Jun 2022 12:41:50
Cheers spud. It’s Costa Adeje we’re at cunny, been before and we love it.

4.) 16 Jun 2022 13:48:58
Broxi. Some nice hotels around that area, I remember when it was a quiet fishing village, And no Russians, I’m hoping to come back to Scotland next year, But will definitely go to Tenerife for Sunshine.

5.) 16 Jun 2022 15:30:42
Not encountered any Russians so far, plenty of Scandinavians. Aqua land tomorrow, Siam park on Monday and Loro park on Wednesday and might throw in a wee boat trip in between if we have the time before returning to the dreaded W word on the 29th. How’s life down unde r.

6.) 16 Jun 2022 17:21:54
Just keep topping it Broxi. The 29th is a long way away. Enjoy.

7.) 16 Jun 2022 21:22:07
Cheers parlane. Making the most of it since we’ve not been away for a few years.

8.) 16 jun 2022 23:25:31
i had a wee house almost facing loro park broxi, some scary noises at night but beautiful wee beaches.

9.) 17 Jun 2022 08:22:30
Best wee pub in the Reef and great place on match days. George who owns it always welcomes me and the family and I’ve been going here since my oldest was a baby and she’s now 23. We always get a nice wee sing song to awaken the drinkers before the game and win, lose or draw a wee song song afterwards with George on the keyboard ? See you in a few weeks Geo.

10.) 17 Jun 2022 11:47:52
Broxi life’s good down here, There was a pub down at the beach just before you go up to the moonlight bar, It was called the In and Out, It’s no longer there, That was owned by Russians, The last time I was in Tenerife they had directions signs down by the Bahia Del Duque in Spanish, English and Russian, Enjoy your holiday, ?.

12 Jun 2022 17:48:25
Sorry for going over old ground guys but on holiday at Tenerife and still can’t stop thinking about my beloved.
We all know that conceding the league title was disappointing but in reality would players like Bassey be valued at 25 million had we been knocked out of Europe at the first hurdle or the second or the third (no laughing in the back), would big teams across Europe be looking to splash the cash on him had we only won the league and not went on our European run?

Broxi Bear

1.) 12 Jun 2022 18:10:13
Your right brox … a lot to be positive over.

2.) 12 Jun 2022 18:15:42
I know the league is our priority and our bread and buttered but I’ve genuinely never been less bothered about them winning the league than I was this year. And that’s purely down to the European run and Scottish cup win. Rangers and Celtic will swap leagues just as we have done for decades but European finals happen once in a blue moon. And I agree re the value of our players as well. If we could go back I genuinely wouldn’t swap our season with them. And before I get it in the neck about champions league next year, we can still qualify for that.

3.) 12 Jun 2022 18:56:19
Nicely stated Thanks AlloaGer.

4.) 12 Jun 2022 20:12:49
I think we failed to topple an average Celtic team and the European run will never gloss, over how poorly we defended the title we fought so hard to win.

5.) 12 Jun 2022 20:44:34
Club stood still last season and without further investment it's going go backwards.

6.) 12 Jun 2022 21:14:45
Spot on AlloaGer.

7.) 12 Jun 2022 22:54:27
see to me the league is a means to the end. the most important thing for Rangers is to do well in EU. The league will never pay our players wages and if that's all we have, we cannot progress as we couldn't afford better players. of course we want to win the league but its not our bread and butter imo.

06 Jun 2022 21:39:23
Rangers in the top ten teams for co efficient points amassed over the last five years and that includes the progres embarrassment. Won’t see that on Celtics page eh fitness guru andy?

Broxi Bear

30 May 2022 14:25:36
See Frank MacAvennie saying big Shirley isn’t good enough for the Epl and players like jack grealish would rip him apart. I’m guessing he couldn’t bare to watch our run to the final as he would’ve seen the individual performances of the big man. He was up against a similar ilk of player to grealish, who coincidentally can't get a game for his team, playing 2 different positions and didn’t look out of place. He also got man of the match in a European final.
Why do certain former footballers not just give their opinion rather than trying to get a rise from us in the hopes of staying relevant with their own fan base? It reeks of desperation. Frank my advice to you is, stick to chasing the burds instead of the limelight.

2.) 30 May 2022 14:37:31
If he had brains he'd be dangerous. Occupation - treasure hunter and tried to plead the 5th amendment .

3.) 30 May 2022 14:48:19
Macavennie talks rubbish continually, another expert on anything Rangers. With his green tinted specs, he is very jealous of any success that comes our way, Terry munro obviously affected him badly along with the rest of them!

4.) 30 May 2022 15:21:03
Cocaine addicted alky - and a Tim into the bargain - take no notice of what that loser says .

5.) 30 May 2022 15:25:07
Surely that is him giving his opinion. Can't believe you're still hanging on to this Terry munro $hite. Big Ange has long wiped that from our memory. 10 out of 11 ain't bad. Long may it continue.

6.) 30 May 2022 15:49:43
He is a complete roaster, talks utter mince, can't believe that the press give him any airtime!

7.) 30 May 2022 17:20:48
Gregory what’s wrong with a bit a gear now n the mate lol.

8.) 30 May 2022 17:25:46
Theres a reason he was a binman.

9.) 30 May 2022 18:05:22
Surely if “Frankie bhoy”says he’s not good enough, then it must be true! The guy is an irrelevant buffoon - what he knows about football he could write down on the back of a stamp.

10.) 31 May 2022 00:08:17
Gregory, and skint to boot. what's not to like?

Broxi Bear

Head thumping through lack of sleep. Just saw the video of the wee boy getting his passport and finding out he is going to Seville. Pure magic. Had tears.

2.) 18 May 2022 07:10:57
Feeling exactly the same. I booked the Thursday off work last week, also managed a half day off today, so finish at 12. Already got the red white and blue bunting round the garden. Flags will be going up today. Beers are in the fridge along with the pies at half time. I've got a house full tonight. 2-1 Rangers.

3.) 18 May 2022 08:15:59
I actually slept for 7 hours last night, but, just as excited as all other Rangers Fans. I feel that this is our moment, hopefully a great end to the decade which started in of the lower leagues, what we have achieved is remarkable and can never be underrated, well almost anyone. C'mon The Gers let's do it tonight.

4.) 18 May 2022 08:29:25
Seeker there’s also a video of an older chap celebrating his birthday and in his card there’s a ticket for the game. After a joyous laugh he bursts into tears. I had a lump in my throat watching it.

5.) 18 May 2022 09:26:59

It’s no coincidence that our domestic performances began to drop after Hagi got injured in the cup. One of our most creative players and probably the best footballing brain within the squad and he can pick out passes no one else in our team is capable of. Fully expect Hagi to be a big player for us in the coming season.

Callam I would disagree. Who’s always there to sweep up when tav is caught out of position. Not bashing tav just using this as an example. Jack more often than not is the one who takes on the responsibility of covering tav when he pushes further forward. As for a box to box midfielder I’d say Scotty Arfield is better described as a box to box than Ryan Jack.

If true John that’s shocking and just highlights the fact that Doncaster was only trying to benefit himself from this measly deal. Our board are crying out for better sponsorship deals for the whole of the league while the other team that holds any real influence only want to put the boot in.
