Arfield signs one year extension.

1.) 08 May 2022 13:25:42
Lowry signed until 2025 also. Both will serve us well next season.

19 Apr 2022 14:39:49

Approved for next season.
Financed by the Premiership club's on a sliding scale on where they finish for the season ( winners £195K, 12th place £67K ) .
Rumours one club voted against and this club was Celtic🤔.

1.) 19 Apr 2022 17:18:07
Was a championship club.

2.) 19 Apr 2022 17:36:37
Nope sky reporting it was a championship club probs killie.

3.) 19 Apr 2022 18:11:34
Try not be focused on them, it was Arbroath.

4.) 19 Apr 2022 19:10:56
Mph, was it really them that voted against, or are you at the wyned up mate?

5.) 19 Apr 2022 19:23:35
Heard a rumour, Amorelos.
And I do know for definite Celtic had concerns in the past.
I Can’t confirm it’s true and we’ve already had Killie and Arbroath mentioned in this thread.
That makes 3 teams for 1 vote against?

6.) 19 Apr 2022 19:29:08
Amorelos it was 100% Arbroath mate.

7.) 19 Apr 2022 20:54:08
Every club in prem voted for it. Heard various from stirling albion to dunfermline.

8.) 19 Apr 2022 21:42:17
Mph, cheers mate, john 25 thanks for clearing that up, good job var wasnt introduced this season, or we would have won the league, probably bye the xmas again. that's another crazy idea introducing it mid season, eh, at least we can plan ahead known we should be a good few points behind them, when var comes into the league.

9.) 19 Apr 2022 22:06:35
That’s a hell of a lot of money for var over a million a season could be done well cheaper than that the spfl would prob already have someone in mind they undersell out game as well.

10.) 20 Apr 2022 05:01:04
Crazy that teams like abroath get a say on premier league issues when are they ever likely to make top flight.

11.) 20 Apr 2022 06:09:19
Go for win their last two games they win league.

12.) 20 Apr 2022 06:39:01
It definitely wasn’t Celtic that was just a daft wee rumour made up 😂😂 was championship club not seen it confirmed but someone said likely to be Arbroath as they could get promoted and have to pay it next year and more than likely get relegated.

13.) 20 Apr 2022 08:53:51
It definitely wasnt Arbroath. Confirmed they voted yes yesterday. The hunt goes on!

14.) 20 Apr 2022 10:01:19
Were the votes sent in by email!

15.) 20 Apr 2022 11:47:31
More "ITKs" wrong again after Arbroath confirming they voted Yes.

16.) 20 Apr 2022 15:40:04
Spfl do confirm it’s a championship team,

17.) 21 Apr 2022 12:35:08
It's been confirmed it was Morton who voted no, 100% not Arbroath.

16 Feb 2022 12:14:30
Heart and Hand:-
According to club, rumours Lowry has turned down a new deal are 'rubbish'.

1.) 16 Feb 2022 12:48:28
I hope to god we can keep young alex lowry and get him tied down to a longterm contract🙏This young midfielder excites me with his talent and is something of a cross between barry ferguson and bobby russell👌.

2.) 16 Feb 2022 14:03:19
He’s a cross between alex lowry and alex lowry. Why is it as soon as a youth player breaks through he's compared to a legend 😂😂.

3.) 16 Feb 2022 14:35:23
On the eve of every single big game we play false rumours fly around regarding one or more of our players turning down contracts, asking for a transfer, coming down with sickness, you name it, and still we rise to the rancid bait.

4.) 16 Feb 2022 16:32:42
I get that it's a false rumour but didn't look happy in last interview to meand if the boy is smart I think he will leave if he does not get more game time we are holding this boy back at his age needs to be playing every week.

5.) 16 Feb 2022 16:39:08
Because i see traits in lowry that i seen in both ferguson and russell🤔
simple as that Irvblue99!Is there a problem posting that mate🤔.

6.) 16 Feb 2022 18:34:20
Correct sir walter.

7.) 16 Feb 2022 18:59:47
Irv I have to agree with you on this just let the boy be him instead of daft comparisons especially when he is nothing like one of those (BF)

8.) 16 Feb 2022 22:41:02
All about opinions. Lowry isn't Barry or Bobby. He is simply Lowry. If your good enough you play. If you don't play and get frustrated at not playing you move on. Hopefully he stays.

9.) 17 Feb 2022 05:31:31
Oh stormtrooper he is like baz the way he always seems to find pockets of space and time in the midfield area mate 🤔.

10.) 17 Feb 2022 09:23:45
Agree coops and Bobby Russell was a fantastic player. I actually think young Lowry has potential to be an outstanding player for us.

11.) 17 Feb 2022 14:23:15
If young Lowry turns out to be as good as Bobby Russell then we have got to make him an offer he can’t refuse. Bobby Russell was a class act.

12.) 17 Feb 2022 16:48:00
He's nothing like Barry ferguson imo.

13.) 17 Feb 2022 17:15:57
Correct, herewego, he's a totally different kind of player.

14.) 18 Feb 2022 18:14:28
Lowry is nothing like Ferguson or Russell, just ridiculous.

15.) 19 Feb 2022 11:08:00
IMO the lad Lowry is looking to be a special talent. For me he will emulate Patterson in the sense he will come into first team and make an impact then earn us decent money. Watching him play you see traits of other players that have been great. He carries the ball well, has great composure, vision and works hard. He looks sometimes as though he is already 2 or 3 passes ahead with his movement. We have had many like that but like all the stars before him he will find his own style which will probably have similarities to the likes of Ferguson, Thomson as Thomsonwas a coach and he probably grew up watching them. Same as they had similaritiesto there coaches and players they grew up watching. The only negative I can think of just now about him other than lack of experience which will come is for me he looks a bit lightweight but I'm sure that will develop as he gets older.

31 Jan 2022 18:12:00
Rangers have bid £300K for Souttar this window and it's a take it or leave it to Hearts as they won't go any higher ( source 4unOfficial ) .

1.) 31 Jan 2022 18:19:55
If Balogun and Helander are fit for the remainder of the season then I think it’s sensible business.

I think had we managed to get a fee for Simpson and moved him out we might have put in a final bid but seems unlikely now.

A lot of talk on here about another striker but with Morelos, Roofe, Sakala and Itten I can’t see us bringing in a 5th striker unless we can move on Itten.

Let’s see?

2.) 31 Jan 2022 18:38:57
BRW being reported on Clyde we have just had a bid rejected for Souttar this evening.

3.) 31 Jan 2022 18:42:15
Itten shouldn't be thought of as an option anymore as he's not good enough.

4.) 31 Jan 2022 18:53:18
Sweep I'm hoping for a striker before the window shuts, your right about itten.

5.) 31 Jan 2022 19:03:22
Yeah no sooner had I wrote my post I saw we put in another bid maybe we are pushing for this one to happen now.

6.) 31 Jan 2022 19:28:35
We can't get rid of itten lads, he's here till end of season now. Already had his 2 lbs this season.

14 Dec 2021 16:26:34
I know he's been mentioned in here before.
Danish Football on Twitter:-
Bologna are willing to sell Skov Olsen.
R. Sociedad, Rangers and Besiktas are some clubs that would potentially try and sign the young right-winger.

1.) 14 Dec 2021 17:44:14
Suppose to be class according to John so fingers crossed.

2.) 14 Dec 2021 17:52:57
Been impressed with this lad the times I have seen him play, and in a very good Danish national side too.

3.) 14 Dec 2021 18:08:13
Would definitely enhance our team.

4.) 14 Dec 2021 18:13:52
I would take that kid in a heart beat.

5.) 14 Dec 2021 18:16:50
This would be a remarkable signing if we could pull it off.

6.) 14 Dec 2021 18:17:40
Question - if he is so highly rated (and has been for some time) and already plays in Serie A, why has no-one else snapped him up?

7.) 14 Dec 2021 18:51:53
Robmc in fairness it was coops who first brought his name here not me.
Dk that is the conundrum, before he went to Italy he was a prolific goal scorer in danish league.
14 games for Denmark 7 goals and I think 5 assists
Very very fast and direct winger. An upgrade on barker hastie Jones et al, apparesalary around 20 k. So that would be same we pay barker and Middleton together.

8.) 14 Dec 2021 19:13:06
This would be class move if we can tho expect he'd cost a fair bit. Think we going to hear quite a few names like him and symonds as agents try and kick-start these boys careers.

9.) 14 Dec 2021 19:24:53
Would def be an upgrade if we could get him, I would have thought be out of league unfortunately as imagine English teams be in for him.

10.) 14 Dec 2021 19:54:21
If la liga is calling him he's not coming to scotland is he?

11.) 14 Dec 2021 20:09:20
Boy would be a good addition imo, 6 foot 2,tall for a winger and i think he would add something different, how much do we think he would cost?

12.) 14 Dec 2021 20:28:18
14 games 500 mins 1 assist 20k a week n prob 6 million plus to buy I’m not to sure on this one.

13.) 14 Dec 2021 20:49:04
I really like the look of this lad. Think he has all the ability needed to fit into our system and way of playing. He is young and could be developed into a better player. I have heard that Hagi will go in January with possibly 2 others.

14.) 14 Dec 2021 21:08:55
Dk 19 the boy has come our and said that the system as his club doesn't suit as the play a defensive game and don't use offensive midfield players.

15.) 15 Dec 2021 05:56:21
Skov Olsen is quality a lot of Danish players have went to italy and not settled before Bologna Barcelona and others were tracking him good coop if we get him.

16.) 15 Dec 2021 08:00:41
were we not chasing another Scandinavian wonderkid for years prior to this young lad - - is it another one of those on the wishlist?

17.) 15 Dec 2021 15:39:08
Wouldn't be 6million that's what Bologna paid and they were asking 5 million last year before a horrible season for the boy . I recon 4 or 4.5 would do it so offer 3 to start.

Well done to all the Rangers fans in Seville.
Credit to the club.

Police in Seville confirm just ONE person was arrested yesterday amongst the approx 160,000 here for the
V Eintracht Frankfurt final. That person was a German fan.

1.) 19 May 2022 18:15:36
There was a bit of trouble here and there but it wasn’t much for the amount of people there.

19 May 2022 15:04:16
Wee question for John25.
How did you find the facilities in the stadium?
Lot of reports on social media they were very poor?
No kiosks selling drink etc
People drinking straight from the taps in the toilets.
Lot of dehydrated fans ( I know a lot would have been drinking all day ) .
Police heavy handed on the way in removing a lot of objects ( though the Frankfurt fans smuggled in flares? ) .

1.) 19 May 2022 15:52:27
The stadium was nothing short of an absolute disgrace. No organisation whatsoever. A fan behind Rangers dugout collapsed had to be treated by our doctor.
Not allowed liquid into stadium. All kiosks we saw closed. Confiscate sun cream. Battery packe to charge phone etc. wanted my angina spray. I refused.

2.) 19 May 2022 16:26:45
Just back from Seville MPH and attended the game. Heres my personal experience

Seville as a place did quite well leading up to the game. Loads of taxi's available to get people about yesterday, the fanzone for fans with tickets was good location wise, plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops for carryouts and food. Portaloo's installed and was all well managed.

The handling of events at the stadium and post match was poor, mostly at the hands of the local police who seem eager to be awkward and confrontation. They had 4 entrances for the stadium A, B, C and D (A and B was for Frankfurt end, C and D was for Rangers end) . Lots of streets taking you into the stadium were blocked off by police and they would only allow you into that street if you had a ticket for the entrance that it would lead to. I had my tickets in the UEFA general sale area which for me was Entrance B (which was also marked as a designated Frankfurt entrance. The police would not allow me to enter at least 4 streets to the stadium due to being a Rangers fan, even though my ticket was in that area and i couldn't get access to the Rangers end because my ticket was in the other section. We ended up buying Europa league final t shirts from the merchandise stand so that the police would let us enter a street to our entrance.

To be fair, once we got to the entrance it was mixed with fans wearing Rangers and Frankfurt colours and the stewards didn't bat an eyelid but the police some several hundred yards further back up the street leading onto the stadium were causing so much bother by blocking the streets off with these reasons.

In the stadium they shut the kiosks when the match was starting, no soft drinks or water available for anyone despite it still being in the 30 degree bracket. Some of the kiosks that were open before the game only had 1 person serving and not all of them were even open. So there was a lot of queues and then people gave up thinking they could try again after KO, but once they closed that was it. Someone else mentioned they had shut off the drinking fountains as well but i never even saw any of those. Left people soaking themselves or drinking tap water from the toilet sinks.

After the game again the police were being awkward, not letting you walk certain ways (was trying to meet up with people in our group that had sat in different end of the stadium) and the worst thing for me was there was pretty much no taxi's available to get anywhere. We wandered about the centre to various taxi ranks, phoned and tried online to secure a taxi and even tried Uber but none were available. Taxi drivers had basically just vanished from the city centre when lots of us were trying to get back to the airport for flights. After 4 hours we eventually managed to get a local guy who was going to his work to drop us off at the airport for 50 euro lol. Thankfully my flight had been delayed 2 hours or we would have missed it.

They did very well with all the fans before the game but they put little to no effort into facilities at the stadium and then post match for transport etc, i don't think the game going to pens helped the situation as most people had ended their shift for the night.

Had my daughter with me so didn't really want to be hanging about the streets all through the night but we weren't the only ones so safety in numbers was a bit more re-assuring.

3.) 19 May 2022 16:40:52
And as John has said they were taking peoples battery chargers off them and smashing them into bins. They didn't take mine off me but the tried to take my insulin pen off me but when i told them i needed it as its vital medication they retracted that.

4.) 19 May 2022 17:12:14
Great info lads.

5.) 20 May 2022 02:18:57
Totally agree with what’s been said. Stadium a death trap on top of the nonsense with kiosks. Inevitably when we scored people fell forward. I grabbed my daughter just before an 18 stone local t*t behind her came tumbling by but he took out the guy next to her who got his leg trapped in between the seats and a few others. Awful awful stadium to hold a game like that, so unbefitting of the occasion. Sitting in Madrid airport, was talking to Frankfurt fan earlier who said they had none of this nonsense when they entered the stadium, barely searched…they had flares in the ground amongst other things but our fans are getting essential medication taken off them? The club needs to do something about this. Guy in front hurt his back before game so sat on the steps, seemed oblivious to the hundreds of fans charging down the stairs at half time, nearly caused a disaster as no one could see him til last minute, finally managed to get him to move. No stewards anywhere near us. Useless.

19 May 2022 13:40:42
Current Rangers squad.
Out of Contract in Summer:-
Goldson, Davis, Balogun, McGregor and Firth
1 Year left on deal:-
Katic, Arfield, Jack, Helander, McCrorie, Kent, Morelos and Aribo
2 years left on deal:-
Barisic, Tav, McLaughlin, Roofe, Lundstram, Itten, Hagi, Bassey
3 years left on deal:-
Kamara, Wright, Simpson, Zukowski, Sakala, Ofoborh
Loan returns:-
Ramsey, Diallo
Loan to buy:-
Huge rebuild needed if all "out of contract" group are allowed to leave.
And if we sell any of the "1 year left on deal" group.
Even in the "2 year left on deal" group, decisions will need to be made soon on offering extended deals.
It's the "3 years left on deal" group that gives me the fear! For a variety of reasons.
The only shining light is the crop of youngsters coming through.
We all have high hopes for Lowry, King and McCann. And any others that grab the opportunity to impress.

1.) 19 May 2022 14:06:21
It's only goldson and mcgregor who are regulars from the out of contract rest are bit part players. We will need a handful of players but not a huge rebuild. Can't see us selling all 3 of Kent, morelos and aribo.

2.) 19 May 2022 14:17:07
Let's get bassey tied down and build around him Tav Lundsrtum and Jack imo keeping Alfie and Aribo a must and reinvest cash from Kent and any1 we lose.

3.) 19 May 2022 14:26:50
Would want to extend Morelos and Kent although not sure how likely. If big offers come in it would be hard to keep them. Heart says extend Jack but we may need to be hard and let him go with injuries. Keep Arfield under review and would want mcrorrie to extend. Sell Katic, helander and Aribo. Sell Kamara, itten, wright and Roofe for whatever we can get. Aribo and Kamara alone should give funds for decent rebuild. What about hastie and Middleton? They must be punted too. Souttar coming in and Lowry, king and McCann plus Devine in first team squad. Need to get rid of injury prone players. Diallo might be worth another loan, not sure sands is up to it. Billy Gilmore year on loan would be a good addition. Reckon we need 5 or 6 quality first team players to come in, on top of player sales euro money should help support the funds required. Think budget of £25-£30m needed overall.

4.) 19 May 2022 14:33:30
And get rid of simpson.

5.) 19 May 2022 15:11:45
Don't blame you cooper for forgetting about simpson, he's the forgotton man in our squad, needs gone asap.

6.) 19 May 2022 15:17:14
One Walter issue Jack has played 3x 90 minutes not good enough and he is about to be involved with Scot for five games in June.
This is a real issue imo.

7.) 19 May 2022 15:20:21
Simpson katic itten all told they are free to find other clubs
As has Middleton Hastie.

8.) 19 May 2022 15:24:18
Mr PH, from our Out of Contract in Summer:-
Goldson, Davis, Balogun, McGregor and Firth, I would only offer a contract to McGregor and that is because I don't rate McLaughlin and don't see us securing a top quality replacement for McGregor. The others we have to replace with better younger players.
From those with only a year left, I am not sure about Katic, with Goldson going I do worry that we don't have a lot of great centre backs on our books!
Arfield and Jack, I would like to see both contracts extended.
Helander I would look to sell and maximise our fee. McCrorie is for me the best of the goalkeepers after McGregor but is he good enough to succeed him?
Kent I fear will go and we need to maximise the fee we receive.
Morelos and Aribo we must extend their contracts. We should be building a team around them and Lundsram / Bassey

I would look to sell Barisic, Itten, Kamara, Wright and Simpson to raise funds for a much needed rebuild.

Ramsey should never have been signed in the first place, a terrible signing that was not close to match fitness when he arrived and who cost us dearly last night.
Sands has a lot to prove if he is to be seen as a permanent signing.
Quite simply we need to bring in around 5 or 6 new players. All better than what we currently have and they need to be players that Gio wants not what Wilson finds as cheap options!

9.) 19 May 2022 16:07:48
We will sell a couple just nature of the beast. We don't need to raise funds tho our european campaign has done that.

10.) 19 May 2022 16:19:46
What has McLaughlin done for you to be unimpressed?

When given the opportunity he has done well imo.

11.) 19 May 2022 16:38:04
The big desire to keep the squad together last season leaves Gio a real mess for the summer. Will be huge decision to let some go for nothing again next year or cash in now. Could lose bulk of 1st team as well as need to get rid of squad players.

12.) 19 May 2022 17:32:11
DK, I am not disputing that Mclaughlin is a decent keeper but he is not, in my opinion, in the same class as McGregor or in keepers that I would rank with similar respect to McGregor, namely Goram, Woods, Klos and even Charbonier.

A top quality side needs a strong spine. That for me means having the best goalkeeper, the best Centre backs and the best striker in the league. Morelos fits the bill for striker and must be given a new contract, we need to replace Goldson with a better centre back and I would like to see us sign the West Brom goalkeeper as an example of the quality needed.

19 May 2022 10:33:52
Some statistics from last night's game where I believe we let ourselves down.
Only 9 out of 22 long balls accurate.
Possession lost - 20 times
Only 6 out of 13 ground duels won.
Pass accuracy - 66%
Only 1 out of 7 long balls accurate.
Possession lost - 28 times
Possession lost - 37 times
Pass accuracy - 55%
Only 2 out of 10 long balls accurate
Only 4 out of 15 long balls accurate
Possession lost - 20 times
Only 33 touches in 74 minutes.
Possession lost - 11 times
Only won 2 out of 6 ground duels
Only 30 touches in 90 minutes.
Possession lost - 15 times
1 key chance missed
Only 36 touches in 101 minutes
Only won 2 out of 12 aerial duels
Possession lost - 14 times
Pass accuracy - 68%
Only 24 touches in 74 minutes
Possession lost - 10 times
If you compare this to someone like Davis when he came on:-
32 touches in 46 minutes
Pass accuracy - 86%
Only lost possession 4 times
A team like Rangers who like to try and build from the back or play the long diagonal can't afford the back 4 to lose possession over 100 times.
We can't afford the midfield to have to few touches either.
And the front 3 can't be losing possession as much either when they hardly touched the ball.
I said in an earlier post we win and lose as a team.
Statistics show we definitely lost as a team last night.

1.) 19 May 2022 12:18:25
Interesting stats as always MPH The constant poor long balls from defence probably the most significant, particularly Goldson. Bypass the midfield and their stats will be poor and the forwards were having to chase or head poor crosses.

2.) 19 May 2022 13:44:35
100% agree Kaiser.
It's why I thought Gio's tactics were poor at times.
Jack, Kamara and Lundstram have the ability to dictate / dominate a midfield.
Instead we went long, lost it upfront and then the pressure was back on us.
And it was groundhog day at one point with the same tactic.

19 May 2022 08:51:26
Gutted with the result.
But totally proud of the achievement from the team in getting this far.
We just came up short and were beaten in the lottery of penalties.
The game itself?
Poor tactics and performances, individually and collectively let us down.
I don't think Tav or Goldson have played as bad in ages.
How many long balls did Goldson waste? 8, 9,10?
The midfield collectively was non-existent with a huge space in the middle. Only filled ( IMO ) when Davis appeared on the field.
I can't remember once thinking we have a foothold in this match.
Front 3 ( thankless task in the heat ) continually lost the ball.
Huge ( and terrible ) miss from Kent to win the match.
Poor ( and terrible ) penalty from Ramsey in the shootout.
Standout player? Bassey.
But we win and lose as a team.
Everyone playing a part in the route to the final.
Over the last few seasons we have shown we belong at the top end of the EL.
It's now up to the manager and players to prove we have the ability for the next step up - CL.
First though we have a Scottish Cup Final to win.
Which would be a fitting end to a season that once promised so much.
Nobody said it was ever easy being a football fan.
Keep the Faith
In Gio We Trust.

1.) 19 May 2022 09:04:13
I was worried about the 34 degree heat for most of the build up and feel it played a part in both sides performance.

2.) 19 May 2022 09:12:24
The heat definitely played a massive part. But games like that you don't expect your vice captain and captain to be 2 worst players on the park.

3.) 19 May 2022 09:17:58
I would t say poor ta tics from Gio, when we had the ball they reverted to a 5-4-1 and cut of anything down the wings. They were a very decent side and nullified our attacks. The 5 across the back let them stick closer to Tav and Kent, hence the wasted long balls from Goldson. Ryan Kent’s miss was just unlucky, he burst a gut to get there and got a shot on target under pressure from the defender. The keeper threw a leg out and got lucky. No one has yet mentioned how lucky we were with our goal. We’re all hurting but I won’t criticise anyones effort last nigh, we forced a very good side to penalties and lost on the lottery that followed.

4.) 19 May 2022 09:28:06
Where we really that bad? I thought we played well! ??.

5.) 19 May 2022 09:30:16
Tactics were fine maybe looking back Gio may think he used his subs a bit late. Ryan Jack really struggled and I wonder if he was actually fit enough to play. Scott Wright was out on his feet and should've maybe been replaced when we had the 1-0 lead. But not going go down the negative way as we done great getting to this final.

Super Ally said Kent should have scored, AlloaGer.
That's good enough for me.

7.) 19 May 2022 09:40:03
And Hargreaves’s said he’d burst a gut in extra time to get there, got a good connection under pressure from the defender, got his shot on target and was denied by a brilliant save. That’s good enough for me.

8.) 19 May 2022 09:52:29
It’s just whatever way you look at it I suppose. When macgregor makes a save, as he’s done many times in this competition, I didn’t hear super ally saying the player should have scored. It’s a brilliant save by macgregor and the striker done everything right but it was a world class save etc etc. when it’s another keeper that does though then the striker should have scored. It wasn’t as if he was through one on one with the keeper, it was a split second passage of play. Can’t have it both ways.

Ph Alloa sweep excellent posts. We need to accept that EF had done homework and shut down any space.
Re Ryan Jack for me it was a real blow when he had to go off.
We 100% need our players fit, we know so many over a season Can’t play 90 minutes ie Balogun Jack Roofe helander Ramsey Davis A few can’t play two games in a row
Add in serious injury to Hagi and Morelos it all has an impact
We really need to address this and make some hard decisions re guys like Jack Davis helander.
We have seen glimpses off young lads who look to have a great future.
I know some say if only fit Jack is a first pick, I respect that but same re Roofe Ramsey et al.
I wrote last summer we had to freshen menu, it is critical that happens this window
God bless the Rangers.

What's your thoughts on starting young Lowey on Saturday John? Get a bit of much needed energy in the midfield.

11.) 19 May 2022 10:23:51
Totally agree with MPH
And totally agree with John 25

I was really disappointed with kent contribution last night
Goldson for ball watching for there goal as the ball was coming across from his left he was already looking for Bassey when he should have went or Atleast attempted to go for the ball himself was shocking defending by him

All in all it was some journey and gutted is not the word
Ramsay walked up thinking he was the big player his penalty was bloody awfull no heart or determination in it at all.

12.) 19 May 2022 10:35:26
Anyone can miss a penalty, even the best.

13.) 19 May 2022 10:37:40
I can't really criticise any of our players other than Ramsay. From what I saw they all ran their heart out in very high temperatures. problem was that we simply didn't have the quality in reserve on the subs bench to really make a difference and that is not the players fault.
We missed Morelos, we missed not having Roofe on from the start.
Gio was wrong to put Ramsay on for the penalties, he was a massive failure with one of the worst penalty kicks I have seen. He was a bad acquisition, never fully fit and for me the Board needs to do significantly more in terms of supporting Gio than they did in January and we should be signing the players that he and his management team want!

14.) 19 May 2022 11:08:33
Sweep - Lowry was exceptional against Hearts at Tynecastle and for me I would start him on Saturday.

15.) 19 May 2022 13:18:21
Sweep all depends who is fit.
I’d go McLaughlin tav goldson Balogun Bassey
Lundstrum Davis arfield
Aribo Kent Sakala.

Love Aribo.
But last year of deal, got him for a bargain knockdown fee and fits the clubs business model.
So I’d sell for £10 million.

Frankenstein couldn’t make one footballer out of the 3 of them good enough to play for Rangers! 🤣🤣.

Didn't they bring in Bassey and Lundstram? 2 of our top performers?
The remit at the start of the season was for Gerrard to achieve CL qualification to allow the squad to be strengthened. Or sell or player for funds.
He didn't achieve CL qualification.
And apparently ( and don't know how much truth is in this ) he didn't want to sell any first team players.
I also think the board have done not to bad investing in the team.
We don't have a bottomless pit of money.

The league is always our bread and butter but as a fan I want more of the nights we've enjoyed over the last few seasons since Gerrard arrived and now under Gio.
We need to smash the glass ceiling of only settling for success in Scotland.
Our aim every season should be the league and a decent run in Europe.
