seeing Flanagan has ran his contact down at Liverpool surely with the SG connection we stand a chance of nabbing him as he has got to be better at defending than our current fullbacks. thoughts?

cant see that happening. too much money on wages and was a city target last season. he's a premiership quality CB who won't come to the SPL.

his club avoided relegation and there was a clause in his contract which means he must now stay. if they were relegated he could have left for free. he said so himself after the rangers game on the last day.

Hondaintegra i couldn't agree with you more. i was very annoyed when the players left and said the things they said however i think every rangers fan looking back should now see that what they said was 100% correct and we were all annoyed they wanted to leave. i wouldn't stay and work for an employer in my job if that was the way they acted. after all they are human beings with families like us. i for one would welcome a lot of those players back as they are exactly what we need. quite simply put Lafferty/ Naismith or Pena/ Herrera no brainer for me

to be fair it was his first start in a very very long time and while i think Chris Sutton is a proper b3ll3nd i can't help but feel his comment during the game may be correct. did he ask JN and JJ to play him to see how he was. after the formation change i really thought he was one of our better players him and holt were doing well in the midfield and that tackle from scott allan was horrendous how the ref thought that wasnt a red i'll never know. give him a good pre-season use him as a sub for a few games and then he will be fine. i thought it was more the tackle that caused him to go off not his previous injuries.
