I read earlier online that we have allegedly ended our interest in Bosnian goalkeeper Kovacevic. Been scouted a few times. If true, I wonder if this is a signal that Mcgregor is signing a one year deal or could be simply we move on to another target which suggests we are actively looking for a new no.1.

1.) 13 Jun 2022 20:51:57
Yes we watched him a few games.

2.) 13 Jun 2022 21:09:13
The keeper i think we'll sign is jack butland.

3.) 13 Jun 2022 21:23:39
Butland highly likely to be heading back to Birmingham.

4.) 13 Jun 2022 21:58:07
Reports saying we have put an offer to butland
And looks like he is going to Birmingham.

5.) 13 Jun 2022 22:28:08
Is there any idea about potential fee involved? Can’t believe Birmingham could beat us wage wise. Club in decline for years, lack of ambition from Butland if he was to choose them over us in my mind.

6.) 13 Jun 2022 22:31:02
Butland would be a great signing for me.
In terms of priorities I think RW is the biggest to sort.
Morelos, Aribo and Kent signing/ not signing new contracts will also be huge for GVB as big decisions needed there.
Realistically I think one will go.

7.) 13 Jun 2022 22:52:54
Jesus Christ, if we’ve went for him (and I’m not sure we have actually placed a bid) and he choses Birmingham over us then we’re in trouble. Birmingham .

8.) 14 Jun 2022 00:12:31
Dado, why are we in trouble if a single player is so lacking in ambition that he chooses a few quid and utter mediocrity over medals and European football?

9.) 14 Jun 2022 00:43:36
We haven’t that was meant to say. We have not put a bid in.

10.) 14 Jun 2022 01:40:27
Amad Diallo will likely be out RW next season
We’re prob looking at a back up centre
Forward to challenge alfredo
A joint 1st choice Gk
New left back
-st choice centre back and centre mid to challenge lundstrum Jack n kamara with davo as back up no4
Then after that whoever leaves will be replaced
John do u have any info on diallo mate?

11.) 14 Jun 2022 06:29:16
Stevie g I’d be rather disappointed if we signed back up players ?we need to sign better players ?.

12.) 14 Jun 2022 06:36:23
All this nonsense about Diallo all of a sudden, he was rank most of the time, we cannot go with the same team we had last year it shows a real lack of ambition from the board, but i reserve judgement as its early days.

13.) 14 Jun 2022 07:10:27
In my opinion Tavloyal we should not lose out on players to Birmingham, we just made the Europa cup final and Birmingham well…. are Birmingham. I really hope we didn’t bid for him and it was just speculation as I’m embarrassed if we did. I also am struggling to see what Diallo brings to the team? Perhaps he would be better season 2 and needed a few months to settle? I would rather we sign a permanent right wing who would improve the starting 11.

14.) 14 Jun 2022 09:09:23
Cooper, reports in Turkey Rangers have made an offer for out of contract Fenerbache GK Berke Ozer so that might be why.

15.) 14 Jun 2022 10:33:16
So long as we sign a top class keeper I do not care who he is! I expect McGregor to retire and I do not consider McLaughlin good enough. If we do not sign a quality keeper I fear we will lose more goals than we did last season. As far as a striker is concerned our top priority must be a new contract for Morelos but I feel that we should also sign two back up strikers. Defoe was a more significant player for us than Itten and both have gone. Not having a decent quality striker when both Morelos and Roofe were out injured had a significantly adverse effect last season. I am just hoping that GVB has someone in mind that the press are not aware of!

16.) 14 Jun 2022 10:59:35
Berkshire if we sign a keeper who can command his area at crosses we will not lose more goals in the league. my opinion.

17.) 14 Jun 2022 12:06:03
Going by Berke ozer YouTube he definitely comes out for crosses…refuses to catch though! Flaps and punches. McLaughlin for me as no1 and berke as initial 2 if signed…McLaughlin is a safe pair of hands especially domestically when it’s crosses into the mixer from other spl sides.

18.) 14 Jun 2022 15:20:09
A lot off talk re butland picking Birmingham over us.
What if we offer 10k and they offer 25k. Mb he does not want to play in our Mickey Mouse league. Mb he wants to be with his family in England.

Mb we have not put in an offer and actually don’t want him.

19.) 14 Jun 2022 15:49:03
Fully agree John, right now it is all guess work! The only real motivator other than cash that I can see for anyone coming to Scotland is to play in European Competition. Still plenty of time this Transfer Window and still a number of quality players available on Bosmans that haven't confirmed where they are signing next!

20.) 14 Jun 2022 16:06:29
Get your point bgate, but alfredo would never tolerate 2nd choice nor should he he’s a class act in our team.

if we sign a better player than him we would sell him so that’s why we need a back up for him to battle with roofe. Sakala likely be deployed as a wide left back up to Kent.
Aribo looks to be off so hagi/ lowry battle for no10.
Rw will be Either diallo or a new signing, with wright as back up.
Personally I’m not overly impressed with diallo either but can imagine him coming back.

In mf lundstrum jacko amd kamara are all good enough amd I don’t see us attracting many better than those 3 to Scotland so likely will be a 4th of similar ability to restate amongst themselves with davo offering an extra option. Again not a back up mate

If we manage to keell people bassey which I highly doubt then we’re set at centre back but likely he will
Leave so we will need a new centre half to partner goldson. With souttar and hellander or katic as back up with the other moving on. Devine backing up tav means we need a new left back to battle with bb or maybe 2 if we sell him and again no back ups mentioned
That would be 1st choice centre back 1st choice lb 1st choice cm and 1st choice RW.
Not to mention a quality cf as back up amd a future no1 to battle mcglauchlan before taking over

That’s a big turnaround in 1 summer and majority would be 1st picks not back ups.
That’s likely what we’re looking at this summer due to our poor league mate but again I do see your point.

21.) 14 Jun 2022 16:18:44
Coully, yea, i agree in re mclauchlin, every body or mostly everybody have said of him he is a safe pair of hands, why the change, i wonder if its only spoke sbout because the transfer window is open,

22.) 14 Jun 2022 19:12:32
Stevie Alfredo will not be second choice.

23.) 14 Jun 2022 19:22:29
I’m not a huge fan of what if’s John, what if we offer £25k and they offer £10k, do you see what I did they’re? It’s the same argument.

In my opinion we should not lose out to a team like Birmingham and if we do then we’re not progressing. I could not think of another team to make even the semi finals of the Europa league in the last 10 year who would lose out on a player to Birmingham?

24.) 14 Jun 2022 20:19:31
Dado totally agree. However do we actually want him.

25.) 14 Jun 2022 21:03:35
Yeah I’ve no idea John, silly season, we ‘after’ everybody ?

I do hope for 1 or 2 before the play offs.

26.) 14 Jun 2022 21:38:59
Dado, we need at least two in before play offs.

27.) 15 Jun 2022 00:16:42
I honestly can't see us signing any players until after champions league qualification is over. at a push maybe a keeper depending on McGregor. In CBs we have king, Simpson, helander, katic, goldson, bassey that can play CB we have more midfielders than anything forwards roofe will prob be fit to start Europe morelos back very soon and sakala when I think we will only play one up front in qualifiers anyway. I believe it will be a one out one in basis. Which got is into trouble at start of last season and in January window when they only went for Ramsay and diallo due to hagi injury. Wilson and club really need to back gio I'm just afraid they won't.

28.) 15 Jun 2022 18:18:21
John25, i'd love to see us bring in an u21 with a level of hunger that makes Alfie sweat about his position mind. If we can bring in a CF that can be more than just an injury back up and pushes him and Roofe to raise their game we’re on for a very productive season.
Other than that, for me its a keeper and a right winger, even if Shagger ends up doing one more year how many games has he got in him? I would like to see Mccrorie get a run of games mind.

29.) 15 Jun 2022 18:18:21

05 Jun 2022 10:07:04
Just read that we are being linked with an interest in Stoke City left back Josh Tymon. 23 years old and valued at £5m. It also suggests there is interest in Borna so would be a replacement. The source is the Sun so probably nonsense!

1.) 05 Jun 2022 11:26:47
To be fair Alan Nixon the journalist that said it is fairly clued up when it comes to lower leagues down south.

Would be the biggest indication that we’ll go 3 at the back next season as Tymon is more of a wing back than a full back.

2.) 05 Jun 2022 11:48:46
3 at the back du think basset will be part of a back three? Or will tymon be first choice seems a lot of money for a backup. Personally I'd be looking at another CB if we're 3 at the back. And backup for tav.

3.) 05 Jun 2022 12:25:40
If we play 3 at the back Bassey will 100% be played as the LCB he’s actually perfect for it in my opinion.

4.) 05 Jun 2022 12:29:58
Think we will keep same formation. Changing to a back 5 when needed.

5.) 05 Jun 2022 14:30:06
Wouldn't be surprised if Barisic was away. I think he thought he was away when we beat Celtic last year and he was the last man off the pitch!

6.) 05 Jun 2022 15:13:35
Just think bassey gives you more at left back/ wing back with soutar goldson and another if it was back 3. Barasic could deputise bassey and get another CB who commands box in defence and is a threat from set piece.

7.) 05 Jun 2022 15:54:19
Personally would love to see back 3 of Souttar, Goldson and Bassey. Playing Bassey in a back 3 allows our LWB to push on and even come inside. Similar to how Tierney plays for Scotland with Robertson. That back 3 would be solid for me especially if we have Lundstrum sitting in front with possibly Jack in more defensive matches.
If this is solid information for me I'm taking it as Bassey will be deployed at left sided CB.

8.) 05 Jun 2022 16:19:35
Surely Leon King will get his chance if needed at LB or CB.
Why spend £5m on a LB ( Tymon ) who might be used sparingly throughout the season?

9.) 06 Jun 2022 09:44:27
Tymon would be a starter if we signed him. Kings also a RB/ CB not a LB.

03 Jun 2022 17:43:07
Confirmed that Balogan and Firth have left Rangers.

1.) 03 Jun 2022 18:12:07
Out of davis mcgregor or balogun. its balogun i would have given another year to. Very good squad player. Firth back to playing pub league.

2.) 03 Jun 2022 18:19:43
They go with my best wishes.

3.) 03 Jun 2022 18:29:06
Best wishes lads and good luck.

4.) 03 Jun 2022 18:37:06
I would have kept balogun and tried to get helander out the door.

5.) 03 Jun 2022 19:01:10
Probably the correct decision regarding Balogun, hopefully gets his move back to Germany.

6.) 03 jun 2022 19:09:44
firth will be moving straight to a coaching role elsewhere.

7.) 03 Jun 2022 19:25:11
Correct decision on balogun.

8.) 03 Jun 2022 19:29:22
Balogun was a good player for us and I’d have given him an extra year however a bit like hellander (although not as bad) he has had injury issues. We need a squad of fit players and also, keeping a 33 year old as back up blocks the pathway for younger players like king. I have no idea if he’s good enough but if that’s the thinking, so be it. Good luck to balogun. Quality player and nice fella.

9.) 03 Jun 2022 20:10:07
Agree balogun over Davis for me he was decent at rb to.

10.) 03 Jun 2022 20:58:28
I would have kept balogun but can't believe the negativity towards steven Davis, neither i canWee davo still a quality midfielder that can most definitely benefit us throughout the season Still very fit and still a class act for me .

11.) 03 Jun 2022 21:23:17
Agree walter but think balogun would of been better to keep with the likes of Lowry coming through would like to see him get the game time Davis is going to get Davis is still a class player and can calm games down.

12.) 03 Jun 2022 21:30:38
Sir walter. He barely got any minutes under gvb. that's how its a strange signing. Nobody hating on him. But his game time will be extremely limited same as last season. Would rather mcCann got more minutes.

13.) 03 Jun 2022 21:35:40
Balogun was Class! But to suggest him over Davis is BONKERS!

14.) 03 Jun 2022 21:52:40
Swso, i agree mate, obviously the people that make these decisions thought it davis was worth another year, or he wouldn't have got an extention, its as simple as that.

15.) 03 Jun 2022 22:08:33
Balogun was offered a new deal, but feels at his age he wants one last move where he’ll play regularly. Gio couldn’t promise that as he’s likely to be 4th choice pick at best next season.

16.) 03 Jun 2022 22:35:09
Paul86- I thought Balogun might have got another years contract.
Best wishes for the future.

17.) 03 Jun 2022 22:57:36
Think the Davis extra year is good business as I believe he will probably step into a coaching role once the year is up.

18.) 03 Jun 2022 23:09:56
Gio stated one of the reasons Davis renewed was to also get him into coaching so must see a role for him in the future and helping our promising midfielders as well as having a role on the pitch.

19.) 03 Jun 2022 23:52:43
Baloguns been a great signing, but at 33 he is the one that was always going to make way in my eyes, Kings pathway dictated he wouldn’t get a new deal

If Simpson goes and we sell Bassey, we might need 1 CB and cover at LB

Agree 100% with @Sir Walter, Davis is a class act and still has a lot to offer, we made a significant saving on his wages as well when he signed his one year extension.

20.) 04 Jun 2022 02:33:10
It is not bonkers when you consider how much balogun played compared to davis.

21.) 04 Jun 2022 07:40:24
Rfc23, keeping steven davis won't effect the emergence of alex lowry because they play in different midfield positions mate Paul86,
Davis was injured for a part of last season and then brought back into the squad and he's fantastic for bringing of the bench to either calm the game down or get you on the front foot, depending on what's happening in the game at the time
Two massive games i'll give you for example when davo was brought on and rangers improved more and got control of the game was the europa league final and the scottish cup semi final against celtic, where he came on and played superbly That's what i'm stating, wee davo can be so beneficial for us for easily another season .

22.) 04 Jun 2022 08:25:35
No one is hating on Davis coops everyone knows what a player he has been for us its just fans think it was time to move on.

23.) 04 Jun 2022 09:56:13
I know it won't SGL that's why i never mentioned lowry at all. And its McCann that i said. let's just wait and see, and see just how many minutes he gets. am guessing not alot.

24.) 04 jun 2022 22:39:02
davis is still a fantastic midfielder, and well worth one more year, but i understand that others may think otherwise, , we could buy a midfielder who turned out not to be of davis ability, so at the cost i’m happy he will still be a rangers player,

25.) 04 Jun 2022 23:22:22
Why do so many of you think you know better than Van Bronkhorst, an ex professional at the highest level, for both club and country, who’s got his Uefa licences, has worked under Pep, has won trophies as a manager, with an ex world class player in Roy mackaay by his side, and an Ajax academy coach?

If he thinks it’s right for the club and the bigger picture to keep Davis and release Balogun then it’s the right call.

Does anyone stop to think about the wages Balogun was on? Over 20k a week.

Do you think Gio just guesses what to do and hopes it’s right?

He will have sat down, with his staff, with Ross Wilson, the board and most importantly, the players themselves and they will all do what’s best for all parties.

So many champ manager, armchair experts on here who actually think they have the credentials to be questioning GVB on his very well educated and well thought out decisions.

26.) 05 jun 2022 00:16:21
nope, checked, and rechecked, not seen one single post that says “ i know better than gio “
not a single one that even comes close to saying that,

think maybe you fell into the trap of thinking everyone else here is an idiot and only you can see the big picture,

get a grip son, it’s a rumour and banter page, not the high court.

27.) 05 Jun 2022 07:28:41
J1426 he wasnt on over 20k tho. wasnt even on more than 15k. Everybody is allowed there own opinion. We barely strengthened last season and its cost us the title. That was a massive mistake by SG. Whos also more qualified than us. Bringing in mostly fringe players.

28.) 05 jun 2022 09:30:01
would you like the ed to rename the site mate,

“ rangers say nothing site because the manager knows what he’s doing “

with a “ no opinions site as an added bonus “.

29.) 05 Jun 2022 14:50:23
J1426 everyone entitled to an opinion including you.
I actually agree with Balogun going to free up money and freshen up.
I’d rather Davis was the same, but I trust Gio and hope he is wrong.

30.) 05 Jun 2022 15:20:43
He is not wrong re Davis.

23 May 2022 21:28:15
Has there been any update on Rory Wilson situation? Still live in hope seeing the European run and lifting Scottish Cup May foster a rethink by him and he may sign. Not heard who is going to if he leaves? Sounded like Villa but not heard anything for a bit.

1.) 23 May 2022 22:05:22
Just played three times 90 minutes in Europe for Scotland scored one.
His contract expires in June.

2.) 24 May 2022 16:19:30
Man City still favourites is what I’m hearing.

3.) 24 May 2022 20:15:06

4.) 25 May 2022 02:03:23

HES 16.

20 May 2022 12:11:29
Cardiff city Matondo on the radar, can play either flank. Leeds and Celtic also interested, 16 years old so cross border fee of £130k. Only repeating what I read online, never heard of him or know anything else about him.

1.) 21 May 2022 01:16:11
Rabbi Matondo left Cardiff 6 years ago and is now 21 playing for Cercel Brugge on loan from Schalke.

2.) 21 May 2022 06:46:16
It’s 16 year old Japhet Matondo, not Rabbi.

3.) 21 May 2022 10:30:03
We need to sign some top quality players that can walk straight into the team. Matondo might be a good player but I don't see him starting every week for us.

4.) 21 May 2022 12:39:30
Won’t be anywhere near first team. Youth team I would’ve thought at 16 years old.

5.) 21 May 2022 13:40:26
Berkshire I get your point that we need 1st team players that will improve our starting 11 but we can't take our eyes off the future. We need to keep bringing the best young talent we can bring in to the club. I think we have an exciting young group of players that will save us millions. Just now we have McCrorie who IMO is a good quality keeper. We have King and Bassey for CB. Lad devine looked good at full back. In midfield we have a host of young talent with the pick of the bunch young Lowry. Lad McCann looks decent also with a couple good wingers coming through. Then there is the lad Weston. We bring even 3 or 4 of them through you could be talking millions saved and for me 3, King, Bassey and Lowry will bring in more than Patterson if they keep progressing at the current rate.

6.) 21 May 2022 14:27:08
Bellshill, I agree reference our young talent and I look forward to seeing Bassey, Lowry and King as mainstays for many years to come. I just hope that we don't see them as soon as they are seen as quality players. I personally would prefer to see McCrorie replacing McGregor if we are not to bring in a top quality keeper but I am not a fan of McLaughlin.
Bringing in more you players of the quality of young McCann will also be welcomed however we will need to sign four, five or more, all better quality than what they will be replacing since I don't believe that we should be holding on to any of the players that are reaching the end of their contract and we also need to get rid of players such as Simpson and Itten that are simply no where near the standard we need.
It is going to be an interesting close season and I just hope that GVB is given the budget to bring in his own players, players of his choice not players that are picked for him. I am sure, given where he has played and managed that he is aware of quality players in Holland, Spain and the Far East, not forgetting England and Italy.

7.) 22 May 2022 10:32:04
Who cares? He can GTF for all I care. Nevef rated him and I believe cover is top notch. Better than him want to see King getting run out.

Just reading that Xavi Simons has still not signed his new contract at PSG. He has one week left until his current contract runs out. Wonder if Gio can pull off a master stroke here?! ?.

1.) 21 Jun 2022 21:06:28
Rumoured to be on 20k a week already for an unproven talent it's a risk.

2.) 21 Jun 2022 21:08:48
Cooper. ?.

3.) 21 Jun 2022 21:20:18
I honestly think we’ve more chance of Paul Simon mate, not that I wouldn’t love him to come but we’re not currently competing in his market place.

4.) 21 Jun 2022 21:38:51
We can but hope, Cooper. That would be an amazing signing if Gio could pull it off!

5.) 21 Jun 2022 22:32:32
£20k pw and no transfer fee puts him right in our market place. Next week he’ll be earning £0 pw. Desperately wants first team action and we can give that plus CL or EL and some silverware and in 2 years we sell for £50m. ?.

6.) 21 Jun 2022 22:50:09
It's the wage structure though coop is he going to sign for 20k a week and what does that do to the likes of basseys wage demand.

7.) 21 Jun 2022 23:01:01
Give the boy a million quid n a 4 year deal on 20k a week to be reviewed after one season if he earns an improved wage he gets it.
The boys meant to be something special.
Centre mid I believe is that correct?
Would likely mean the end for aribo and kamara both I think.

8.) 22 Jun 2022 00:15:34
Bassey has got to be getting offered 25k surely?

9.) 22 jun 2022 09:47:56
i have been told there is one major signing lined up, same journalist who told me greegs had an offer weeks ago, here’s hoping.

30 May 2022 17:16:30
What are the expectations for next season in terms of silverware? This season we through away the league but went way beyond expectations in Europe and came so so close. In one cup we lost the plot but in the other won it. Lots to be decided in the transfer market between now and the start of next season.
For me I am looking for a domestic double, league must be priority. As Scottish cup holders I want us to go and defend it next season. In terms of Europe and this may be controversial, I want CL but a big part of me wants another crack at the Europa League to go one better. Would be happy to get group stage CL and then drop into EL, realistically if we got out of group we’d probably struggle to go any further. Don’t want to be defeatist but it’s going to naw away for a while that we didn’t win EL and I really think that for now is our level in Europe and so another long run in EL for me and who knows.

1.) 30 May 2022 17:30:28
The league is a must.

2.) 30 May 2022 17:40:00
Win the league at all cost and make the group stages of the champions league.

3.) 30 May 2022 17:53:17
After blowing the league last season, Gio must deliver the title.
And a Domestic cup.
And a decent run in Europe to carry on the recent successes.
The foundations are already in place. Add a couple of quality ( and replace any who leave from the first 11 ) then we are good to go.

4.) 30 May 2022 19:25:10
Regain league is a must also direct into CL that comes with it.

5.) 30 May 2022 20:19:14
If picking domestic double woukd much rather league cup and league. feel if you win silverware league cup it can kick the squad on hungry for more.

6.) 30 May 2022 23:15:57
Need to win the league next season.

17 May 2022 18:59:52
Arrived in Seville at lunchtime. Sitting by the pool as my 11 year old daughter splashes about. Just thinking to myself what a life experience this will be for her to be at the game and god willing see us lift that trophy. For the rest of her long life she’ll be able to say I was there. Special times. C’mon Rangers let’s do this.

Have a blast pal.

Unbelievable. Thought I’d do a good thing tonight. I turned on the tv with the intention of supporting Celtic in the Eurovision. Turns out it’s been going on for a couple of days already and they exited on Thursday in the knock out phase. cannot buy a win in Europe. All very low key, just like their title win. Oh well, c’mon Ukraine.

1.) 14 May 2022 21:51:26
If Ukraine wins this then it’s just bs because of what’s happening there and they are getting pity votes.

2.) 15 May 2022 07:00:24
Wife and daughter watching it upstairs like every year. Can't stand it. Makes me want to puke.

Just seen a post on Facebook confirming La Cartuja stadium opening for Rangers fans. Tickets 10 euros per person. Need to book these via a link. Gates open at 8pm local time ahead of the 9pm KO.

1.) 13 May 2022 21:03:40
Next best thing to having a ticket for the match. Well done the people of Seville.

2.) 13 May 2022 21:48:11
Our board have yet again being shown up, shame.

3.) 14 May 2022 09:09:49
Why? Because they didn’t do what you want?
After some of the scenes in the past I certainly don’t blame them . We have proven as a support we cannot behave abd the Jed element takes over .
If we were to win it would be a March to glasg city centre.
Good decision I say.

4.) 14 May 2022 11:32:44
Once our fans learn to behave we may see some privileges
Another fine yesterday, flare on park, although blocking stairs and passages a bizarre one.

From what I have read storm. FIFA are allowing players based in Russia to move until July 2023 which to me says this is essentially a loan. Doesn’t sound to me like any player can completely rip up their contracts. I wonder though if players whose contracts end by summer 2023 are essentially ripping up their contract. I don’t think botheims contract ends until later than that. Others may no better.

And If it were me I’d extend my contract by 2 years, double my wage, win another title and cup, bust a gut to play in champions league, I would expect us to drop into EL after group stages and then a good run in EL again ? and earn a move to the best league in the world, La Liga.

Baxter, he can double his wages staying with us as it wouldn’t break the bank, £14k pw is what he is on I believe just now. Play in the premiership, great for one season getting pumped week in week out and then they’re back in championship. I could understand if it was palace or Brentford to be back in London close to family and friends. Give up the chance to play in champions league for EPL mediocrity. None of us know what his true motivation and goal is, I am happy for him to go and if we get £15m from forest then delighted with that. I suspect he may want better for himself though. Time will tell.

Great money if true but why on earth would Aribo want to go to Forest? Whipping boys and back to championship the following season. I think we should sell Aribo this window, we need to freshen things up but I will be sad to see him go, I just can’t see it being to them and if Gio wants him to stay then I think we can provide a better contract along with European football and silverware.

That’s good news. Wonder if we can get some cash out of these moves. Always thought there was player there in Middleton but just not quite made it with us. Good luck to both of them.

I expect us to have had transfer activity planned for months and so We shouldn’t have to wait too much longer to get the right players in. There will be a plan A, B and C dependent on outgoings as well. CL qualifiers early Aug, we need to be ready.

John no, we scouted Ronaldo and Kane but deemed not good enough. Believe it’s between Neymar and Messi now although Messi preferred it could be derailed by Benzemma instructing his people he wants to come to us and to see if we are interested. After us turning down Haaland I’m not sure what way this is going to go. Might be easier to just go for lesser known names playing Russian league or Dutch second division. Last thing we need is too many big EGO’s in the dressing room?.

Don’t worry, I’ve heard we’ve turned our attention to Messi now?.

£20k pw and no transfer fee puts him right in our market place. Next week he’ll be earning £0 pw. Desperately wants first team action and we can give that plus CL or EL and some silverware and in 2 years we sell for £50m. ?.
