Talk of docherty moving on in January. The guy has clearly not made the grade ( never thought he would) these rangers FB pages are mad. Guys sayin we should accept no less than 5 million for him. He cannot get near the team and is like 7th choice mid. Half a mill or so and he will be off to a bottom half championship side. Also seen this morning if kamara moves on they may move for ferguson.

1.) 12 Nov 2019 09:42:19
Wish docherty all the best. He has played for the club he loves. But unfortunately o where near standard required.

2.) 12 Nov 2019 10:12:30
A superb move if Docherty goes to the championship , just look at John Fleck .

3.) 12 Nov 2019 10:36:21
Agreed wish Docherty all the best if he moves. Kamara on the other hand why he would want to go to the championship with Leeds when he can be competing for leagues and cups also playing in Europe with us is beyond me. Unless it's all about chasing cash he would be better staying put.

4.) 12 Nov 2019 12:16:45
Bit harsh on Docherty in here - he's never been given a sustained chance, and yet had better stats last season than Aribo (who I guess IS good enough? ) for a worse team in the same division. I don't think he's not good enough, I think he's just not one Gerrard likes. It happens - there are players the manager just never takes to, and I think Docherty is one of them.

5.) 12 Nov 2019 13:37:36
I think he has the potential and engine to get into the team some day.

But its not fair to keep him here as he needs game time in order to develop.

He needs to go but I'd have a decent sell on clause in any deal.

6.) 12 Nov 2019 14:06:43
This post is a bit unfair on Doherty tbh. His situation is basically down to SG's realisation (like many before him), that the Glasgow gold fish bowl is no place to nurture and develop players. Every game is a must win and therefore the manager can't afford to take chances on untested players.

he also has a lot of experience and quality on the bench, players like Defoe. Therefore even when we are comfortably beating teams, these players get their minutes topped up to keep them sharp.

I think like most young players at Rangers (unless they are exceptional), they will need to cut their teeth by going out on loan. Hopefully he can do that in January and come back ready to stake a claim in the future.

If he doesn't succeed then everyone will wish him well but I wouldn't say he isn't good enough because he hasn't had a chance yet.

7.) 12 Nov 2019 14:45:25
It’s a shame young Doc can’t get a chance. he's unlucky that our midfield is so strong but I don’t think the boy Ferguson is that much of an upgrade on him.

8.) 12 Nov 2019 15:12:49
Just my opinion guys. When he originally signed never thot he would cut it. what is he 23 or 24? By now if he was going to be in the plans he would be by now. Better personally for him to move on and play regular football.

9.) 12 Nov 2019 15:21:16
@zikos I get your logic but he's 22 and basically the same age as Ryan Kent, Sheyi Ojo and Joe Aribo (just turned 23) who Stevie's quite happy to select?

Not sure that's the reason at all.

10.) 12 Nov 2019 16:23:03
Not overly keen to sell but if we do then I'd expect a mil for him if we have a decent contract on him. I think what he needs is games.
Is he good enough for us? good question and I think he may be in time, but maybe not in the style SG needs at moment.
A mil to a champ side isn't much.

11.) 12 Nov 2019 17:27:14
He's not any better than what we already have and if we want to improve then we need need better than what we have. At his age he should be knocking on the door and challenging which he isn't, sadly I think this is down to the fact that he just isn't good enough. Wish him all the best. 👍.

12.) 12 Nov 2019 18:13:58
Tend to agree cold, re Docherty, I feel same will happen to Ross McCrorie.

13.) 12 Nov 2019 18:58:59
Yea young Docherty cost us just over half a mill we need to getting near that back mcrorrie season is not going as well as he would like you imagine any fee would be minimal.

14.) 12 Nov 2019 19:54:31
@rfcrb I don’t think it’s a fair comparison tbh. Doherty is competing with experienced internationals for a starting place. When Kent was brought in last year he didn’t have any competition for a starting place and therefore played every week even when off form. That could have been due to lack of competition or a clause in the loan deal that said he had to play x amount of games.

And the same could be said if Ojo. Personally like the boy but don’t think he is good enough to get a game atm. If he was a Rangers player and didn’t have any playing clauses I don’t think he would be near the squad.

I think given a sustained chance the boy would come good. You only have to look at Barry Ferguson who was extremely close to leaving before Advocaat arrived and game him his chance as an example of how fortunes in football can change so quickly.

15.) 12 Nov 2019 20:36:51
Mac bow, Leeds rumour 3 million.

16.) 12 Nov 2019 23:05:30
Like many others before him, Docherty has found the final step up too high. He's a decent player who will make a good living at the game, but not here. I also believe he will be better than 'lower half championship' and I wish him well.

17.) 12 Nov 2019 23:25:09
Looks likely john👍.

18.) 12 Nov 2019 23:26:58
Docherty could be anything hard to judge not had a run of games to judge him just the odd sub appearance few months back.

19.) 12 Nov 2019 23:28:46
so if kamara goes wouldn't Docherty be back up.

20.) 13 Nov 2019 05:26:09
Eric if kamara went he would still then be 6th choice. And then back to 7th if rumours are true about lewis ferguson coming in for kamara.

21.) 13 Nov 2019 06:58:03
Did Excellent last year out on loan in league one . Played in the same league as Aribo and had better stats playing for a worse side. I personally think the wee man has something about him but for some reason SG just doesn’t like him, could be a personality thing .
What’s he worth the now? Maybe 1M? I think loan him out again to a championship club and if he stands out like he did last year in league1 then you could be asking for 5mill in the summer .
Or loan him to the sheep for 6months as part of a deal for Lewis Ferguson maybe then Aberdeen will at least have a player that will try against the manky mob.

22.) 13 Nov 2019 14:41:24
Am I the only few that wants Docherty to stay? If we get around 2m for him then fine (it's what he is worth) Maybe some day he will return and prove a point!

23.) 13 Nov 2019 20:07:40
Docherty and Aribo are not good enough! Although Aribo is the more skilful of the two.

24.) 13 Nov 2019 21:26:33
It’s strange someone posted that the “ Glasgow goldfish bowl is nowhere to play youth, well selling have been doing that for years, have they not

25.) 14 Nov 2019 12:19:56
I'd probs be wanting somewhere in the region of 1m for Docherty even if he isn't in the picture. Or a smaller fee with a large sell on.

26.) 16 Nov 2019 15:27:21
@daisy yore:

the 'final step up'?! - he's playing in the same division we signed him from, the SPL! Did great in this division for Hamilton, that's why we signed him. He has absolutely never been given a chance to actually show if he's good enough for Rangers or not, not under this manager.

It's ridiculous to criticise his ability when he's made next to no starts under Gerrard.

07 Oct 2019 14:48:10
Any updates on jack kent and jones? Would be fantastic to be back to full strength after international break. Kent jones and morelos in front 3 would terrorise defenders.

1.) 07 Oct 2019 15:51:49
Jack and Kent should be available after the international break with Jones not far behind.

2.) 08 Oct 2019 17:01:50
I think this last few matches have really shown the quality we have as a squad. Jones will have to work hard to get back into the side now.
Excited to see Kent finally get back to tearing defences apart.

3.) 08 Oct 2019 19:27:25
Apparently Kent and Ojo have a great understanding and terrorised teams when playing at Liverpool.

4.) 08 Oct 2019 19:55:05
According to lfc site both have not played together since 2015 as they have been out on loan to various different teams.
Enlighten us where they played together Bankie.

5.) 08 Oct 2019 20:38:47
John25, passing on what I’ve been told by a mate who is a Liverpool fan. According to him as a combination they will create havoc up here Looking forward to seeing them in same team with Morelos.

6.) 08 Oct 2019 21:00:59
Cool Bankie they did not do it together for Liverpool.

7.) 08 Oct 2019 21:39:28
John25, think they played together at the age groups.

8.) 09 Oct 2019 04:32:26
they played under 18. sure if you watch kents goals on youtube you see ojo and kent linking up very well think it should be good to see what happens now as said been out on loan away from Liverpool for couple of seasons so hope they still have that spark together.

9.) 09 Oct 2019 08:49:29
Cannot understand why Ojo alia Ohno would suddenly turn into a decent player just because Kent is playing on the other wing. You either have it or you dont, and Ohno hasn't got it. He is an okay player but not great.

10.) 09 Oct 2019 09:47:42
Bankie go look at when they signed ojo.

11.) 09 Oct 2019 12:40:40
John25, when did they sign him?

12.) 09 Oct 2019 13:29:13
John 25 they played together 😂😂😂 a dunno why your arguing this moot point. Go watch youtube videos you will see them both playing and linkin well together. even if there both on loan to clubs that loan ends and they both go back to liverpool for a period before again going out on loan. Plus ojo himself has came out just as we were signing kent and said he couldn't wait to play with kent again to terrorise teams.

13.) 09 Oct 2019 13:34:58
John25 ojo said in an interview with the record they had a telepathy together on the park. It also says they both played for the liverpool youth for the past 5 years.

14.) 09 Oct 2019 14:01:19
The mite point is they signed as kids, fro 17 went there own way on loan and played less than ten games together, we r trying to make them something they r not.

15.) 09 Oct 2019 16:15:38
So uve just had yer bum skelped and you come bavk with that? It doesn't matter when they both signed they both played together in games plus before we got ojo they were at liverpool After kent went bk. ojo is a good player he's still trying to get a grip if the pace of it up here. It took kent a good while to get going and he's better on the right wing. He can cut in and shoot he rarely hits the byline so with him and tav one side and kent and borna the other it brings good balance and attacking down both sides.

16.) 09 Oct 2019 18:16:06
Boogie never got my bum skelped, I actually like hankies posts they r normally good and informative.
I have followed Liverpool as my English team and simply ask when they played together on a regular basis in same team.
It simply asks how many.
I have no issue with either player. U go and research and prove me factually incorrect, we r here to learn
Also reason I came back with when they signed was a response to Bankie question.

17.) 09 Oct 2019 19:37:20
John25. Kent and Ojo played together over a 5 year period in young Liverpool teams where they “created havoc” before signing full time professional contracts at the club. We know neither player made the breakthrough into the senior team at Liverpool hence the reason, with SG’s influence, we have them at Ibrox. Really looking forward to seeing them reunited in a few weeks in same starting 11.

18.) 09 Oct 2019 21:05:11
Cool Bankie. I personally don’t look at pre 17, we had guys like Dallas, Hardie mckay etc destroyed teams at youth level, now struggle for a game.
I do feel Kent and ojo r useful addition to squad orteam.

19.) 09 Oct 2019 21:43:16
Ojo saying he has a telepathy with kent is an insult to kent. I have yet to see ojo tear a defence apart👍.

20.) 10 Oct 2019 05:52:15
Why all the Ojo bashing? Yes he is inconsistent, can not do much in a game but he does score and assist.

He's young and here to learn and develop, unfortunately that is part of signing young lads on loan.

21.) 10 Oct 2019 12:43:12
Ojo done more in a few weeks than Kent done over a full season some fans are ridiculous because Kent slapped brown they can’t see past it he went ****in ages without scoring or assisting last season lol.

22.) 10 Oct 2019 13:41:08
Guys I am not bashing ojo, I’m simply questioning the post and level of games he has played alongside Kent.

23.) 10 Oct 2019 20:22:51
I'll bash him jboy, ojo is a passenger and once kent and jones are back, he'll be benched unless gerrard was daft enough to have a clause in the loan where he has to play ojo x amount of games. Worrall all over again. Not good enough for us. 👍.

24.) 11 Oct 2019 12:14:10
Scored magnificent goal against Feyenoord to secure Europa League points.

25.) 11 Oct 2019 12:46:44
Mckay scored a belter against celtic🤷‍♂️👍.

26.) 11 Oct 2019 16:50:11
Agreed Coldo, that was a belter and got us into Cup Final.

27.) 11 Oct 2019 20:30:19
the play OJO adverts on TV must be driving you insane lol.

28.) 11 Oct 2019 20:33:45
Pity he wasn't good enough for cup final level🤷‍♂️👍.

15 Sep 2019 07:13:09
Is flanagan injured how long for? Barasic will surely play on Thursday. Not sure i can take much more of Halliday left back.

1.) 15 Sep 2019 09:12:36
And people on here were posting yesterday he's our best left back! Delusional!

2.) 15 Sep 2019 12:16:17
Whats wrong with you people? Halliday was linking well with Kent for as long as it lasted and if anything it was the centre of our defense that was week, Arfield gave away a stupid pen and Morelos had an off day yet still you find time to post about a player who done his job yesterday. We won 3-1 for goodness sake.

3.) 15 Sep 2019 12:24:28
Andy is as honest as they come but limited as a makeshift left back.

4.) 15 Sep 2019 12:37:20
JYF he's not a left back. End of. He wasnt linking at all with Kent. 5 yard passes here and there.

5.) 15 Sep 2019 12:38:28
Tell me what you expect from our left backs, tierney went for 25mil yet got destroyed by every European team he came up against, how much better is he than Halliday and Barasic?

6.) 15 Sep 2019 12:46:54
Halliday will never be a popular player. But he rarely let's us down and gives us more than some other imposters in our shirt do.

7.) 15 Sep 2019 14:12:58
He was very very lucky yesterday the ref gave a foul for his howler.

8.) 15 Sep 2019 14:16:18
Here was me thinking that the Andy Halliday bashers were gone, but they have all just been on a short holiday. GET OFF HIS BACK FOR FU#K SAKE. The guy gives, and always has given 110% for our club. He is never posted missing (like some others) and all some of you can do is give him grief.

9.) 15 Sep 2019 14:25:21
When you look at how little Aribo, Goldson, Barisic and Arfield are currently giving us, to name just four, it's surprising that it's Halliday that gets the abuse.

10.) 15 Sep 2019 14:34:06
Do you really think Aribo, Goldson, Barisic and Arfield are 'imposters' rfcrb1872?

11.) 15 Sep 2019 14:59:16
I’d give 110% for the jersey too but I’d still be pish so I don’t see how that’s relevant.

12.) 15 Sep 2019 15:09:11
Halliday is not a natural left fullback. However, he does a decent job filling in there in times of need. Until we get a player that can make the position his own, then Halliday is a decent option. Barasic looked a great buy 12 months ago, but seems to be unable to play consistently.
Until the next transfer window we need to support them both.

13.) 15 Sep 2019 16:31:02
You didn't think that was a foul then paul86? Says it all!

14.) 15 Sep 2019 18:51:12
What's this 100% for the club crap? I'm not buying that. I don't hate or dislike Halliday but the end of the day he's not good enough. SG shouldn't be playing him.

15.) 15 Sep 2019 19:05:49
Rangers have lost one and drew one game this season and Halliday played in neither! What more do you guys want?

16.) 15 Sep 2019 19:48:06
Andy Halliday is a good utility player and is clearly committed but if he is to be our first choice left back we will never win the league.

17.) 15 Sep 2019 19:55:41
thought he bossed the first half hour as some one making a statement to his manager.

18.) 15 Sep 2019 20:03:54
Think its time to start playing edmondson and hilander.

19.) 15 Sep 2019 20:08:53
Halliday is rank rotten period.
Also if people Think we can win things with him playing left back then they should stop watching football as they know nothing.
He was extremely lucky the ref gave a foul against Dykes because it was never a foul just Halliday being his usual crap self.

Also SG should hang his head in shame at starting kent terrible decision.

20.) 15 Sep 2019 20:10:13
Jyf catch yourself on you trying to say barisic and halliday 25 million pound players 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

21.) 16 Sep 2019 03:09:38
@MrGrumpy, in the case of Goldson, Aribo and Barisic, yes. Goldson has been living on the goodwill of his early season last year for almost 18 months, and Barisic is a completely different player for Croatia than for us. Aribo has been absolutely average so far.

Arfield isn't an imposter, in terms of the effort, but he needs a rest and isn't producing this season. That said I happen to know he's not a Rangers fan. And if you have any doubt, I challenge anyone reading this to find him quoting that he is. And 'playing for this badge' doesn't count. He's not one of us, but he does put in the effort we expect of one of us so he's actually one of my favourite players.

22.) 16 Sep 2019 09:58:05
What your talking about is form surely? and that's just someones opinion. Calling out players as imposters, suggests you think they're somehow cheating/ being dishonest and that's bang out of order.

23.) 16 Sep 2019 10:41:47
Goldson, Aribo and Barisic are doing just fine - if you stopped booing your own team, maybe they'd play a bit better? We have lost ONE GAME so far this season, perhaps a reality check is called for?

24.) 16 Sep 2019 18:44:50
Barisic needs a run of games and I don’t mean 2 or 3 then out. a dozen games and if he doesn’t perform punt him in Jan. Halliday isn’t the answer at LB.

25.) 17 Sep 2019 02:16:30
Grumpy, you used the word 'imposter', not me. I only used my own interpretation, which was clearly about form. You raised the issue of cheating or dishonesty all on your own.

My conscience is utterly clear.

26.) 17 Sep 2019 02:18:09
Souness; goldson aribo and barisic are doing just fine?

No they utterly aren't! Let's be serious! Davis, Katic, McGregor, Morelos - they're doing fine or better than fine.

To claim Goldson aribo and barisic are playing anything other than utterly average or worse for us is patently false.

27.) 17 Sep 2019 08:01:18
Someone that seeks sense!

28.) 17 Sep 2019 12:15:02
rfcrb1872, Arfield is indeed a Rangers fan, he is one of us and this has been recorded several times. In fact his previous manager Sean Dyche said that when Rangers came for him it was a no brainer because he was a lifelong Gers fan and was desperate to sign.

29.) 17 Sep 2019 12:04:02
Gotta agree with the comments about Goodson. Seems to get much more slack than any other player in our team. he's a decent defender and reads the game well, but he throws in sloppy errors. Arfield needs a rest, definitely looks a little jaded to me. Aribo has shown in flashes what he is capable of and I'm convinced he will come good when adjusts to the rigours of our league. Barasic, I want him to do well but how many chances will he be given before we cut our losses. His left foot is a wand and his set pieces are great but needs to find form and get a good run of games.

30.) 17 Sep 2019 14:45:32
you mentioned the word 'imposter' in an earlier post rfcrb1872. Check what the word 'imposter' means in the dictionary. If we're talking about form, fair enough. I personally don't think Goldson has been great this season.

15 Jun 2019 10:37:54
Looks like we may have won the race to sign Aribo. can honestly say i have never seen him play. Although i have a pal who supports the wrong uns who also goes to a lot of Charlton games. He thinks the lad is a gem and gutted if they lot miss out on him. Suppose same as always jury will be out until proves otherwise. Needs to sign 1st tho i guess.

1.) 15 Jun 2019 14:28:54
I've only seen the boy play in the playoffs and on you tube and he looks a unit very strong physically and appears to be good in the tackle and at driving forward.

I really hope we get him because as much as I'm happy with our central mid atm but one area I feel its has been lacking for such a long time is that big physical presence that can drive at defences with strength and pace from deep and make things happen. Aribo seems to be that sort of player.

Jack, docherty, rossiter, Kamara, Davis, halliday, arfield are all more suited to pass and movement. Imo none of them are players that drive at defences. I think the closest we have to that driving force is McCrorie.

As for the debate between Aribo and Turnbull. Turnbull imo is a very good player but very similar to what we already have. Again comes into the pass and movement bracket. Where if I was to compare Aribo he is more like the dims Rogic or Ntcham.

Our team have not had a decent player that can play that role in such a long time so it would be brill if we manage to sign him.

2.) 15 Jun 2019 17:56:19
Paul, live in area, seen lot Charlton, he's what I would call skillful but hard and can run with ball. Good with ball at feet. Like him because he's difficult to get ball off. Not creative we demanded but still cracking player to take ball mid to front.

3.) 15 Jun 2019 19:56:47
Can confirm Aribo is a stonking player, one Charlton do NOT want to go. He's not a DM as some had said, but a B2B-cum AM as miller says. He'd be a great addition to our squad.

4.) 16 Jun 2019 10:28:40
what coulibally cannot do aribo can.

28 May 2019 18:47:02
Post on follow follow fb page showing naisy in at ross hall for medical. Down for rfc. really really hope not what a backward step that would be. Think signing stewart we alrwady have our quota for average players.

1.) 28 May 2019 19:20:01
I know my opinion won’t be popular on this but I would take him back. He’s better than Lafferty, can play anywhere across the front positions, is cheap and knows the league inside out.
I know his comments and then walking away without us getting a penny were horrible but for me if it gives our squad even 1% more chance of winning title with his arrival I would take him back.
Incidentally I think the rumour is false and that it’s probably Hearts he will be signing for this season.

2.) 28 May 2019 19:57:17
No way surely not never mind the guy being a rat we need better than that i'm not believing it.

3.) 28 May 2019 20:13:33
He's still a decent player but we need better. He's also VERY injury prone. Its a no from me.

4.) 28 May 2019 20:31:21
Is he not still injured? Also thought he was staying at hearts.

5.) 28 May 2019 21:43:43
A RAT 🐀 guys and shouldn’t be welcome and don’t forget that press conference 😡😡🇬🇧.

6.) 28 May 2019 22:00:44
I'm sorta on the fence with this one as he did what he did and I despise him for it but do I think he could do us a turn? Yeah I definitely do even if it's every other game but he knows what it's all about and I also think he'd want to make up for his actions before so I've no clue really if it's a yes or no from me!

7.) 28 May 2019 23:08:47
Rangers have already rubbishd this rumour, according to Four Lads had a Dream.

8.) 29 May 2019 05:06:05
Nope not for me. Agree with others it's a backwards step . Should be looking for a better quality of player .

9.) 29 May 2019 07:32:30
Naismith will be signing for Hearts now that his contract has ended at Norwich.

10.) 29 May 2019 08:11:07
He's agreed hid deal with hearts already.

11.) 29 May 2019 08:53:34
If we get him on the cheap I’m not too fussed. The difference I think between us and Celtic last year was their squad size. I think the likes of naisy and Stewart will rarely play in the first but will give us more depth and stop us having to rely on loans like coulibaly ejaria and worrall to pad out the squad. Leaving us to only get 1 or two top quality loans to boost the squad.

12.) 29 May 2019 09:19:51
We surely aren't talking about Steven Naismith, the guy that's already signed a deal to stay at Hearts next year?!

13.) 29 May 2019 10:27:13
Just No.

So, every ones opinion is about what happened in the past, but I get slaughtered for saying Rangers should never play a friendly game against Marseille, is it just me who finds it strange that the same people never want Naismith, Utd etc,

15.) 29 May 2019 13:09:59
Tommy you are soundin like a broken record. Give it a rest. Weve already played them few seasons back pre season. woukd i mind playin them again? No. would i go to United away? Yes. do i want naismith back? No. Cause he's not good enougj.

16.) 29 May 2019 15:31:50
No no no!

17.) 29 May 2019 19:35:12
think its fair to say Tommy doesn't want us playing a pre-season friendly.

Gerrard spent 10million on the defence and were still absolutely brutal at the back. Crazy defending.

1.) 04 Dec 2019 21:03:48
CBs are murder.

2.) 04 Dec 2019 21:04:35
Sooner katic is back in the better👍.

3.) 04 Dec 2019 21:06:02
We have 2 CB'S better than this dumpling.

4.) 04 Dec 2019 21:42:19
guys flannigan was woeful, jack wasnt in it. we lost the midfield on every second ball, no positive passing, too loose all round.

5.) 04 Dec 2019 21:50:46
Even bigger kick in the stones the tims scoring right after hamiltons equaliser. Really freaing sunday. Gerrard continues the pals act. Goldson is a liability and has been one of our worst players this season. Kent in effective as playing far to deep. Honestly can believe am having this rant after coasting at 2 nil.

6.) 04 Dec 2019 21:59:55
Have to agree not one for picking on our players but Wow Goldson and Helander were shocking No pace and why do they let balls bounce? Helander was letting it bounce 2-3 times! Madness! Was like we thought it was won at 2-0 took the foot off the gas and couldn’t lift it again. Think it’s time for Big Nico to come back in! The balance of the team without Barasic was horrible everything up the right after 40 mins they worked it out! Roll on Sunday 👊🏻💙.

02 Nov 2019 12:28:37
What players if any do you all think will move on in January? Going by financial report would be good to get rid of a few that are stealing a wage. And possibly some sales? Possible Wes will move on maybe?

1.) 02 Nov 2019 13:10:39
I’d imagine there could be a few Paul, as it stands players who don’t make squad and then there’s some that make the 21 match day squad but don’t make the bench these players will be the ones who could be moved on as well as som youths. Maybe foderingham, pollster, docherty, Murphy, geezda, Andy king, maybe some young players on loan.

2.) 02 Nov 2019 13:33:03
I wouldn’t let any player who is a regular starter leave in January unless it’s a crazy offer and have a replacement available to bring in.

3.) 02 Nov 2019 13:33:30
Yeah docherty doesn't really seem to have a future. He could probably move on. Murphy aswel might now struggle to get in. Andy king on loan? Grezda is the main one i think whos on a big wage. Claw back some sort of fee.

4.) 02 Nov 2019 14:19:55
Would think that if Andy king fails to get more game time he’d be sent back also think we could now be holding docherty back. I’d like doc to succeed but he can’t get a sniff right now so I’d rather he went out again. If the coaches at rangers think he can improve and be a ranger then maybe loan him out otherwise try and get some money for him.

5.) 02 Nov 2019 14:38:50
Can we afford to let Foderingham go before the summer? How good is Firth, can he replace McGregor when required? As for Polster is he not the back up for Tavernier? whom a lot on here want dropping. Docherty, Grezda and Murphy yes.

6.) 02 Nov 2019 14:39:59
My opinion clearing number of players in January does not raise money. May save some wages.
At end of season guys like Herrera, Holt, Halliday, foderingham, Alnwick, firth, contracts end, would not renew any off them.
McGregor, Davis Defoe also out off contract, renew

Grezda, Murphy, sell but we won’t get much.
Then sell one or two off Morelos, tav, Kamara.

7.) 02 Nov 2019 15:01:11
I’d say flannigan is above pollster in the pecking order blue toon👍.

8.) 02 Nov 2019 15:27:03
Oh and I forgot rossiter, 10k a week saving.

9.) 02 Nov 2019 15:55:31
You can only move players on if:
A/ someone bids for them.
B/ they want to move on.
C/ the club decides to sell.

10.) 02 Nov 2019 17:03:53
Exactly poppy, that why I say look at those whose contracts end.

11.) 02 Nov 2019 18:29:58
Flanagan another one whose contract up in may.

12.) 02 Nov 2019 18:55:23
Correct John25, the savings alone in some of the players you have have mentioned above will save the club a small fortune and eradicate some of the recruitment errors of the past.

13.) 02 Nov 2019 21:24:48
The main cause in my opinion is poor recruitment something like 30 million spent in past few years with most getting their contracts terminated by mutual consent. That has to stop. Paying millions in fees then same in paying them off. Secondly it will be the excessive legal fees caused by the sports direct twat taking us to court every time his dinner is cold.

I think with wilson in our recruitment will improve buying low improving and selling for profit with sell on clauses in the likes of morelos, kamara, aribo etc. Pretty much copy what Celtic have done with there players for years now.

14.) 03 Nov 2019 08:49:52
I agree john with your list of players to sell, although I'd keep kamara. I think we will get offers for morelos in january, the type we can't refuse. 👍.

15.) 03 Nov 2019 10:13:41
If we sgree a fee for him in jan we csn kiss goodbye to league. Its so important to keep him till end of season, i love defoe but we need fredo more.

16.) 03 Nov 2019 10:50:02
I would want to keep him aswell mate but money talks and we can't afford to knock back 20mil plus which I think is the magic number. 👍.

17.) 03 Nov 2019 11:10:26
we can if it means the difference of possible champions league or Europa. ok so we don't know where we would get to in CL but surely that's what our aspirations need to be then we can start showing profits.

18.) 03 Nov 2019 12:04:42
It has to be our aspirations but I would be staggered if we knocked back that kind of money in any transfer window if I'm honest. As for the champs league, we would be very lucky to make the group stages when you see calibre of teams that go in at the 3rd qualifer. I think if we qualified for the knock out stages of the europa, with the extra cash generated, then that could allow us to knock back bids until the summer. I would be staggered tho if we knocked back in the region of 20 plus. 👍.

30 Oct 2019 20:47:18
Somehow managing to get a stream stuck in the middle of the north sea but the team have put in a great performance so far and the fans have been equally as good. Never stopped whole 1st half. tremendous.

1.) 30 Oct 2019 21:38:04
What a great performance tonight at a tricky venue. Solid throughout the team, and great to see some sparkle from Aribo and Ojo.

2.) 30 Oct 2019 22:04:17
Thought we were fantastic tonight and 4-0 really flattered Ross county . A wee word for Ojo who takes some stick on here, thought he was very good tonight .

3.) 30 Oct 2019 22:11:50
Agreed mate. Still think kamara snd arfield struggling to get up to pace. Ryan jack was outstanding. Think he will finish his career at rangers but someone would have to stump up some fee to get him.

4.) 31 Oct 2019 00:18:05
Kamara was excellent, never wasted a pass 👍.

5.) 31 Oct 2019 06:30:33
Here we go 55. 2 or 3 times in the 2nd half he turned into trouble or passed the ball back and thot there. was somebody there. Passed straight to county player well in our half so yes he definitely did.

6.) 31 Oct 2019 07:34:07
Aribos best game for us. Looked to get forward, brave on the ball. Really enjoyed his performance.

7.) 31 Oct 2019 07:36:18
I thought kamara was great, both him and particularly jack controlled the midfield, thought ojo and aribo were better. Getting in behind, taking men on, moving it quick. It was only ross county I know, but its the kind of games we should / need to be winning. 👍.

8.) 31 Oct 2019 11:16:49
Correct Coldo. Aribo as we discussed is a player, we need to learn how he plays, he needs to learn to move it a bit quicker . ojo did show a better attitude but must do so in every game.
It’s about utilising the whole squad.

25 Oct 2019 11:03:11
Once jordan jones is fit. Him kent and morelos front 3 will terrorise defenders. givs arfield chance to slot back into midfield with jack and davis. Kamara not a patch on how he was last season for us.

1.) 25 Oct 2019 17:04:59
Thought kamara was excellent last night.

2.) 25 Oct 2019 17:29:11
I thought kamara was great aswell👍.

3.) 25 Oct 2019 19:48:09
Jones will be a bit-player in this team, nothing more.

4.) 25 Oct 2019 21:28:55
Daisy yore i think he will play his part. he's definitely better than stewart and barker anyway. Kent on the left then i guess u have an option of about 5 for the right hand side.

5.) 25 Oct 2019 21:36:14
Jones is a big game player with a bit of devilment in him and I think he has a big part to play this season if given a chance.

20 Oct 2019 01:09:10
As someone previously posted new ryan jack deal just around the corner. How good a player has Jack turned out to be for Gerrard. One of the 1st names on the team sheet. If someone was to come in for him it would have to be a sizeable figure. although don't think they will. he's a player that goes under the radar nothing fancy, dies the dirty work. Plus helps he's a rangers man.

1.) 20 Oct 2019 07:49:19
Yip Paul86 and jacko is a future rangers captain. He's also a rangers supporter and i personally think he'll be one of these very rare now
loyal players, who will stay with us for the rest of his career. I just have that perception of ryan jack.
He's been absolutely immense for us,
especially since gerrard became manager. He has without question taken his midfield game, to a completely higher level under gerrard. Deserves his new contract.

2.) 20 Oct 2019 14:22:52
1st name on team sheet for me. Been outstanding and was missed today.

Aribo certainly playing well just now. Far out performing kent at the minute hopefully he keeps it up. Jordan jones could be a good edition back in the squad. morelos suspended makes hibs away just tht bit more tougher.

Purely from a selfish point of virw ticket wise that everybody would get would be inter. Espanyol are rock bottom of la liga. Malmo lask and braga are probably some of the lesser sides. Would fancyna crack at Arsenal.
