I’m still of them opinion Gio will be our next manager I’ve no proof of that it’s just my thoughts on it but he will not be in the dugout on Sunday again just my thoughts, I see him in the stand but this happens often when the new manager is in place just a few days before a game but are in the stand, I’ve looked through all the posts over the last few days and I think we just need to give the board the time they need to get the new manager in place it takes time contracts to deal with back room staff budget there are loads of things to iron out but I’ll be very happy with Gio stay calm.

If Gio is to be our next manager, it will take time as his No 2 continues to be contracted to the Chinese club. People on here say that Numan would be great, if this is true, he is contracted to the Dutch Club as Chief Scout. Just 2 examples of why it could take a long time.

Heard it but only through the papers so wouldn't bet on it being 100 percent factual. It gets on my goat nowadays how these agents are agreeing terms with clubs before a fee has been agreed. I'm assuming they will have had to have been given permission by rangers to talk, but in my opinion you shouldn't be allowed to until fee is agreed. Makes it easier to turn a players head.

There is a loophole in the football legislation regarding this, the player isn't allowed to speak to another club until the fee has been agreed, but the agent can speak to any club and negotiate.

If 10m is the figure its a disgrace and frankly an embarrassment of a deal! Buff's all round game increased last season and for me his stock rose it did not fall. His link play was immense and contribution at times was exceptional. If Porto want him or anyone else, you don't accept less otherwise why do they want him. He bullied Portos defense for fun!

I think taking all things into account regarding the full alfredo package, then he most definitely is worth £15million and with add ons we should be getting close to that £20million mark 🤔
Also mate i rate glen kamara highly but he's not a £20million midfielder for me, i reckon around £12million and rangers would accept that for kamara. there's rangers supporters on here saying kamara is world class, well certainly nowhere near world class for me, he's certainly international class.

How can u say kamara isn’t world class coops? Anytime he’s performed on the European stage he’s been in the top 3 on the park every time. Playing in the euros he was the best player on the park in each of the 3 games he played. So anytime he’s performed at the top level he’s exceeded expectations. His stats at the euros put him top of all players for most imterseptions in the group stage. Top stats motm performances etc. That would make him the best in that position. World class coops, is when you’re one of the best at what u do in you’re position in the world. I think kamara is one of the best at what he does mate. I think the squad should be constantly refreshing every year and only exceptional players should be here longer than 3-4 years. At the moment Butland and Sterling are the only ones in that bracket for me. I'm not including youth players coming through as we seem to sell on anyone that makes an impact.

Where are the young Scottish players? Only one Scot started yesterday's game with a couple on the bench. Surely it's time to give young home-grown players a chance instead of these has-beens and rejects from here, there and everywhere. We need players who will passionately play for the jersey. If lose to teams like Motherwell and Ross County, with all respect to them, then we've no chance of winning the league. Having said all that, something has gone wrong in recent games as we did have a great run to close the gap on Celtic. Yet another summer rebuild required. Very disappointed this morning.

Our Scouting of young players like our Scouting in general has been abysmal for years. Historically we just went out and bought the best young Scottish talent available but that has gone by the wayside and in terms of the more recent past McCoist must take his share of the blame for when he was manager.
The Club doesn't function as it should. We are failing to bring in quality young players, (not just from Scotland), and we are failing to attract the quality players that a club with a support of our size should do.
If things don't change at Board level we will continue to be second best or worse.

McCausland gets a brief run in the team, and shows promise, and then is dumped on the bench at best. Had he played yesterday he at least would have given his all.

McCausland is injured the now to be fair.
Rice, King, Yfeko, Lowry, Devine, Lovelace, McKinnon all showed promise but we are stuck playing Dessers, Borna, Wright, Goldson etc
I suppose the issue is that if PC plays the young guys and gets beat then the fans will be on his back. Especially since we are so close to winning the title. Maybe not worth the risk just now.
Players like Barron and Watson and Miller should be bought though.

Strange how Celtic can be successful with a mix of overseas players and the odd home grown player whereas we seem to be incapable on both counts. Perhaps things will change now that we have a new Chairman, CEO, DoF and Scouting network and the previous lot have all gone.
Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure, we need to significantly increase the quality of player signed and we need to stop signing serial losers.
What has gone wrong, well perhaps we have just been lucky because the writing has been on the wall defensively all season and no one is really surprised that our main striker misses more than he scores!

Davie I wouldn't give pass marks to any outfield player in rhe first half. We were very very poor.
To me we need ridvan back and Sterling in the midfield.
I think PC needs to find a position for Sterling and stick to it. He is not a left back and I know he was signed as a right back but I think he'd be better in the midfield.
Match them up with a 433 and we will not lose the midfield battle.
Just my opinion.

Odregard at Arsenal is a prime example of good man management by Mikel Arteta, he invariably gets subbed most games to allow a b]change in approach, even when he is playing well, we don't change some things early enough, our Manager now will not hesitate to change things when needed, the loyalty tag is disappearing which is a good thing.

Ramsey on loan until the end of the season would clinch the league title for us, provided that Juventus pay most of his wages. He is a top class midfielder, better than anyone playing in the Scottish Premiership at the moment. A midfield with Ramsey, Aribo and Davis would be terrific. You never know!

It's all about budgets these days craigs. Gone are the days when we could splash out £10 million for one player. Strength in depth is important as is being demonstrated with the injuries to Jack and Aribo in particular. I wish we had kept Docherty and/ or McCrorie though as either of them could have been a decent squad player. Also, I still say signing Shankland would bolster our attacking options, especially should Morelos go to Lille during this window.

Jack, Aribo, Hagi, Kamara, Davis, Arfield. They are all very good midfielders much better than Ferguson or anyone else in Scotland in my opinion. We seem to have the best defence for years and it is iron curtain defences that win titles. No point scoring 4 and conceding 3. Get Morelos sorted one way or the other and give Itten and Roofe a chance. By Christmas, we may well be out of sight (ahead, I mean lol) .
