With King pretty much confirming Stevie will add another 2, I think it's going to be a centre half and a striker, my guess is Beevers and Solanke, if it is solanke tho it will be on loan and I'd rather us actually buy someone and put them on a contact so we can get a nice wee profit only problem is who at the right age, ability etc is realistically availing?

FleetwoodBear

1.) 24 Jul 2018 22:11:18
Can't see us getting solanke think he's part of klopps plans.

2.) 24 Jul 2018 22:16:47
It won't be either, FleetwoodBear. Beevers is rank rotten and is about three stone overweight and Solanke wants to stay and fight for a place at anfield.

3.) 25 Jul 2018 01:27:53
Solanke will not come to Scotland, he said this himself. i don't know why people on here think differently.

There is a rumour doing the rounds down here in Fleetwood that rangers could be in for gretar steinnson for DOF role, he works in a similar capacity at Fleetwood Town at the moment

Why do some of our fans not keep up to speed with what is happening at our football club? Smodge81, for your benefit mate, pedro caixinha is the new glasgow rangers manager / head coach! Where have you been that you haven't heard this?

Instead of all the negativity before he's even through the door I'm feeling pretty positive about the whole thing. I've seen posts about him not being loyal etc, I see it as when he was here he got it and fell head over heels for our club to the point where it seems we are the only club he'd leave QPR for seeming as he turned down Wolves recently, someone who knows what it's all about and wants to be at the club makes a big difference . He's a young exciting coach who everyone involved in the game speaks as highly as anyone . I also think if Beale is appointed then positive talks with the board regarding transfers etc have taken place because one thing I don't think he'd do is leave QPR if he didn't think he'd be properly backed. It may work or it may not but then again isn't that the same for any appointment? Let's get behind him it could be a very shroud bit of buisness.

FleetwoodBear

1.) 25 Nov 2022 09:40:34
I’d doubt we are the only club Beale would leave qpr for.

2.) 25 Nov 2022 12:45:23
The players will be glad to see him back.

Right today has been a bad day fellow bears but we need to pick ourselves up from the boardroom right down to the fans and for the remainder of this season show why we are Scotlands best . On the transfer front Doheki will be announced before the window closes unsure whether we want him in early but with the money Vitesse want it's unlikely so looks like a pre contract, another striker is also being lined up again unsure as to what terms loan or permanent we shall see and Mcatee is also a concrete target hearing on an 18 month loan . Hope to see a few outgoings as well with the club looking to offload Lundstram, Barker and Simpson . Interesting, nerve wrecking, horrible, exciting 7 days coming up people but we wouldn't have it any other way would we 😉.

1.) 29 Jan 2022 23:36:23
Exactly Fleetwood calm heads needed, big month coming up but if we play well I’m confident we will be ok.

2.) 30 Jan 2022 00:51:30
I think we will lift our game for Wednesday hope I’m wrong but think our defence frailties will let us down.

3.) 30 Jan 2022 02:20:14
We need the leaders to lift this team. Then across the city seem to be right up for the battle Wednesday will tell us so much about the character of our guys. Goldson Tav greegs Davis Jack need to be demanding in training. And come Wednesday night Kent aribo roofe need to fire us to 3 points.

4.) 30 Jan 2022 08:54:11
If we had Morelos leading the line on Wednesday I would be more confident.

The suspense is driving me mad, alsorts going through my head . If it is Gio why on earth hasn't he been announced already? Somethings starting to no sit right . Its probably me just being para but with the semi final on Sunday I'd of thought we'd have wanted things sorted. Candidates being interviewed who haven't been mentioned in the press, mystery planes landing it's all very cloak and daggers at the minute.

FleetwoodBear

1.) 17 Nov 2021 01:08:57
If this is driving you mad mate you need to see someone, it’s football, and it’s only been a few days since the previous manager bolted, do you really think interviews, detail, and multi million quid contracts for a entire management team take quite some time and nowada Many different factions are involved in jobs such as this, and Rangers might not have decided who is best for the job yet

I for one am happy to wait,

2.) 17 Nov 2021 06:38:21
It didn't take Villa that long to finalise then announce their new manager.

3.) 17 Nov 2021 07:25:39
If it’s no sitting right fleetwood . adjust yer trousers.

4.) 17 Nov 2021 08:18:24
Big difference Baxterboy.
Villa - Hello Mr Gerrard, how does £5 million a year, the chance to manage in the EPL and a huge transfer budget sound?
Gerrard - where do I sign?
Rangers - Hello Hello Gio. How does the opportunity to manage in the SPFL sound where you will be judged on how well you compete against Celtic, St Mirren etc and we'll discount any European exploits you manage because it's all about trophy count for some?
Gio - what's my wages, transfer budget, your vision for the club?
Rangers - don't worry about all that, just sign here and we'll worry about that when you arrive. Plus you'll be able to keep the fans onside by blaming Gerrard, Tav and Morelos for the foreseeable future. 🤣🤣🤣.

5.) 17 Nov 2021 12:18:15
It’s all about trophy count for everyone.

Im not using today's pitch as an excuse as Livingston were fantastic today and thourgoully deserved their win and we beat Kilmarnock at Rugby park with a plastic pitch but these surfaces have got to be banned from the top league in Scotland . Murphy's injury was down to slipping awkwardly on it and watching the game on telly today it looked awful . So many extra eyes will be on Scottish football this season with Stevie coming in and the SFA have got to want to show the watching world that our league isn't a joke, I know there are other countries that allow them but that don't mean the SFA have to follow suit . As for today well it was what is was TERRIBLE, next week is a massive game now as we simply can't afford to get beat and end up 11 points behind Hearts, big week for Stevie to pick the boys up and get the Livingston game out mentality and take it out on the league leaders next week.

FleetwoodBear

1.) 30 Sep 2018 20:36:23
Worrall consistently poor and needs dropped. The pitch is unfit for professional football and the SFA and SPL guilty of endangering player health by allowing it. Further they are also guilty of fraud as it deprives spectators of the standard of performance they are entitled to expect.
Livi were, however, worth their win! .
Stevie G needs to recognise that the league is our top priority and play our strongest team week in week out. In danger of being dubbed the Scottish Tinkerman!

2.) 30 Sep 2018 20:37:13
The performance was nothing to do with the surface it was a truly awful display I honestly can’t remember so many players playing so bad. Their keeper didn’t have any real saves to make and their defence was so comfortable it was untrue. Albion Rovers would have given them a harder game. Shameful performance.

Stevies presser for the Livingston game along side Katic was his best to date . He dealt with it beautifully, the questions about Hampden etc were met with brilliance, he's grown into this role so well both on and off the pitch . He handles the clueless media up here really well even tellin someone what unique meant after stupid already answered question after question, I was really happy when we appointed him just for the name and the attention it bought back to our club but that happiness has turned into pride . He'll win us 55 before he goes and when he does inevitably leave to take over at Liverpool he'll leave us a legend as the man who bought Rangers back to life . Just loOK at Europe alone, we r back playing in regular big European nights having to qualify from the first qualifying round, I for one didn't think we had a cat in hell's chance but we made it and that's down to Mr G in a shirt space of time soaking up the size, history and expectations of Rangers so so well and installing it into not only the players he's signed but average players who were here last year who this season look like different players, I think Halliday has been superb this season . Every thing is starting to click it really is so who cares if someone doesn't think Morelos should be here etc etc the only person who's opinions matter r that of the manager and so far pretry much everything he has done has been great . There's no need to be on here like some greetin little tim ( they've got reason to greet, because all they've done in beating the sheep is papered over a crack or 2, rubbish again by all accounts) let's get behind this and bring home 55 🔵⚪🔴🔴⚪🔵.

Great post FB, so far so good and at last pride and expectation starting to replace hope. Looking forward to tomorrow’s match.

2.) 29 Sep 2018 22:45:39
Just watched it Fleetwood, the man is class and is a born leader, who was that banger asking the first few questions? Livvy tomorrow and hopefully a win!

3.) 30 Sep 2018 08:16:40
The manager is a class act but not only that he is a very smart man who has taken the incredibly different role like a duck to water. He has transformed the whole place and though there will be bumps in the road along the way, he has my full backing at all times. As you say Fleetwood, he gets what the club and the fans are about and when he does eventually (or inevotably) move on
to Liverpool Let's hope he's won us cups and championships beforehand. I wasn't much fussed about Liverpool tbh but now want them to win everything just so they hold on to Klopp for as long as possible.

4.) 30 Sep 2018 18:23:17
Gerrard - it's a unique situation.
Press person - have you ever been in this unique situation before?
Gerrard - by the meaning of the word unique, NO! 😂😂😂
Total class. He has the measure of the gutter press up here already👍.

Jesus christ, look how well things are going right now and the direction the club as a whole is moving and we have people arguing about Morelos, THE BOY HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE WORLD CLASS, JUST GOT HIS FIRST CALL UP FOR COLOMBIA, ALTHOUGH HE'S GOT A TEMPER HE IS STILL RIGHT NOW A CRACKING WEE PLAYER WHO GIVES DEFENDERS HELL AND CHIP'S IN WITH GOALS, all above are facts we won't get a replacement within our budget for Morelos his whole demeanor has changed since Stevie took charge and with him just signing a new contact a good 2/ 3 years proper nuturing and the wee man could be worth big big bucks the way the game is going, Aye Dembele was a good player but look at his career kicking around at Fulham as a kid and then plying his trade in the same league that Alfredo is now. Forget focusing on the bad points in his game because there a a hell of a lot more pro's than con's and he could be a huge asset for us down the line.

If he does manage to stay fit and get some game time Jordan Rossiter could be a huge player for us . Trust me there's a very very good player in there just waiting to get unleashed.

6counties r u pished mate? Or someone with green specs on intruding because I find it hard to belive any rangers fan would honestly want to see us get rid of Alfredo for Darren Bent, ridiculous statement to make.

I've never known a club to have this kind of bad luck rgearing new signings and injurys even from the days of Daniel Prodan.

The club haven't let a word slip all window until something concrete is happening. I'm feeling optimistic a striker will be arriving tomorrow, its obvious to see one is needed and I'm sure Big Phil and the club are all over it and will sign off with another signing before the window slams shut.

I think Devine should start ahead of Borna on recent performances, Devine hasn't put a foot wrong when played whilst Barasic not for the first time was utter mince again today.

Lumie quite right bud, not intrested in ANY national side tbh my only concern is Rangers and if players pulling out of playing for their national side means they are fitter and fresher for us then so be it.

Richmar 100 % Agree mate, was dissapointed that he was allowed to go on loan but the experience playing in League 1 which is a very tough league in terms of ability and physicality will do him the world of good and he'll come back and be a very important player for us.
