Just heard that the English FA are cancelling this year's league competition re all leagues.
Anybody else heard this? If so it would really be a brass neck for the SFA to award the mhanks and the feeder club the leagues.

1.) 26 Mar 2020 14:22:03
It's still in discussion. Nothing decided yet. Anywhere.

2.) 26 Mar 2020 15:17:50
Got your fingers crossed?

3.) 26 Mar 2020 19:31:20
It’s the leagues below League 2 who have all declared season null and void due to their financial predicaments making a decision now allows them to prepare better financially.
The FA are in discussions regarding FA Cup but are expected to want to complete current season if possible and will wait a good while yet (as they can afford to) before making any decisions league wise.
It’s a shame for some of the clubs who had mathematically confirmed promotion tbh unlike our league where only certainty is that top 4 would have made top 6 after split U think.

4.) 27 Mar 2020 08:40:22
Ah right. I've picked this up wrong.

5.) 27 Mar 2020 09:13:34
Don’t think the Conference league the 1 directly below a League 2 have declared this season null and void, just the next 4 divisions below in the English Pyramid system.

{Ed001's Note - you are right, it is below the National League that has been declared null and void. So the 4th division down from League Two, as the National League consists of 3 divisions.}

6.) 28 Mar 2020 08:34:46
Yeah Col I certainly have my fingers crossed. Fingers crossed that we all come through this sorry mess unscathed. Fingers crossed that we all still have jobs and fingers crossed that during lockdown we still command a wage to look after our families and pay the bills. Since your mob are demanding a league title without completing a season then take it because personally I couldn’t give a monkeys. Celtic have no class or shame and quite frankly it is embarrassing.

30 Jan 2020 19:53:30
Sky now reporting we have enquired about Kamberi on loan from Hibs with an option to buy.

1.) 30 Jan 2020 20:16:34
Interesting one.

2.) 30 Jan 2020 20:17:25
And he hates NL they had major issues at hibs.

3.) 30 Jan 2020 20:45:43
Maybe hell push it through though hibs will be having none of it.

4.) 30 Jan 2020 22:58:38
Unless we’re willing to furnish them with something of ours kinglaudrup.

I don’t know what to make of this one, always said he looked capable, on the fence as to whether he’d cut the mustard or not.

01 Jan 2019 21:23:47
Hearing from a neighbour who has been sent a text from his best pal. He says the pal lives next door to Graham Shinnie and he has maintained he has signed a pre contract with us. Don't shoot the messenger guys, just passing on what i've heard.

{Ed033's Note - His best pal doesn't wear a suit does he? :)

1.) 01 Jan 2019 23:37:25

I trust you. You are a Bear without doubt. Was your neighbour lip reading?

I need to know.

2.) 02 Jan 2019 06:55:41
Ha ha, maybe i dreamt this, coolatballet! Hope so as I don't rate Shinnie. Waa he not on our books as a youngster?

3.) 02 Jan 2019 09:16:08
Always says shinnie would be a good signing! But with the number of centre midfielders at us just now it looks unlikely. I can't see us buying coulibaly in summer so maybe happen. Again when we signed Ryan Jack everyone says he wasnt good enough. shinnie would be a good signing.

4.) 02 Jan 2019 09:19:04
Are you allowed to sign a pre contract for a club in the same country? 🇬🇧.

5.) 02 Jan 2019 09:35:23
Not sure Yately. I thought we had done this before but can't recall who it was for. Or maybe it was Ryan Jack? Did we not sign him on a pre contract?

6.) 02 Jan 2019 09:39:31
Yes, I'm certain you are yately1.

7.) 02 Jan 2019 09:52:30
Think it depends on what country you are in. We signed Jack on a pre contract did we not? Or maybe it was because the window had closed.

8.) 02 Jan 2019 12:18:56
Rite bears if there was 3 signing thro the door in Jan who would u want mine Davis, shanklands worth a punt, and last Alan Hutton.

9.) 02 Jan 2019 12:43:42
You can sign pre contract with anyone. Only thing the same country signing is if they are under 23 for the development compensation. Its higher if player plays in same country but cheaper if say we got youngster on pre contract from England.

10.) 02 Jan 2019 13:39:56
we had Andrew Shinnie don't think Graham.

11.) 02 Jan 2019 13:40:22
they are brothers.

12.) 02 Jan 2019 14:34:37
Aye Deeb, googled it earlier!

06 Apr 2017 22:42:47
I'm hearing from a reliable source that MOH is absolutely hating life at Rangers and can't wait to leave. Also, the players in general are not enamoured with PC or his training methods.

Apparently during one session he was advising them to "caress the ball". Nobody had an idea as to what he was on about!
Funnily enough I heard his after match comments the other night and for the life of me I didn't know what he was talking about. Worrying times.

1.) 06 Apr 2017 23:39:04
Because he has been found out for being the avarage at best player he is pace and nothing else

2.) 07 Apr 2017 00:51:49
Need to suck it up and get on with it if they aren't happy tough the fans have had 5 years of it being tough and soldierd on as for MOH if he isn't happy bolt won't be missed.

3.) 07 Apr 2017 08:02:18
A first touch like nacho novo, brutal!

4.) 07 Apr 2017 09:05:48
"Caress the ball" means look after the ball, good touch, find a team mate, you know the basics of a good footballer. the players should start listening to Pedro rather moaning! The extra Wednesday training session should be spent on hitting the target our poor goal return is why we are so far off the pace.

5.) 07 Apr 2017 10:53:15
Ohh a coach with some actual ideas who doesn't want to hump it beyond the fullbacks like your normal Scottish coaches. No wonder our players are getting a shock. They done it to PLG and they will try to do it to PC but our club needs to be modernised.

6.) 07 Apr 2017 11:23:58
Yeah caress it, look after it, keep it, hold onto it, control it. Can't do any of the above and don't understand what the manager is talking about. Doesn't surprise me one bit. Team full of 3rd division players wanting to play kick and rush because they got found out this year

7.) 07 Apr 2017 14:07:03
If that's the case maybe they should spend the extra day on Wednesday doing some english lessons as it's quite simple to understand what is meant by "caress the ball". Sounds more like players are either thick or acting facetious.

8.) 07 Apr 2017 12:56:45
Jim Baxter, Pele and George Best all talked about caressing the ball, but you're saying the players don't understand what it means? And maybe MOH hates it because he's not up to it, he's been found out as someone who couldn't caress the ball if his life depended on it. Funny, most players have been reported elsewhere as really enjoying the training sessions, but obviously it's a rumours site so you can say the first thing that comes into your head.

9.) 07 Apr 2017 13:22:13
I will drive him or any other of the bang average players we have on our books to whichever team in the uk they "think" will want to employ them, only Foderingham and the youngsters excluded from that!

10.) 07 Apr 2017 13:24:13
Could be something in it as anytime I have seen footage of them in training the players have looked a bit non plussed when Pedro has been talking to them, not much to go on I know but wouldn't surprise me all the same.

11.) 07 Apr 2017 13:28:51
Both MCKay and Ohalloran are major under achievers at rangers principally because they both have ability but for whatever reason don't produce often enough. In O'haaloran's case he hasn't produced since joining the club. They can both go. Get some decent cash for them and march on.

12.) 07 Apr 2017 13:38:34
Well said Reidy09, its not exactly rocket science and if a pro footballer doesn't no what that means we really are in trouble. and as for MOH, i'm absolutely hating him being in the squad.

13.) 07 Apr 2017 13:41:28
Why not say hold it, pass it, play it. Keep it simple. Always the best way. Obviously not for the football managers on here.

14.) 07 Apr 2017 15:07:46
They don't understand 1 word and you want to replace it with 4. still think they won't get it as they just don't care nor want to buy in as they are use to the easy holiday camp they had under the bread man and going back to mccoist times as well.

15.) 07 Apr 2017 15:57:31
Seeker, how do you know he doesn't use these terms as well? Hold it, pass it, play it, nothing there about touch and control, which is what real players understand by 'caressing' the ball.

16.) 07 Apr 2017 22:53:33
Wait and see what caressing the ball will mean to Pedro when he listens to 50,000 bears baying for his blood. I just have a really bad feeling guys. I hope to god I'm wrong please believe me. I always try and remain positive but I just can't shake the feeling. And btw wee ecky I didn't make up the post. It's what I've heard from someone close to MOH. Maybe someone will bail me out?

17.) 08 Apr 2017 13:32:39
MOH has been a major disappointment since joining us, McKay plays one good game in five, Halliday, Waghorn and Kieran haven't had a decent game in the Top league. Personally this would be the first bunch I would target to offload and hopefully secure some transfer fees on.
Problem is that you then need five replacements plus replacements for the three at the end of their contracts and that means that Pedro needs to sign eight quality players jut to stand still albeit with a better quality of player.
To secure the quality required we need to find some real gems at relatively low cost or we just continue on the downward spiral that we have been on for years.

25 Jan 2017 18:29:46
Just heard Ryan Christie thinks he is going to the second biggest club in Scotland in a loan deal with the sheep. I think it's a right slap in the face to his parent club, rating them only third biggest.

1.) 25 Jan 2017 21:58:13
his popularity ratings will be through the roof with both sides lol.

2.) 25 Jan 2017 23:08:57
Could be worse seeker, could be going to the 3rd biggest team in Glasgow, yourselves.

3.) 25 Jan 2017 23:57:17
Some people have very short memories and selective memories at that!

4.) 26 Jan 2017 00:10:52
Ha ha Bhampot! I knew you couldn't resist! Obviously as a fan of the world's most successful club, I will disagree with you.

Delighted with last night's scoreline but how many agree with me that we are just lacking that wee bit? Hagi, aside from a couple of good moments, was very poor, losing possession and giving the ball away etc. I think the big problem is the lack of atmosphere, however I have a theory in that the teams that can somehow overcome this, whether it is by using sports psychology therapists or whatever, will be more likely to have a successful season. On the plus side, we have played 3 games, scored 7 goals without reply, and, apart from maybe 2 instances, have not even looked like conceding. If we can keep grinding out the wins we will be hard to overhaul in the second half of the season. Btw I thought Jack and Kamara absolutely strolled the game last night. I really think they are class players and vital to the team. Great goals ny Barisic and Kent.

1.) 13 Aug 2020 15:44:42
I actually thought St Johnstone started really well and actually reminded me of the 2 Hearts games after the winter break by getting into Rangers faces.
The difference this time was the players never panicked.
Like you said, Jack and Kamara were composed in the middle.
Kent was willing to run at them.
Barisic's crossing was exceptional.
And we are still keeping clean sheets.
Consistency will be our key and we haven't hit top gear yet.
Only negative - I'd love to see the new strikers score sooner rather than later. Just for their own confidence. 👍
One game at a time though.

2.) 13 Aug 2020 16:28:42
If you think the St Johnstone players got into the faces of the players early on wait till you see Sunday. No doubt Holt will be telling them to get right in about us with their usual enthusiastic challenges. Just hope the ref is strong and stamps on it very quickly.

3.) 13 Aug 2020 17:29:17
Once the players are up to full speed think we need to be more attacking play either jack or Kamara with 2 upfront esp at Ibrox finding the form to breaking down teams who sit deep is the downfall last season I recon we played Celtic off the park the majority of the games Last season and before as we have the players to do so if teams come at us, scoring early opens up the game and allows us too play football.

19 Jun 2020 20:00:51
Well well, what a shambles! Who's suing who and for what?
At least we are not directly involved, yet! Thpught at the time the haste to get the leagues finished (wonder why? ) would cpme back to bite somebody on the ass.
Any bets there is another hasty reconstruction plan that will be passed this time. And with the added threat from Buzz Lightyear and his crew of the money that will be lost if reconstruction doesn't get voted for. Any takers?

1.) 19 Jun 2020 22:28:54
Can't beat a wee bit of bickering.
Especially since Rangers predicted the financial liabilities to Sky etc and were rebuffed by Doncaster and the SPFL.
Now Hibs and the Sheep are looking at cost cutting.
You reap what you sow. 👍.

2.) 19 Jun 2020 22:53:51
seeker how much do you want to bet for charity, there will be no reconstruction for next season, hearts and thistle will be tied up in legalities for months with the lying spfl mob.

3.) 20 Jun 2020 08:31:37
Let them all get on with it, our Club will put Rangers FC first, that I believe, because, one thing I'm certain of is, there is not another Club in this country that would feel anything for us if we were in this situation.

16 May 2020 11:35:06
How come the Dutch league has been called null and void with no titles, promotion or relegation with Champions League and Europa League places based on current positions? Ajax were miles ahead but their manager has said that although it is a pity he fully understands the decision and has sympathy with the authorities stating there are more important issues than football at the moment.

Meanwhile, here we have a divisive and corrupt organisation run by one club who's board, manager, players and captain pull all strings possible, including bullying, coercion, and even threatening clubs with no fee payments if they don't vote a certain way, and then when they do vote the 'wrong way' their vote is inexplicably lost only to reappear, among promises of league reconstruction and glamour friendlies, as the opposite.

Then, when my club, along with others, call for an egm to put forward a proposal to carry out an independent investigation into the corrupt organisation, we are castigated, ritised and ridiculed from every quarter, even though we have publicly stated that we will pay for it.

Then, a third of clubs, ones who were obviously concerned at the goings on within this organisation and were not afraid to speak up (like the rest) voice their concerns and nothing can be done about it. How wrong must that sound to people looking in from other countries? Doncaster, McLennan and McKenzie don't even need to try and hide their affiliation to one club anymore.

It is so blatant it would actually be laughable if it weren't so criminal. I really hope we are fully committed to a legal challenge with this. Otherwise we would be better getting used to just assuming the position as this will only be the beginning. The only funny thing about this is the proposed *8.75 in a row. Forever to be referred to as this.

1.) 16 May 2020 12:03:46
Biggest joke Clyde saying needs an investigation then abstain from vote either a friendly Against or loanees from Mhanks.

2.) 16 May 2020 12:41:54
Very true Seeker these corrupt bas###ds need taking down big time 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇦🇺😎⚽️👍.

3.) 16 May 2020 13:44:35
Ok Seeker we’re all annoyed by the whole situation but if you’re going to go on a rant at least try and get the facts straight. Ajax were not miles ahead, in fact they and AZ Alkmar were both on 56 points and only separated by goal difference and the team in third were only 6 points behind so the situation in Holland was quite different.
Yes we all wish things were different but realistically would we be actually be happy with needing a global virus and the league being cancelled to stop them winning? I for one would rather beat them on the pitch and stop them that way. And before any of this started we were all raging about how we’d gone and thrown the league away since Christmas.
Yes the spfl is shockingly run and yes the people running it clearly favour them, unfortunately we are currently in the opposite situation to what it was like in the 90’s when David Murray was the big shot and had the major influence. Now it’s them and Lawwell that are able to call the shots. It’ll be a long road to change that but the best way for it to happen is to start winning again on the pitch and become the dominant force once again.
We used to laugh at them for all their wailing moaning and nashing of teeth and called them stupid and paranoid for it. Well now unfortunately It’s us that are acting that way.

4.) 16 May 2020 16:32:22
Gers 1978 this is one of the best posts I have seen on this forum and is the perfect antithesis to some of the paranoia on here. The SPFL are poorly ran and their is incompetence within those employed however it was club chairmen arguing with each other in the lower leagues not the Premiership that caused the issues. Can we stop saying this is Celtic controlling things. As you guys saw in the 90's when you are winning everything there is no need to cheat or force any issues and you are in the ascendance and did the talking on the pitch. Now Celtic and are in that position and don't need any help off the pitch as they win everything on it.

5.) 16 May 2020 19:17:35
Paranoia my azz, blatant cheating, with refs on the park and people in positions of rule off it, I’m not forgetting all that referee decisions in a hurry, WORSE CORRUPTION I've EVER WITNESSED IN MY LIFE, and people called me paranoid when I said I wouldn’t be surprised if Marseille bribed CSKA Moscow in 1992-93.

6.) 16 May 2020 19:41:33
Seeker, nail on the head, if my ipad didn't keep uploading i would have put up a post identical to your op, mate, let's face it when we were coming back, up the leagues all of the premier teams would except the fight for second place, without opening there mouths about the corruption, for fear of getting the same treatment as.

We got, back to bottom league, fought our way back up, because i'd imagine lawell, mcllenen, and co will know they disagreed with celtic, pal.

7.) 16 May 2020 22:43:14
I must have read the Dutch information wrongly gers1978 as I thought Ajax were well in front. As for the SPFL and celtic, the situation is far from what it was during the Murray years imo. It is so blatant and I can never remember such skullduggery as getting votes changed and bullying and coercion. It is now so out there that I fear it will hardly matter what we do on the pitch, everything is loaded in their favour.

Even the so called impartial compliance officers have had Rangers players suspended at the top of a hat while their players get off with doing the very same things. When one of them does get 'done' it turns out he's out injured anyway so why bother, unless it's to appear impartial. This is corruption of the highest order and it is time there was a clearout. Pass the laxatives.

8.) 17 May 2020 05:32:33
Aye we were certainly controlling things in 2008 when the governing body bent over backwards to help us during that momentous cup run to the UEFA final. 4 games in 8 days. Well done! And compounded by an ex SPL board member years later telling the press he had been approached by another club's chairman imploring him not to help us in any way. Wonder who that was?

15 May 2020 22:05:19
The Glesca budgie hated other birds so much. His owner paired him up with another budgie for company. Next morning the other budgie was dead on the bottom of the cage. The man thought 'I'll sort him out" and went out and bought a parrot with the biggest, most vicious looking beak and put it in with the Glesca budgie. Next morning the parrot is lying dead on the bottom of the cage, both feet in the air.

The man is raging and says "Right, that's it. I'll sort that budgie out for good" and puts a torn faced, huge hawk in beside him. Next morning the hawk is lying feet up, dead as a dodo on the bottom of the cage. But this time the Glesca budgie is sitting there, alive but featherless. "Nice try, big man" said the Glesca budgie, "i had to take my jacket off for that one.

1.) 15 May 2020 23:13:24
Seeker, i think its you that needs your jacket after that, mate, lol.

2.) 15 May 2020 23:46:36

Possibly the funniest one of you have posted yet.

Do you not think he is a quality holding midfielder if the reports of 10m are correct? If so, why gamble on bringing in an inferior player for less money? Doesn't make any sense. He is quality as evidenced by his performances against top sides.
