Does anyone no anything about former Sheffield United player and boxer Curtis Woodhouses twitter comment saying there is going to be a massive announcement on Monday, any info on this john, what it is or about.

Craiggoo

1.) 21 Jul 2022 10:40:04
Would imagine it'll just be a sponsorship/ partnership given the account he tagged.

2.) 21 Jul 2022 10:41:36
Nothing gers related I've heard.

3.) 21 Jul 2022 10:54:45
Pray to god were not signing oli mcburnie ?.

4.) 21 Jul 2022 11:25:05
There seems to be a lot of chat about something happening.
Let’s hope it’s a game changing move of sorts.

5.) 21 Jul 2022 11:28:48
How is it nothing Gers related if it mentions Glasgow Rangers? I’m not saying there is anything in it but he clearly mentions us.

6.) 21 Jul 2022 11:54:06
Stewart’s name is still being put out there as a possible target. I’m not sure he’s good enough.

7.) 21 Jul 2022 12:15:02
Wood house is a mouth piece.

8.) 21 Jul 2022 12:15:04
Totally random, but I believe it is an announcement about a mental welfare group he is starting and there is an offer to join for Rangers supporters. He is a big Rangers fan.

9.) 21 Jul 2022 12:32:46
Be careful what you say John, was it not woodhouse to drove round a street looking for a guy who had trolled him on twitter? I think it was him and he was out his car shouting 'come out or I chap every door in this street until I find you' total nutter.

10.) 21 Jul 2022 14:20:00
Still a mouthpiece, his announcement is he is fronting a mental health charity which is open to rangers fans.

11.) 21 Jul 2022 14:29:38
@dado quite right too of him. About time the trolls suffered retribution for the way they act online.

30 Jan 2022 21:17:05
Souttar to be announced very shortly he will be playing against them on Wednesday.

Craiggoo

1.) 30 Jan 2022 21:42:12
No chance!

2.) 30 Jan 2022 22:03:39
You want to bet.

3.) 30 Jan 2022 22:05:12
Doubt he'd go straight in with balogun fit and bassey avail buy I think bringing him in will make us stronger.

4.) 30 Jan 2022 23:31:38
If soutar signs he play cb before bassey.

5.) 31 Jan 2022 02:24:35
The last two games Balogun wasn't even on the bench surely he would have been on the bench raises questions about his fitness.

6.) 31 Jan 2022 04:23:21
Yeah but not ahead of Balogun if fit would be to early Souttar just to quick but for next game unless Balogun isn't fit then yes but that's if he even joins today and not summer.

7.) 31 Jan 2022 08:28:44
Why would it be too quick? Amad was straight in the team and he’s not played this season; isn’t like Souttar isn’t match fit.

8.) 31 Jan 2022 10:22:34
Souttar played excellent for hearts v them. Why wouldn't we play him lol? Bassey isn't a centre back and souttar is better than balogun. I'd drop barasic play bassey left back and put souttar in.

9.) 31 Jan 2022 10:29:08
Cant wait to see all the ones that put the sh#t emojis up when this one comes true 😆.

10.) 31 Jan 2022 10:42:31
I would be happy if Souttar signed today but our real problems lie further up the park. We are short of quality attacking midfield players and in the absence of Morelos it has highlighted the need for a quality striker.

11.) 31 Jan 2022 12:14:40
I expect the deal to happen today and fully expect him to make his debut on Wed, Gio wasn’t shy in flinging Sands and Amad straight in. Big Soutts knows the league and has just played against them, no reason why he wouldn’t start.

21 Jan 2022 15:14:04
Heard a wee rumour earlier today saying that souttar will be joining after the hearts game against celtic this week also he is not supposed to play tomorrow as will be cup-tied for us, just what I heard, i guess we will have a better idea tomorrow if he ain't in the team against Auchinleck.

Craiggoo

1.) 21 Jan 2022 16:04:19
Hope so we could do with having another leader in the team mate.

2.) 21 Jan 2022 16:32:25
Very good chance that rumour is bang on 👍🏻.

3.) 21 Jan 2022 17:12:24
Makes perfect sense tbh.

4.) 21 Jan 2022 17:29:00
Make an offer near the end of the transfer window, hearts are bound to accept it as they know if they don't they get nothing in the summer for him.

08 Nov 2022 21:04:36
Following on to my last message, I was basically saying I don't think wee realise how actually important ryan jack is to us until he is not there and even our run to seville and the tail end of last season he was there to me he bought the best out in lundstram as well and as I said I think wee have that little bit more fight in drive in our team when he is in it.

Craiggoo

1.) 08 Nov 2022 21:18:25
I like the midfield partnership of ryan jack and john lundstram ?.

2.) 08 Nov 2022 21:46:14
He hardly plays to be fair good when fit but that’s not very often.

3.) 08 Nov 2022 22:09:30
Is that Jack who is constantly unfit, we need rid off him asap.

4.) 09 Nov 2022 00:11:12
@craiggoo this is the reason I think they will go for the boy devlin at hearts. The way gio spoke to the lad after he was sent off was a big hint. He told him "you don't need to play like that as you're a better player than that" and he is a carbon copy of a fit Ryan Jack.

5.) 09 Nov 2022 00:34:46
He hasn’t been fit for over a year now and I don’t think he will ever be fully fit again. Also we have struggle even when he plays.

6.) 09 Nov 2022 11:30:31
I like Ryan Jack, But sadly his time should be up along with Roofe, Helander and Soutter, We have far to many longterm injuries, Stealing a wage, ???????????.

08 Nov 2022 21:00:31
I know people on here have mixed opinions on ryan jack now regarding his injury and the amount of time he plays but I personally still think he is one of our most important players and the team is at a total loss without him, I don't no if people have noticed this season at no point when he has been in the team have wee took a battering only without him, the celtic defeat he came on when wee were 4 down, same in Amsterdam he came on 2 mins before they scored the 4th goal, came of at nil nil against napoli, came on when wee were 2 down at anfield, came of at 2-1 against them at ibrox and also with goldson coming of wee absolutely crumbled, never played the last 2 champ league games and even the 3 nil defeat at celtic Park last season he cam when wee were 3 down and the game changed, the worst game wee have played this season with him in the side was the 2 -0 defeat to royale Union and even then he came of at 1 -0, I totally understand a lot of people's frustration with the amount of times he is injured an.

Craiggoo

1.) 08 Nov 2022 21:20:14
You bet we're a far better team when ryan jack is in our midfield ?Its sad he's got these injury issues because without a doubt we badly miss jacko ?.

2.) 08 Nov 2022 21:39:48
It really is sad sir Walter, I think it will end up being a look back on his career and saying a lot of what ifs, people might laugh but I honestly believe on his game he can be as influential to the side as barry f was to the his side when he played, I no a few might chuckle at that on here but that's how much a rate a fit ryan jack but it's a shame wee don't c that very often.

3.) 08 Nov 2022 21:50:40
Jack played in 5 of the 6 cl games twice as a sub he didn’t make a difference in any other than a good first half against liverpool.

4.) 08 Nov 2022 22:12:05
He only came on because he was not fit enough to start. Goodness sake waken up

Let’s give him a new three year deal when this one expires.

5.) 08 Nov 2022 23:17:45
If Jack could stay fit he would be first pick each week but so would roofe if he was fit same again tho there never fit enough to go on a run sadly.

6.) 09 Nov 2022 06:23:07
John who mentioned a three year contract no me, Jack played in 4 cl games bassey no 5 people totally missing my point there as people always seem to do on this site, I wasn't saying wee were playing great when he was in the side I was saying at no time this season have wee took a pumping while ryan jack has been on the park because he offers something different and a bit more fight, yes the guy probably is finished but I am highlighting wee need him or someone of the stature to improve our side and give us dig.

7.) 09 Nov 2022 07:24:39
craig op i did. that’s what’s it been like with the love inn
most want rid roofe helander souttar why not jack.

we have to move on

now some want devein as a replacement.

8.) 09 Nov 2022 08:17:40
I’ve been Jacks biggest advocate on his day he was one of the best midfielders in Scotland
but unfortunately injuries has caught up with him and he’s not the player he once was and therefore I’m with John on this one
He has to be moved on all players with these terrible injury problems have to be moved on and give our club a chance of replacing them with fit young talent
Otherwise the mess we’re in isn’t going to get any better.

9.) 09 Nov 2022 08:27:48
Isn't it more important to get to the bottom of why we are getting all these injuries, something is very wrong at Auchenhowie in my opinion.

10.) 09 Nov 2022 08:34:44
Irvger fair to say, Jack roofe Souttar Ramsey helander arrived with injury.

Others like Tav Morelos, overplayed imo

Goldson hagi, it happens, studying epl indicates we r seeing far more muscle injury due to players playing too many games.
Players no longer get a summer to let body recover.

06 Nov 2022 14:05:52
I don't no about anyone else take on the corner situation in our team but I think every time wee get one it's a waste of time wee never try anything different the opposition defenders deal with them so easily, you would like to think after 19 outswinging corners and doing virtually nothing with them and desperately needing a goal they might mix it up and try an inswinging one but no let's just do the same sh##e, it's so lazy and predictable it's a shambles and before any one comes out with our goal came from a corner am no buying it and our set plays are still a disgrace.

Craiggoo

1.) 06 Nov 2022 14:39:44
Yes the goal came from a corner but the second ball from that corner we never won one of the first balls and I can’t remember when we have.

2.) 06 Nov 2022 15:53:07
Craig good u r correct, more than two players should be able to take a corner, cheese oh when did we last have a winger take a corner.

07 Sep 2022 21:58:45
Just want to ask a random question does anyone know of anyone or any club that has tried zonal marking that has actually worked or been a success for them?

Craiggoo

1.) 07 Sep 2022 22:45:48
Not one, zonal marking is crap. Get a man stick to him like glue and do anything you can to stop him getting the ball. I played as a youth to a decent standard at full back and my manager went mental if i ever let a winger get a cross into the box, borna gives his man at least 10 yards of space and never blocks a cross ever, school boy stuff.

2.) 07 Sep 2022 23:42:21
Zonal marking statistically is apparently proven to be better than man for man. It takes a lot of time and work on training ground and it’s suited to players who want to attack the ball and not focus on player your marking. I don’t think we have defenders suited to zonal as teams are getting a run and jump on us as our players are static and not the most physical or tallest.

3.) 08 sep 2022 02:18:10
if you want to spend 5 years inbibibing it into your entire club then no.

4.) 08 Sep 2022 05:08:51
Forget zonal marking and get back to marking your opponent and that's it!

5.) 08 Sep 2022 08:47:29
Agree Walter, I've never rated zonal marking.

Fulham are my English side and I can categorically tell you scott parker is an extremely boring and negative manager and for the love of me I cannot c him being an upgrade on gio plus he has fell our with boards at Bournemouth and fulham for not being backed more financially so to me he should be a complete non starter.

Queensloyal are you of your nut a pub player, aye he makes the occasional mistake passing slack sometimes but his communication is superb, since he has been here he has partnered, mccauley, Katic, worrel, edmundson, helander, balogun, Simpson, bassey, and he hardly ever looks shakey no matter how many times his partner is changed, he always brings the best out of whoever is playing alongside him as well, he missed the sparta Prague game away earlier this season and wee played bassey and balogun and they were howling all over the place no balance or communication, I will tell you people like u will realise when he is no longer there.
