Reports in one of the rags that both Cerny and Sterling could face bans for their conduct at Hampden and afterwards on social media. Could be anything from a two to an eight game sanction against Cerny. Wonder how that one will go? Could be the last time we see him in the League. Folly in the extreme. Madness!

Seeker the Sequel

1.) 18 Mar 2025 14:33:50
He won't get an 8 game ban for spraying water stop wetting the bed.

2.) 18 Mar 2025 14:37:22
Funny though and the cretins are greeting, that'll do for me.

3.) 18 Mar 2025 14:39:52
If that were to happen I'd want and expect the club to drag the SFA and Police Scotland through the courts.

4.) 18 Mar 2025 14:40:43
Would be insane for Sterling to get any form of ban. especially as fans of both sides have called each others stadiums a lot worse on social media.

5.) 18 Mar 2025 14:52:37
It was always going to happen that they would both get bans. Funny at the time but it's plain stupid really. Barjami might as well.

6.) 18 Mar 2025 15:28:13
Exactly that storm. What was the point?

7.) 18 Mar 2025 15:37:32
Be a joke if anything done, no harm done to anyone and would open a can of worms for future games, nothing surprises me anymore in this world especially the madhouse for those offended in Scotland.

8.) 18 Mar 2025 15:37:36
Yet Griffiths got nothing for tying scarfs to goalposts and wiping his nose on the corner flag.

9.) 18 Mar 2025 15:43:21
Andymc but he isn't a fan and the rules have something in them about being disrespectful when it is done by those linked to the club. won't be 8 matches but I suspect they both will be punished for what are both stupid unthinking acts.

10.) 18 Mar 2025 16:03:05
Storm I believe that if anything it will be fines mb a suspended two game ban

Rangers will fight this all the way.

11.) 18 Mar 2025 16:25:17
Has anyone actually seen footage of the incident. I only saw it in real time and thought he was trying to spray the water at the Rangers player who ran off in celebration ahead of him. Maybe I'm wrong but I certainly didn't think if was intended to go into the crowd.

12.) 18 Mar 2025 16:31:46
Cooper it won't open a can of worms as there's been an open and blatant two-tier justiciary in place in Scotland for years.

13.) 18 Mar 2025 16:57:33
The wee rat Griffiths got fined £1000 in court for kicking a smoke bomb into the crowd whilst on loan at Dundee. Celtic fined him £15k on top of that and Dundee another £1000. This was water from a water bottle. Its just beyond ridiculous. Celtic only trying to appease their rat fans and to distract from the fact Rangers have pumped them the last two games.

14.) 18 Mar 2025 16:59:28
Continued from my last comment. No ban was discussed or given to Griffiths. No involvement from SFA.

15.) 18 Mar 2025 17:17:49
It shouldn't have happened, but it was completely harmless.

16.) 18 Mar 2025 17:29:18
If Celtic are so intent on punishment for Cerny and Sterling then hopefully they'll then turn their attention to finding the muppets that threw objects at our players at the end of the game….

17.) 18 Mar 2025 17:49:38
Bathgate it shouldn't happen at any game but fan behaviour and player behaviour are two different things.
One of ours threw something at the fenerbace keeper during the game.
Their reaction over water is ridiculous but its a distraction attempt to get their fans away from the result.

18.) 18 Mar 2025 18:00:14
Their fans won't mind too much about the result on Sunday when they're lifting the SPL in May.

19.) 18 Mar 2025 18:20:34
Jzer this is my thoughts too, I believe he chased Bajrami down the line, the bottle was not pointed int the crowd imo.

20.) 18 Mar 2025 18:21:33
Do I think they will get a ban -yes
Do I think it was harmless and nobody was hurt -yes
Was it funny af -of course

However that being said, we have to be careful as it could be classed as trying to incite crowd trouble.

21.) 18 Mar 2025 18:22:26
On the plus side, any SPFL ban will keep them fresh for the Europa League?.

22.) 18 Mar 2025 18:26:21
A eight game ban for skooshing water?, heard they were asking what was in the bottle, just Timmy Tears.

23.) 18 Mar 2025 18:33:53
Seeker. Hampden?

We played at the piggery and we play at at Ibrox next!

Facts!

24.) 18 Mar 2025 19:06:56
Correct BBJ could you imagine if one of their players done it to our fans at ibrox this place would be in an uproar.

25.) 18 Mar 2025 19:08:23
He was trying to skoosh one of our players? Come on it's all over the place I have seen it plenty of times and every time it was in at Celtic fans.

26.) 18 Mar 2025 19:11:40
Just seen a video of one of their supporters throwing what looks like a plastic bottle at Nico Raskin . The guy throws it and sits back down so it should be easy to identify him, arrest him and ban him . Funny how we haven't heard anything about these actual dangerous incidents.

27.) 18 Mar 2025 20:23:05
They should get fined and a telling off can't see how it would result in playing bans. Ref took no action at the time.

28.) 18 Mar 2025 20:27:31
A number of players behaviour was questionable and each incident should be investigated and dealt with as the authorities see fit.

We don't half go over the top at times.

29.) 18 Mar 2025 21:05:21
Yer maws, don't know where I got Hampden from ?.

30.) 18 Mar 2025 21:26:48
I agree Storm. If it is their players/ supporters then we want action but forget the times when our fans have misbehaved, the glass bottle being thrown at the Celtic physio and causing him actual bodily injury, broken glass needing to be removed from the penalty area causing the game restart to be delayed. never heard any shouts then for action to be taken. why things will never get any better.

Yes, Cerny's action was harmless in itself, but would we be saying the same if it caused one idiot to breach the security and attack one of the players or management?

31.) 19 Mar 2025 05:57:41
I seem to mind it was pretty roundly condemned on here and by Celtic and msm and rangers, anything thrown onto the field of play should be called out publicly, our club should be all over this, as we're theirs at the time, and it's what we as a club should be doing, not whataboutery, common sense, cerny n bajrami were diddys n will be punished, if their fans scored a winner at ibrox and ours done it, it would be everywhere with them wanting heads, not having a pop, sorry, but spare the platitudes.

32.) 19 Mar 2025 05:59:06
Agreed Angus. It takes the shine off the actual game as well.

33.) 19 Mar 2025 06:33:29
Not "there fans, " I meant "their team"?.

34.) 19 Mar 2025 07:46:15
Perceptual reality, if it was the other way round we'd be fuming. Same as if they'd scored a winner rather than us, the player stats would have been completely different for what would have been effectively the same game.
Basically, it was ill advised as could have incited a riot, but I've yet to see footage that shows he sprays it at fans rather than right in front of him and can anyone confirm if Sterling actually wrote that post, if so, our media people wouldn't be happy, once again it was ill advised.
I will say that what fans everywhere get away with every week is crazy and wouldn't be accepted in normal life, let alone a building with 20 cameras in it?

35.) 19 Mar 2025 09:47:19
There fans that threw things at our players should be banned also fork.

Also the difference is we won 3 points which means nothing towards the league that lot will be celebrating at least a double in a couple of months maybe a treble.

We go way over the top who agreed.

36.) 19 Mar 2025 10:03:52
I didn't say they shouldn't. I said it should be called out like they done, although I never mentioned banning supporters who do this anywhere in my post, I tend to agree though; to many r soles in both supports.

37.) 19 Mar 2025 10:29:45
This is what The VicTims do!

Get beat and they have a royal meltdown. They have become so privileged it's embarrassing!

They will do everything they can to have our team punished.

38.) 19 Mar 2025 16:17:05
Iif the post i seen was the right one sterling was clever and didn't actually say Celtic or rubbishhole used the old . and left it up to peoples biased minds ?.

39.) 19 Mar 2025 16:19:58
Id also take a one or two game ban give cerny a nice wee rest before bilbao game ?.

40.) 20 Mar 2025 10:48:58

24 Mar 2025 09:29:36
Regarding the rumours of the likes of Boyle, Mulligan, (dare I say it! ) Shankland etc, and the meltdown from some quarters on here, personally I think it's decent business as it bolsters the squad with low cost, low wages and decent players who, in the case of Boyle and Shanks, would provide cover and potentially have an impact coming off the bench. Don't think for a minute either would ever be a regular starter as imo we do need better for the first team. Mulligan I like in any case, so I think his signing could be especially prudent given his potential. Just my opinion guys.

Seeker the Sequel

1.) 24 Mar 2025 10:39:11
I'd rather have Shankland than Boyle. TBH, i wouldn't want both.

2.) 24 Mar 2025 10:50:24
I would take them for squad players if wages low, a couple of experienced Scottish players would only benefit the team.

3.) 24 Mar 2025 10:56:43
Boyle a few years ago would have been a decent signing but not now, I don't think .
Not keen on Shankland either but at least he would be another Scot and a Rangers supporter to add to the squad .

4.) 24 Mar 2025 10:56:45
I haven't heard anything on Boyle, and don't have any connections with Hibs, so can't check it - but have no reason to doubt John and can see this being the case if we've had a rejection on another deal.

I can however confirm that we do have offers out for Shankland and Mulligan - however, both packages are significantly lower than what the player were expecting.

5.) 24 Mar 2025 12:26:57
Mulligan not even getting 500 a week at dundee. Surely we can make that up to a few grand EHL.

6.) 24 Mar 2025 12:38:44
Paul he said lower than what they were expecting, not what they are paid just now.

7.) 24 Mar 2025 13:08:03
Don't know hee haw about contracts but I would expect guys like Shankland and Boyle would expect a decent wage to come to Rangers.
And why would we give them that if most are seeing them as bench warmers.

8.) 24 Mar 2025 13:17:42
Probably why paul said surely we can make it up to a few grand then. Not once did he say we offered lower than what he is paid. Boyle and shankland also don't play the same position so don't understand the "I would rather have him than him". That's like saying you would rather have buffon instead of pirlo.

9.) 24 Mar 2025 13:49:11
Paul, he may be on that now, but his agents had an expectation of a salary from us and our offer is nowhere near that.

Heard the offer we made Shankland was in the region of a third of what his team were expecting.

10.) 24 Mar 2025 14:43:35
Don't know Igamane, but Raskin got 2 years left on Contract. If both don't sign extensions we sell ASAP because don't want same Alfie and whatsisname scenario.

11.) 24 Mar 2025 17:09:56
Shanklands goals have dried up, a contract he could have commanded 6 months ago he is not getting from anywhere now.

Personally I like him and hope he joins, good player for squad.

12.) 24 Mar 2025 17:51:13
Bee82 you can always read what i said again. As i didn't say anything like that ??.

13.) 24 Mar 2025 18:12:20
Is this new wage structure going to work? I agree not giving anyone more than 20k unless they are special but but we must have offered them somewhere in region of 4-5k a week which is nothing for us and leon king supposedly earning double that no wonder they want more.

06 Mar 2025 19:47:28
I have no words. Brilliant, just brilliant.

22 Feb 2025 17:50:44
I don't usually leave early, even if we are losing, but that performance today was shocking. Pathetic and insipid, there seemed to be no fight at all in the team. I can just about accept a defeat if we show effort and commitment but there was absolutely nothing there today. This was the squad that hammered Celtic 3 nil. Have they stopped playing for the manager? Worryingly, Clement just seemed to stand there passively instead of trying to rouse the players. He has to start kicking bottles and upturning kit bags, ranting and raving and getting right into their ribs. That's me changed my mind again. I can't defend that showing in any way shape or form. Time for the manager to go. Dreadful, just dreadful.

Seeker the Sequel

1.) 22 feb 2025 18:12:59
i agree seeker, i had friends from barcelona there today, they are coming ti mine tomorrow for lunch, i'm embarrassed they saw that today, shocking, but those players were a disgrace, no fight and no ambition,

2.) 22 Feb 2025 19:00:16
No pass marks for anybody today, Tom. Pity about your friends having to watch that. They have my deepest sympathy. I'm wondering if we let Clement go and run to the end of the season with an interim? Reset and hopefully make the right choice to take over. Hooefully the takeover goes through as it will help attract the right man knowing funds will be available? Can't be any worse imo.

3.) 22 Feb 2025 19:22:35
Seeker, Clement will be here until the takeover is completed.

4.) 22 Feb 2025 20:35:53
Aye you could be right Mark, but as I've said, we can't be any worse if an interim comes in, can he?

20 Feb 2025 09:48:21
The Ibrox 49ers stadium?

Seeker the Sequel

1.) 20 Feb 2025 10:23:48
Can't see it changing if goes ahead. don't think Elland Road has. Leeds fans think they're away to be sold off to red bull.

2.) 20 Feb 2025 11:58:13
If 49ers do make financial input into gers hope 1st thing they do is get us out of hickey mouse league we're in. A team playing in front of 50k plus every fortnight and indication when playing in front 20k away fans must mean gers have semblance of negotiation because as soon as gers move to English league, SPL and others null and void, and LBH couldn't happen nicer bunch.

3.) 20 Feb 2025 12:50:05
Mickey mouse league we have win once in 13 years. Are we Donald duck then?

4.) 20 Feb 2025 13:17:37
Still a very poor league we play in, basil.

5.) 20 Feb 2025 13:32:12
Mickey mouse league you'd shout from the rooftops if we won it?.

6.) 20 Feb 2025 13:58:08
What league do you plan on them taking us to especially as UEFA don't allow that to happen. don't mention Welsh clubs as they were in England before there was an alternative league for them to play in.

7.) 20 Feb 2025 14:14:24
If we are as poor as we are at the moment and we are in a poor league, does that not make PC look worse?

8.) 20 Feb 2025 14:47:47
Poor but just finished top 8 in the Europa once a ger?, our league is on a par with league one.
Some infatuation with Clement Once a ger.

9.) 20 Feb 2025 14:53:26
A league we can't win Mystar I found sections of the Rangers support laughable. Surely we should be winning this so called Mickley mouse more often to have the right ro call it that?

10.) 20 Feb 2025 15:11:28
My star. You said it was a poor league. So if you follow your logic, Phil is struggling in a poor league with a budget 10x that of the rest outwith celtic. Then it doesn't exactly cover phil in glory, does it?

11.) 20 Feb 2025 15:45:03
Second in league to a team valued higher, qualified in the top 8 ? doesn't take away from the fact we play in a poor league Once a Ger.

12.) 20 Feb 2025 15:46:12
Basil lol man, so we don't play in a poor league is that what you're saying? get real.

13.) 20 Feb 2025 16:14:22
My star. Again you are saying Celtic team is valued higher but you also say that Idah and Engels are each not worth the £10m fees. So which is it? That's a contradiction.

14.) 20 Feb 2025 17:19:58
You do realise that Engels and Idah are two members of the team so it is entirely possible for both to be a fact.

15.) 20 Feb 2025 17:46:13
Coldo you make no sense at all.

09 Feb 2025 10:47:16
Hi Guys, Seeker here in a new guise. Hope everybody is well, especially Stormtrooper, whose sad troubles I read about this morning.
I really need to apologise to him after my insensitive show of banter that unfortunately got a bit out of hand.

There are a lot of good guys on here, including storm, whose heart I can tell is always in the right place, even given the frequent altercations he's had with the likes of myself, coops, Tom, my star and the rest.
As everybody says, we're all bluenose here and we all, to a man, woman and child, want what's best for RFC.

Storm, I hope you'll forgive me for being a bit of an arse. I really do hope we can put any differences behind us and enjoy the site for what it is - banter and debate among friends. Reading Tom and Mark's posts, I agree 100% with them and feel I'm almost like part of a family of good friends. Friends that argue and snipe, but still friends all the same.

Keep well everybody, especially the people who've lost loved ones or aren't too well themselves physically or mentally. I imagine the site can be a godsend to vulnerable people who need to escape if only for a few minutes at a time.

I believe the club will negotiate an alternative role for Barry and announce this at the same time as the new manager. That's if an early announcement is to be made as some posters have suggested. This would maybe sort of take care of any disrespect felt?
As for who the new manager is going to be, I have no clue. Suffice to say, whoever it is will get my full backing.

Who knows stig? I like young Barron and think his game is improving by the minute. Whether he has a starting place or will simply be a squad player, I honestly don't know. Come the revolution all will be revealed! Really looking forward to a bright future with the new owners/ manager (whoever it may be) / squad.

Going by the guys in the know, the good times are within touching distance. I've really felt for the supporters over the past 13 years. Exciting times ahead for us, that's for sure. One thing - there's never a dull moment following this great football club. Enjoy the journey guys, it's going to be a blast!
