Heard from a reliable source in theatre land in London, that Gio was auditioning for the part of Mowgli in the Jungle book panto at the Apollo in Shaftesbury Avenue. Didn't get it, but has been offered Baloo because he's a bear. Honest, it's nearly true.

I had him to score first and Holland to win 3-2. He scores first with a 30 yarder and Uruguay scored in injury time to complete my bet. Happy days I was doing rolly pollys in the pub that night.

It's GVB for me, he is still young and dynamic, will play the type of football required at Rangers, really don't fancy Koeman, and I just think Lampard has not really done anything as a manager, and he prefers the slow build up play which is not really suited to our fast flow football in Scotland. Gio loves playing fast flowing attacking football and plays wingers the way they should play, and imho I'm sure GIO would tap in to the Dutch and Danish markets.

Well it's been a tough few weeks gents and that's putting it mildly. All we can hope for now is that the club have a plan which is already in overdrive. Personally I'd love Gio, not just because he knows the club, but because he's young did a good job in the Netherlands and it would be a boost and get the bounce back. Whatever the decision we will follow on. Chin up lads.
