I think tonight's performance just shows how far we have come under Gerrard, it also shows his recruitment has been good and can also be trusted. I think the Windass sale was a no-brainier as the current system had no place for him, he's not really a wide player so just squeezing him in made no sense. Need to buy another centre half as cover and probably one more centre forward for competition. Haven't seen enough of Sadiq to say anything about him challenging Morelos. Apparently the rumours about the three Bosnian lads was all BS but don't understand how that happens. #letsgo.

Okay, Goalie post, Fraisl and Johnstone both available on a free, clearly won’t be only party interested, Siegrist has been talked about a lot on here as well but I’m not sure if he is going to be out No. 1 . McLaughlin hasn’t let us down when called upon and he actually comes for crosses and commands his area and that’s where Shagger let us down, I would love to hear if we know anything else on this and what people think?

Johnstone very likely to sign for epl club, siegrest is decent but unsure if he's better than McLaughlin, and was told we were going to offer the Shalke keeper a deal until 2024 but that has went quiet recently.

Neilgd, I agree re McLaughlin, he's been superb for us, and, I have always posted how safe I fee at cross balls when he is playing. In my book, he is our new No1 from next season, I think we need another experienced Goal Keeper too though, as if we compete on all fronts we will inevitably get injuries.

I am a fan of McLaughlin, commands the 6 yd box and comes out of the 18 yd area when required. Should start as No 1 next season, with a keeper with experience as back up.

Think centre half we sign will have to be willing to sit on bench waiting on his chance. So I'll be surprised if we get anyone on loan as he would have to get playing time as part of deal and I can't see SG splitting up Goldson and Katic.

I don't see the huge problem with out cb cover. don't get me wrong if we can get an old head to come in and sit on the bench i'd be delighted but currently in times of need we could use mcrorie, flanaghan or barasic. Would much rather see money spent on a playmaker and finisher.

McCrorie can fill in CB but if much rather have a natural CB heard Barisic can play all along the back 4 anaw.

Does anyone know anything on the defensive situation? Cannot go until January with only 2 first team centre halves, I mean Flanagan could probably do a job in there and McCrorie at a push but Gerrard has already said he doesn't want him in there so we need atleast 1 back up for sure.

Defo need at least one centre half and a centre forward before the window closes. I’m confident we will get both, the board have not let us down on transfer business in the last 3 windows.

Curtis Tilt at Blackpool has handed in a transfer request due to interest from Ipswich so don't know if nows a good time to jump in for him? Heard about the boy from the MLS as well so if we've only got 2 proper Centre halves with McCrorie as crisis cover then I say (finances allowing) we should either get them both or Cedric Kipre. I know he can be a bombscare and could easily get sent off any minute but he's never going to dislodge Goldson and Katic on this form.

Impressive numbers but it is second devision in Holland, not writing him off just saying it needs context, got a year left but the club have the option so probably 2-4 million.

I think this Sterling is similar to Bassey how they are an athletic, full back type but not great going forward, could make a great defensive partner at centre back with Goldson, assuming he can make the transition like Bassey did, can’t see him agreeing to come to us if he knows he’s going to be back up to Tavernier.

Murillo would be a decent centre half signing but a bit over the hill I reckon, Butland would also be welcome I think. Need someone whos going to command his area and actually attack crosses etc.
Dowell and Willock would be great additions, Davies probably couldn’t kick his own arse these days.

BT are showing Aberdeen and Premier sports are showing Hibs, so not as far as I know but I imagine rangers tv will cover it.
