Ayling at Leeds?

1.) 20 Jan 2020 10:47:28
yes he is - good knowledge.

2.) 20 Jan 2020 11:24:58
Still there.

3.) 20 Jan 2020 17:13:32
Would cost too much.

09 Jan 2020 19:29:47
Think Spurs are looking at Alfie now Harry is out of the picture?
April return from that is being optimistic.

1.) 09 Jan 2020 23:22:12
Just spent 28mill on piatek, so doubt it very much.

2.) 10 Jan 2020 10:08:44
morelos would notmake tottenham bench for chist sake.

3.) 10 Jan 2020 10:35:21
bigkenny who you kidding, yourelf more likely, you sound like another alfie hater.

4.) 10 Jan 2020 10:36:13
Bigkenny harry rednapp reckons the opposite thinks he would "set the place alight" not many forwards like morelos in England's top flight. I personally think he should spend another season with us. Test himself in champions league with us next season when we win the league. Unless lennon is harry potter in disguise then the league is there for us this season.

5.) 10 Jan 2020 11:53:29
Someone on here said the other day that he was too good for spurs. We all love fredo but I agree with big kenny, would be lucky to make their bench. 👍.

6.) 10 Jan 2020 12:03:33
Aye alfredo morelos would make the spurs bench ok truebluesotrue. I've no doubt whatsoever, that morelos and if he keeps on improving, can play with most top clubs in the bigger and best leagues! Watch and see when he leaves us. Just can't believe how some of our own supporters are so negative, about how good alfredo actually is! Enjoy the talented striker we currently have playing for us, because he won't be hear in the near future. The guy is a quality class act of a striker, give him some credit . there's enough of everyone else outside rangers having an unfair pop at alfredo Continually,
without a minority of our own supporters also doing it!

7.) 10 Jan 2020 12:30:14
I agree with you Supercoop. Morelos would cause havoc in English Premiership defences. VAR would be working overtime! Fellow Bears, stop knocking Morelos, he is class.

8.) 10 Jan 2020 13:28:42
No one is knocking fredo, its being realistic. He would find it very hard to get in a spurs squad who have son moura kane etc as their strikers. I know kane is injured just now but get real for minute. This is last season's champs league finalists and you have people suggesting he'd walk into their squad and cause havoc in the epl. Vardy is the top scorer averaging a goal everyone 101 mins, fredo would be nowhere near that rate down there. Vardy is on a different planet to morelos. let's keep it real lads👍.

9.) 10 Jan 2020 13:33:12
SGL wish I could hit the 'agree' button on your post more than once mate.

10.) 10 Jan 2020 13:38:00
I agree SGL/ Doiger, I made a comment about Alfredo bashing on here about a week ago and was shot down tbh. I genuinely believe it exists and I really don't get it. While I don't think he is too good for Spurs, I also don't think Spurs are too big for him. I just pray its not this month .

11.) 10 Jan 2020 15:24:55
Big English sides in general much prefer to buy foreiners or championship players. The fact that the majority are dross in the Prem, doesn't seem to register with them. For every one that succeeds, how many are abject failures.
This plays into our hands in that Alf will stay to lead line.

12.) 10 Jan 2020 15:38:58
Kenny's not an Alfie hater! He's just got us an £11.5mil deal from Blackburn 🤣.

12 May 2018 10:08:37
I have just heard a medical scheduled for last Wednesday was cancelled either Hutton, McGregor or both
Source very close to one of the players involved.

1.) 12 May 2018 11:52:34
Heard of who?

2.) 12 may 2018 13:35:09
100% mcgregor

3.) 12 May 2018 13:36:54
So he's close to one of them but doesn't know who's medical it is but decides to tell u anyway?

4.) 12 May 2018 15:22:18
He’s talking rubbish. It could only be Shagger, Hutton was with Villa for the Millwall game the following day.

5.) 12 May 2018 15:48:30
Frustrated blue I was thinking the exact same

6.) 12 May 2018 18:30:31
A heard mcgregor has recieved his letter whatever that is for for his move to rangers someone who is friends with him and his agent think greggs is a done deal

7.) 13 May 2018 09:39:50
frustrated Blue and others he obviously felt he had said enough and wasn't inclined to tell me more -doesn't mean he doesn't know.

25 Mar 2017 10:10:06
This is a serious question:

Ferguson, Brown and Rae; i have nothing to recommend them for coaching roles and the majority of posts here seem to think being an ex-Rangers man is not real recommendation. What role would any of these three guys fill that would justify a big wage?

I know they are leaders but I would rather see a modern leader emerge.

1.) 25 Mar 2017 11:51:32
Barry Ferguson was a tremendous footballer, was an inspirational leader and has Rangers at heart.

So, if he can help improve players by passing on advise and techniques that improved him as a player, get the respect of the squad like he did from his teammates when he was a player and has the best interests of our club at heart then there's no better candidate IMO.

2.) 25 Mar 2017 13:11:06
Barry has the potential to be that. The others don't for me.

3.) 25 Mar 2017 13:15:33
They won't be on a big wage so don't get yourself worried about that.

The manager wants him so that should be enough. He obviously sees a role there.

4.) 25 Mar 2017 16:00:53
we need to remember that brown was in charge of pretty succesful youth team at rangers its also been proved he has an eye for a player as it was him who scouted carlos cuellar i would put him top of my list if that's the rd we are going down

5.) 25 Mar 2017 17:35:09
I didn't think the role for a local guy was so much about coaching as a link with the players and knowledge of the league.

Pedro has his own coaching team so it is more about integration than coaching skills.

6.) 25 Mar 2017 18:15:09
I would never in my life slag or dismiss any of these guys who are pure Rangers men and had the privilege to play for the team that they and we love 💙

7.) 25 Mar 2017 19:02:32
Cuellar was spotted when we played against him in the eufa cup the season Walter smith came back.

8.) 25 Mar 2017 20:28:26
they still sent brown to scout him its a well known fact

9.) 26 Mar 2017 13:01:35
Colshygers is spot on! John bomber brown did scout carlos cuellar and after he first came to rangers attention, bomber continually watched and advised our club to sign him!

10.) 26 Mar 2017 13:02:05
Bears. I think the appointment of Brown Rae or Ferguson will be fantastic! WHO tho would be the best option? For me I would have Brown with Rae a very close 2nd. I really like Ferguson but think the others have more experience AND both would command instant respect and would be good at being able to put an arm around a players shoulder when needed, but also would be able to let a player know when they need to pull their finger out and recognise who they are playing for!

For me I think Fergie is still too young and players may not look or listen ti him in the same way. BUT I would not be disappointed if he did get it, I think Rae will get it due to his past roles but I love Brown and if he doesn't get it. I would like to see him at Ibrox in some capacity I think Brown could get an extra few percent from the players from just being around them.

11.) 26 Mar 2017 15:54:25
Are you trying to tell us Alex Rae (uncapped, played 34 games for Rangers, won one league title) would command more respect in the dressing room than Barry Ferguson (45 caps, almost 300 games for Rangers, multiple honours, MBE)?

12.) 27 Mar 2017 16:05:29
John Brown is an embarrassment and shouldn't even be allowed in ibrox. Let him stand on the stairs.

{Ed033's Note - and let him eat cake 😋

13 Mar 2017 10:36:35
Is Pedro, Pedro's pal or his agent?
I did not see mention of this connection in any of the Scottish papers or radio in the weeks leading up to his appointment. Wouldn't a decent journalist not have found this out and had a guess at who the new manager might be?

1.) 13 Mar 2017 11:13:36
Pedro Mendes is his agent apparently.

2.) 13 Mar 2017 13:07:49
Deeb this is a positive thing having mendes as his agent so no scottish paper would have published this only thing they want is negative stories about our club and manager

3.) 13 Mar 2017 14:40:44
That would have actually taken some effort and decent investigative journalism. Not the usual sensationalist lazy crap we have in our rags!

McGregor has retired, Alfie has been sold for a big but believable sum of money.

What does our team look like? Who have we brought in and who is still there? SG still the manager.

1.) 31 Dec 2019 10:51:33
Iv'e just woke up DEEB, have I been in a comma afte my celebriting our great win it the piggery.

2.) 31 Dec 2019 12:04:15
Thank you Ed and contributed for educating, advising and entertaining me this year. Appreciated. Onwards Gets, the league could very well be ours! Happy New Year to all!

{Ed001's Note - very welcome Sir! Have a Happy New Year.}

08 Nov 2019 16:11:31
Morelos goes for an acceptable sum- does any replacement spring to mind?

1.) 08 Nov 2019 17:26:07

2.) 08 Nov 2019 17:45:59
Woudnt fit our system lol.

3.) 08 Nov 2019 18:24:37
Ricky van woswinkel? Out of contract in the summer? Wilfred bony? I think Morelos will stay till the summer, after helping us win the league!

4.) 08 Nov 2019 18:48:13
Some one mentioned b4 some big russian lad? Also please nobody mention shankland.

5.) 08 Nov 2019 19:12:49
Did we not play Vladikavkaz on a neutral ground. Sure we won 10-1 or something.

6.) 08 Nov 2019 19:45:04
the problem is to do the same as we did with morelos it would have to be someone we don't know about, ie who knew about him before he came. if is a player we all know about he will be too much money.

7.) 08 Nov 2019 20:47:52
Lewandowski watches fredo training videos for pointers 😎.

8.) 08 Nov 2019 21:26:27

21 Oct 2019 16:00:31

You said we should have taken the 8mill from Newcastle I said we had missed the boat on that one you said we hadn't
What did you mean?

1.) 21 Oct 2019 16:05:29
Then I mentioned the chinese team deeb, I was being sarcastic because people had him worth more than tierney, wan bissaka etc. 👍.

21 Oct 2019 13:47:51

Could we have a poll on how much the Bears think we could get for Tav?

Coldo reckons 8 million, I don't think we would get 1 million.

Shut one of us up on this matter.

{Ed033's Note -

Tav Price Poll

1.) 21 Oct 2019 14:36:48
Coldo doesn't think that at all deeb, where did you get that idea? I said newcastle were supposed to be bidding 8mil. I said we should take it. Not once did I say he was worth 8mil. I guess that shuts you up🤷‍♂️👍.

2.) 21 Oct 2019 15:23:17
Coldo is not one of the prolific posters on this site who has started £8m+ for Tav. As I’ve said already, the people on here continually saying he was the best RB in Britain worth Double Figure millions or should have been signed by Man U instead of WB.

3.) 21 Oct 2019 20:50:14
Give it a rest SRK! Your sounding like a broken down record now. I've explained what i said regarding how much i thought tav was worth and i can assure you and anyone else, it was nowhere near the £25million that you state! I said that going by the crazy transfer fees down in england that if wan bissaka was worth £50 odd million, was he 5 times the player tav was? Do the maths. I'll jog your memory and maybe the Ed can back me up here. I said when tav was playing well at the time that tav if he were to be sold, should be worth between £10-£12million! Not that he was better than wan bissaka! Hope this clears this up, now change the record, back the team, as we're all bears together, who i assume want the same thing for the famous glasgow rangers!

4.) 21 Oct 2019 22:01:53
No record to change coops, you didn’t state he was a £25m player but I promise you at least one person did.

You did make reference to Man U should have looked at Tav instead of WB because in your opinion Tav was the best right back in Britain. Hopefully now you can see why no EPL team would take him and certainly not for the cash we expected.

Again we had multiple people stating we should get more than Celtic did for Teirney.

This was a go at any one person but a general question of where are all the Tav lovers who made ridiculous statements all summer about an average player?

5.) 21 Oct 2019 22:30:55
Again i'm telling you that i didn't say tav was the best RB in britain and again i'm saying that the ED can confirm this and put your wrong statement regarding this, to bed and there is a record to change, YOURS!
You've stated your case with repetitive posts now. Give it a rest and move on now!

6.) 21 Oct 2019 22:45:15
20 Jun 2019 05:26:25
Manchester United have agreed to pay a record £55million transfer fee for a right back. They've agreed to pay crystal palace £55million for their right back aaron wan-bissaka, who incidentally is a very good right back. But they could have got the best right back in scotland, our very own james tavernier, for a fraction of the cost. They could have got tav for anything between £10-£12million. Tav is a better right back than wan-bissaka

Okay, you said he was the best in Scotland but the last statement honestly has me laughing out loud. Hopefully this clears things up for you coops.

Better than WB, as somebody did reply at the time, well done comedy gold.

7.) 22 Oct 2019 12:07:00
I'm still saying tav is the best right back in scotland, who's suffering a loss of form simple as that SRK. I didn't say tav was better than wan bissaka, but yes going on transfer fee values, i did say that man utd could have got tav for the fee i stated and so they could have, so what's your gripe here pal?

Anyone see the BBC Scotland report last night?
Is it me or are they getting worse with their religious / football / anti Rangers / pro Celtic bias?

When I saw him do it I knew the anti-rangers brigade would be all over him.

My father, dead a while now, said the same and that there was a time the Board considered changing the name to Edinburgh City in 1940's -50's.

Dundee Harp / Hibernian -later United also had a significant role in polarizing the football public.
