Hearing from a neighbour who has been sent a text from his best pal. He says the pal lives next door to Graham Shinnie and he has maintained he has signed a pre contract with us. Don't shoot the messenger guys, just passing on what i've heard.

{Ed033's Note - His best pal doesn't wear a suit does he? :)

1.) 01 Jan 2019 23:37:25

I trust you. You are a Bear without doubt. Was your neighbour lip reading?

I need to know.

2.) 02 Jan 2019 06:55:41
Ha ha, maybe i dreamt this, coolatballet! Hope so as I don't rate Shinnie. Waa he not on our books as a youngster?

3.) 02 Jan 2019 09:16:08
Always says shinnie would be a good signing! But with the number of centre midfielders at us just now it looks unlikely. I can't see us buying coulibaly in summer so maybe happen. Again when we signed Ryan Jack everyone says he wasnt good enough. shinnie would be a good signing.

4.) 02 Jan 2019 09:19:04
Are you allowed to sign a pre contract for a club in the same country? 🇬🇧.

5.) 02 Jan 2019 09:35:23
Not sure Yately. I thought we had done this before but can't recall who it was for. Or maybe it was Ryan Jack? Did we not sign him on a pre contract?

6.) 02 Jan 2019 09:39:31
Yes, I'm certain you are yately1.

7.) 02 Jan 2019 09:52:30
Think it depends on what country you are in. We signed Jack on a pre contract did we not? Or maybe it was because the window had closed.

8.) 02 Jan 2019 12:18:56
Rite bears if there was 3 signing thro the door in Jan who would u want mine Davis, shanklands worth a punt, and last Alan Hutton.

9.) 02 Jan 2019 12:43:42
You can sign pre contract with anyone. Only thing the same country signing is if they are under 23 for the development compensation. Its higher if player plays in same country but cheaper if say we got youngster on pre contract from England.

10.) 02 Jan 2019 13:39:56
we had Andrew Shinnie don't think Graham.

11.) 02 Jan 2019 13:40:22
they are brothers.

12.) 02 Jan 2019 14:34:37
Aye Deeb, googled it earlier!

06 Apr 2017 22:42:47
I'm hearing from a reliable source that MOH is absolutely hating life at Rangers and can't wait to leave. Also, the players in general are not enamoured with PC or his training methods.

Apparently during one session he was advising them to "caress the ball". Nobody had an idea as to what he was on about!
Funnily enough I heard his after match comments the other night and for the life of me I didn't know what he was talking about. Worrying times.

1.) 06 Apr 2017 23:39:04
Because he has been found out for being the avarage at best player he is pace and nothing else

2.) 07 Apr 2017 00:51:49
Need to suck it up and get on with it if they aren't happy tough the fans have had 5 years of it being tough and soldierd on as for MOH if he isn't happy bolt won't be missed.

3.) 07 Apr 2017 08:02:18
A first touch like nacho novo, brutal!

4.) 07 Apr 2017 09:05:48
"Caress the ball" means look after the ball, good touch, find a team mate, you know the basics of a good footballer. the players should start listening to Pedro rather moaning! The extra Wednesday training session should be spent on hitting the target our poor goal return is why we are so far off the pace.

5.) 07 Apr 2017 10:53:15
Ohh a coach with some actual ideas who doesn't want to hump it beyond the fullbacks like your normal Scottish coaches. No wonder our players are getting a shock. They done it to PLG and they will try to do it to PC but our club needs to be modernised.

6.) 07 Apr 2017 11:23:58
Yeah caress it, look after it, keep it, hold onto it, control it. Can't do any of the above and don't understand what the manager is talking about. Doesn't surprise me one bit. Team full of 3rd division players wanting to play kick and rush because they got found out this year

7.) 07 Apr 2017 14:07:03
If that's the case maybe they should spend the extra day on Wednesday doing some english lessons as it's quite simple to understand what is meant by "caress the ball". Sounds more like players are either thick or acting facetious.

8.) 07 Apr 2017 12:56:45
Jim Baxter, Pele and George Best all talked about caressing the ball, but you're saying the players don't understand what it means? And maybe MOH hates it because he's not up to it, he's been found out as someone who couldn't caress the ball if his life depended on it. Funny, most players have been reported elsewhere as really enjoying the training sessions, but obviously it's a rumours site so you can say the first thing that comes into your head.

9.) 07 Apr 2017 13:22:13
I will drive him or any other of the bang average players we have on our books to whichever team in the uk they "think" will want to employ them, only Foderingham and the youngsters excluded from that!

10.) 07 Apr 2017 13:24:13
Could be something in it as anytime I have seen footage of them in training the players have looked a bit non plussed when Pedro has been talking to them, not much to go on I know but wouldn't surprise me all the same.

11.) 07 Apr 2017 13:28:51
Both MCKay and Ohalloran are major under achievers at rangers principally because they both have ability but for whatever reason don't produce often enough. In O'haaloran's case he hasn't produced since joining the club. They can both go. Get some decent cash for them and march on.

12.) 07 Apr 2017 13:38:34
Well said Reidy09, its not exactly rocket science and if a pro footballer doesn't no what that means we really are in trouble. and as for MOH, i'm absolutely hating him being in the squad.

13.) 07 Apr 2017 13:41:28
Why not say hold it, pass it, play it. Keep it simple. Always the best way. Obviously not for the football managers on here.

14.) 07 Apr 2017 15:07:46
They don't understand 1 word and you want to replace it with 4. still think they won't get it as they just don't care nor want to buy in as they are use to the easy holiday camp they had under the bread man and going back to mccoist times as well.

15.) 07 Apr 2017 15:57:31
Seeker, how do you know he doesn't use these terms as well? Hold it, pass it, play it, nothing there about touch and control, which is what real players understand by 'caressing' the ball.

16.) 07 Apr 2017 22:53:33
Wait and see what caressing the ball will mean to Pedro when he listens to 50,000 bears baying for his blood. I just have a really bad feeling guys. I hope to god I'm wrong please believe me. I always try and remain positive but I just can't shake the feeling. And btw wee ecky I didn't make up the post. It's what I've heard from someone close to MOH. Maybe someone will bail me out?

17.) 08 Apr 2017 13:32:39
MOH has been a major disappointment since joining us, McKay plays one good game in five, Halliday, Waghorn and Kieran haven't had a decent game in the Top league. Personally this would be the first bunch I would target to offload and hopefully secure some transfer fees on.
Problem is that you then need five replacements plus replacements for the three at the end of their contracts and that means that Pedro needs to sign eight quality players jut to stand still albeit with a better quality of player.
To secure the quality required we need to find some real gems at relatively low cost or we just continue on the downward spiral that we have been on for years.

25 Jan 2017 18:29:46
Just heard Ryan Christie thinks he is going to the second biggest club in Scotland in a loan deal with the sheep. I think it's a right slap in the face to his parent club, rating them only third biggest.

1.) 25 Jan 2017 21:58:13
his popularity ratings will be through the roof with both sides lol.

2.) 25 Jan 2017 23:08:57
Could be worse seeker, could be going to the 3rd biggest team in Glasgow, yourselves.

3.) 25 Jan 2017 23:57:17
Some people have very short memories and selective memories at that!

4.) 26 Jan 2017 00:10:52
Ha ha Bhampot! I knew you couldn't resist! Obviously as a fan of the world's most successful club, I will disagree with you.

Read the boss' comments on his positive relationship with Ross Wilson. This is fantastic news and it looks like we are finally all pulling in the right direction. It's plain to see the effort and application the players are showing and there's no doubting the pure passion and drive from Stevie and his coaching staff. To hear that the 'suits' are also playing their parts warms the cockles of my heart. Just need to rid ourselves of the spectre of Ashley and we will really move forward. 55 is so close, just drive on and do it for us boys!

1.) 16 Jan 2020 16:52:30
Would watch the interview, his face and body language don’t match his words, I’m not sure the gaffer likes him.

2.) 16 Jan 2020 17:36:50
Theswagman, totally agree. When the last dog left, Gerrard was quoted as saying we'll manage fine without a dog. That suggests to me Gerrard is not keen.

3.) 16 Jan 2020 19:35:58
Swagman and stuck without elaborating you’re both miles off the mark on this one.

4.) 16 Jan 2020 20:41:08
I haven't heard anything mentioned anywhere. Let's hope you're wrong guys.

5.) 17 Jan 2020 01:11:50
I’ve not heard anything or anything like that, just going purely by the interview and his face and body language. Wilson seems a bit too smug and Austin MacPhee like to me, hope I’m wrong!

6.) 18 Jan 2020 00:15:28
Seeker, your on the money mate, good op post,

27 Dec 2019 13:08:03
Was just chuckling away at popcorn teeth's rant at the sheep chairman Dave Cormack after he criticised big Bambi Ajer for feigning injury and conning the ref. A wee change for us not to bd involved, though I"m sure the buffalo will end up with a 2 match ban for his part in the affair lol.

Tbh, looking at internet footage of the incident, I did think it was a red card. Yes, Cosgrove missed Ajer but the intent was there and it was reckless. Apparently the thumb made more or less the same challenge on Ferguson, unsurprisingly not incurring the same punishment.

I did not see that incident so cannot comment. For all of you advocating our signing of Cosgrove, fine if you'll be happy to see him sitting in the stand! If he joins us he will be sent off more times than I've had hot dinners, and I've had a lot.

1.) 27 Dec 2019 13:45:13
Ibrox, don't think c bear giving you good advice. Taylor a hotel and Foundry a restaurant. Stick with local boy, only 10 miles from Killie!

2.) 27 Dec 2019 14:54:40
Cosgrove I think yellow as he was clipped however Ajer was not in Cosgroves direct direction of travel if he was then straight red for endangering an opponent with excessive force whether he touched him or not. Thumb straight red for stomping on LFs knee.

3.) 27 Dec 2019 21:14:26
Can’t stand Ajer. Any incident of any sorts and he has to run up and get involved but walks away like a frightened wee lassie when anyone stands up to him. Also cosgrove to Rangers not for me.

20 Dec 2019 20:36:25
Half time coming at the wrong time. Fon't know about you guys but I think we have been superb. Everybody is on his game and we are ripping them to shreds. I think when we play like this we are the best team in the league. So far so good. Would love to ram 5 or 6 into them and sicken that wee rat Allan. Btw glad to see Ryan Kent hitting form again. Sublime touches from him at times. Aribo also has been top drawer and a superb finish for number 2.

1.) 20 Dec 2019 21:09:51
Aribo is great in this new right wing role. And we get more out of Arfield in the middle. Davis is brilliant but going to have a job getting back in the side!

13 Dec 2019 11:34:14
Boss agrees deal to 2024. Superb news!

1.) 13 Dec 2019 11:50:48
See also Klopp deal extended to 2024, meals they r unlikely to come for gerrard b4 2024.

2.) 13 Dec 2019 12:19:41
Well it gives him plenty time to learn about making substitutions.

Although i am fairly happy with where we are at the moment,
His choice and timing of subs are ridiculous. Just look at the last 3 games.

3.) 13 Dec 2019 13:14:19
Slim you can’t gaurantee that subs will work as you intend . It’s all hindsight and wishful thinking . Ojo comes on last night and plays great . including passing a decent ball through to Alfie to win us the game ( of which he really should have) then Stevie’s suddenly a genius . The boy ojo is now totally lacking in confidence, and I am not sure he willl bounce back from this . Stevie changes it further and we get beat. a good few on here would be wanting his head for changing it . Young boys were facing elimination so we’re desperate. I do agree I thought we needed a bit of freshness last 20 . but I believe Stevie knows better than I.

4.) 13 Dec 2019 14:01:59
Slim Jim I think he knows what he is doing.

5.) 13 Dec 2019 14:09:08
I agree slim jim, that steven gerrard probably should have subs around the 65/ 70 minutes mark, as we could all at ibrox visually see that there was a lot of tiredness and heavy legged players out there. Having said that,
steven gerrard is still learning as a manager himself and of course mistakes and judgements of error will be part and parcel of it. He's still a very young manager of remember only 18 months and on the whole IMO he's been fantastic as our manager. Look where we are to where we were even 18 months ago! The professionalism and high standards he's brought to our club quickly,
have been unbelievable. His european record alone is quite stunning and i most definitely think he's the manager that will end celtic's dominance! He's very loyal and committed to rangers and with him now signing his new 4 and a half year contract, this undoubtedly proves to be the case. Steven Gerrard IS the manager who will restore us to the pinnacle of scottish football again, i've got no doubt. I'm a very proud and delighted rangers supporter, that stevie G is our manager. let's go as steven gerrard would say. We're all behind him, well me and the majority of bears anyway! 😂👍.

6.) 13 Dec 2019 14:35:15
Spot on Jim and he also has to get the team to fight to the death and not sit back till the final whistle. We need to get the killer instinct against top teams.

Every top team seems to have sussed us out, let us run arround and tire ourselfs out then throw eveything at us .

Been happening for a few games now and needs to be sorted or all will be in vain again this season.

7.) 13 Dec 2019 15:11:31
Just send him a text at the appropriate moment SJ - sure he'll appreciate it.

8.) 13 Dec 2019 16:46:50
Just because a lot of you are in the "in SG we believe camp" it doesn't mean he has it right. Yes he has done well but throwing on A sub late in the game and in 1 case stoppage time to try and rescue the game as has happened lately is lacking in something.
Too little too late and most fans at the games would agree.

9.) 13 Dec 2019 20:42:28
Boss agrees extension the same as Klopp. coincidence?

10.) 13 Dec 2019 22:42:49
Slim Jim, Steven Gerard just need another transfer. Window, or two. he is barely in the door.

10 Dec 2019 23:07:39
Nice commemts from English re Ryan Jack's reactiom to losing the most one sided OF match in history. Between vile comments and wildly unbalanced reporting on my club from this mess of a man and his colleague, gollum, I hope that the ban on this corrupt TV corporation runs for the rest of time. Not one of their representatives should be allowed anywhere near Ibrox or Auchenhowie ever again. The day we win 55 will be all the sweeter knowing that the haters will be up to their neck in their own vomit.

1.) 11 Dec 2019 00:06:49
Seeker, that what makes it all the sweeter, there bubble will burst, in the not too distant future, big investment not needed.

2.) 11 Dec 2019 07:27:50
Big investment is very much needed pal.

3.) 11 Dec 2019 10:23:45
I think the only one up their necks in vomit is you seek, and am sure i have heard about this bubble will burst nonsense for the past 4 years, doesn't seem like our bubble has started to deflate yet does it?

4.) 11 Dec 2019 12:24:59
Wow, so you think you were marching impressively on? Embarrassing.

5.) 11 Dec 2019 13:05:15
We had a bad game bizz its simple as that nothing else.
You had a few this season too, nothing has changed we won you didnt, you have all fell into the trap that you will automatically play like that next time.
Football doesn't work like that, there are a thousand reasons for the opposite happening on 29th, just like there are a thousand reasons it could.
Seeker I know your hurting but corruption? Come on mate I've said before on here don't go down the cheating route you will lose that argument badly.

6.) 11 Dec 2019 13:18:53
Embarrassing is your post, we just won our tenth cup in a row, what is embarrassing is the constant nonsense about celtics timplosion and and how you welcome the chase, for the last time we can't chase someone who is behind us. What part of that is difficult to understand.

7.) 11 Dec 2019 13:47:40
Your mental to play to the refs whistle until u here that the players shouldve been doing there jobs and defended the offside goal the goal wouldn't have been scored the player had far too much space so again our defenders shut off again just my opinion.

8.) 11 Dec 2019 14:20:16
Seems there's a few posters that appear to be on the wrong forum?

9.) 11 Dec 2019 14:56:54
How long did it take for to think of that ripping reply.

10.) 11 Dec 2019 15:25:55
Foster had a great game but he's inconsistent otherwise he would still be playing in England. He won't have many games like that which is why I'm sure he'll be dumped on Celtic and he'll become Mr Inconsistent again.

11.) 11 Dec 2019 16:18:19
To steer, big investment not needed, we've played your lot of the. Park, like most other teams we've played, it's just a mental block we seam to have when playing your lot, but iMessage still confident we will win that 55 the title this season, if yous hadn't got big Frankenstein on loan, we would have seen a cricket score on Sunday past.

12.) 11 Dec 2019 16:59:00
I normally would reply to praline, but come on, we are top of league, we have just won a cup and we have beaten you twice with no reply, if only our goal keeper didn't do what he is paid for.

13.) 11 Dec 2019 18:12:58
Dumb and dumber lol.

14.) 11 Dec 2019 18:17:01
A lot of players on Sunday didn’t have a great game . Kent etc . just wait till we turn it on full pelt . WE WILL HAVE OUR DAY . Stevie gs words.

15.) 11 Dec 2019 18:55:45
Behind us in titles won, league cups, trebles, head to heads etc.

We welcome the chase!

16.) 11 Dec 2019 20:20:48
C of I roc, there is no telling them that mate. they just don't listen, I've posted the same on here a few times, count the titles.

17.) 11 Dec 2019 21:09:10
If brains were dynamite etc lol.

I teally don't think we should be risking the young lad at such an important point in the season. I think it would be so unfair on him. No way Stevie will take a chance. Flanagan or Polster for me every time. Young Patterson will get his chance but not yet!

It kinda worries me that he is now 25 and has had a crack at the top flight before without success. That said, he has been impressive in the Championship and scored a good goal v Hibs when he had little or no service all game. The honest reply from me is I don't know how he would do. Is he worth a punt? Probably not as that shower he is with will want too much from us for him. And it would pain me to see them pick up any money at all for the lad.
