Seen someone on X share a pic of the SFA player registration site which includes the name Oscar Cortes and Tommy Conway. Cortes obviously a done deal but am I right in saying Tommy Conway would be on there as he's an U21 international or would he have to be a domestic player and therefore signed by a Scottish side?

I’m not really supposed to be wanting a LB this window with what’s needed up front, but I tried to watch of Smal as I could possibly find and after looking I was sold tbh. What a great ball this guy has on him- honestly superb. I’m very surprised tho PSV or whoever haven’t gone for this guy. Really surprised.
Extremely talented player, and would give us the correct balance, we’d be very dangerous from the left. But because this guy does create a lot of chances from LB, it would then become even more important to get a goalscorer. This is one I want it improves our starting 11 big time.

we have had 3 very good LB's over the years, Barisic, Bassey (even though he was moved to CB), Yilmaz.
Smal will join on a free pre contract no doubt either done or being finalised.
Deals are also being kept on the low down to keep the other mob cluless, less they know less they try and out do us with deals of there own, there latest signing is a dud lmfao.
Were are already levels ahead of them with the Silva and Diomande deals.
Silva will now move to LW to fill the void left by Sima being out.
We will be bringing a CF in now my bet is it's Batsman, can do a job for us and has European experience, fits Clements style of play, if he wants to increase his chances of being a regular pick in the Belgian international squad with the Euro 2024 coming up, he will need regular 1st team games, where better for that to happen than at rangers, where he has 3 competions to get the goals that increase his chances, and of course Koppen, Clement, Van der Heyden are all Belgian, and Both Raskin and Dessers speak fluent Belgian.
It's a no brainer troops.
Expect a late announcment of this deal, remiander of season loan, then we get him for free in the summer, if the 1 year extension is activated, we buy him for a cut down price 2-3 mill.

Not true. Diomande played in the Conference and can play for us in the Europa. Batsuayi, Manhoef, Diomande and Smal would be a miracle window. So not happening.

I manage my expectations high Stevie. LB has been a problematic area for years. Barasic is absolutely woeful and couldn’t tackle a fish supper. Yilmaz is not much better with his positional play and his passing is diabolical. Sorry to say it but these two were never Rangers class. There lack of silverware is proof of that. I have full confidence in PC and Koppen and from what I have seen so far they will bring in a far higher standard of player to us. Quality over quantity ??.

Fair enough John good point mate, I wasn't fully aware of the Galatasaray v Besiktas rivalry was that opposed to signing each others home grown players, I don't follow Turkish football, Rangers and Ajax are my 2 favourite teams, there were some posts recently though saying Yilmaz was homesick, can't remember who exactly posted that info or if it was someone posting something they read or heard.
while we are on the subject of Yilmaz do you know the details of his contract and what the add ons were, i. e were we supposed to pay the extra money to Besiktas if he played ex amount of 1st team games in a certain time, curios if that is a possible reason why he was played less and left out of the europa sqaud this season.
makes sense if it would have cost us more money and we could have spent that money elsewhere.

Likely we will sign the LB from Vitesse instead now though as we can afford him but would have liked to sign a Scottish LB who always impressed me when he played here in the past and he will only have improved playing in Italy.
