Turnbull to Norwich bid accepted-
Looks like another great potential talent will be going South of the border. I would have loved to have seen him play for us, but we ain't competing financially like that unfortunately. Also we are going to have this lad but better in Aribo I feel and only at the cost of wages and a slight fee ( Sorry Charlton chairman GIRUY ) and with most players the lure of Prem EPL footy we would be gaining a sizeable fee if we sold on should he join. Watched some footage of the boy n he's very strong in the air and ground with skill.

I wish certain news/ blogs would refrain from Putting a ton of pressure on our soon to be "Wonderkid" coming in as if he gets off to a slow start there will be no where for him to hide from it. But I suppose he'll be fine as Zlatan n Nani will help him out. ✋😂🇬🇧

I'm looking forward to seeing our new line-up on the field! The way we have bought this window is a clear sign of intent from the board and also from PC. Once we clear some more players from the books It'll be much better too! I can see Mckay staying if he commits himself contractually and physically, but i have a gut feeling also that MOH could be used as part of a deal for Walker which will all but see off Mckay imo.

Now I know there have been people on here stating they know player's ect, but if you really did know them for instance Young Billy G, then you should be encouraging them to look beyond the £££'s sign n help their boyhood team surely, even if you had a chance encounter with ANY potential you got to be asking them the question of long-term future. Too many times young prospective star's have left n went to ruin all for a quick buck n a promise of glory only to find themselves in dier circumstances. Surely hanging it out, showing your worth n providing your parent club with some financial support as they have supported you. Barry Mck is an excellent example of sticking it out through thick n thin n coming out the other side. More should be done by ex player's n current player's to combat this. I know we ain't the club of attraction of days gone but we are still Rangers, we are still World Record Holders, we still have the belief that we can face any foe n win and most importantly us the fans have always stuck by our club. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

End of the day mate a footballers a human being so if there getting the chance to 10x there wage or even double it to secure better lives for there familys then like everyone would they would take it

It looks like Gilmore is off to England, I don't understand this, surely he would progress better at rangers because if he is as good as made out he will be playing first team football, then get a big money move

3.) 30 Jan 2017 15:01:48
Just the same as when rangers do it to other teams us along with Celtic hibs hearts excetra have been taking the best youths from all the smaller clubs for years with probably 10% making the grade we can't complain when it happens to us

4.) 30 Jan 2017 15:23:32
The boy Gilmour supports Celtic so let him go

5.) 30 Jan 2017 17:51:25
yes but there is the chance and it happens more than a lot of people think, that the boy ury or while still growing lose some of his ability that he has now its okay for Chelsea to gamble on that but we can't afford to be paying youngsters to stay we can't even afford a good cb.

before you all jump at me clint hill is good yes but not got the legs for another season I want sum1 wh can defend like him and that has some pace about them with a few years left in the tank!

6.) 30 Jan 2017 17:55:17
It is all guess work. We don't know whether it is the young lad that is seeing £ signs, or his parents that are being given a financial incentive for the boy to move or even whether the Rangers Board are happy to cash in on a deal that gives them £500k now and possibly builds a relationship with Chelsea that might see some of their young lads at Rangers on extended loan deals or even sees young Gilmour back at the club as a long term loanee.

If it is just about money then short term surely we could match Chelsea if we thought he was that much of a prospect!

So Sean Dyche would welcome JB back at Burnley apparently! Well when are you going JB?

As for the game on Sunday, we did what we could do! They played to the best that they could n it showed some of our players that they are well n truly sussed.

I never thought we could walk back into this league n stroll about owning the pitch but i thought our team was going to be so much stronger than last year. WOW was that a mistake, but tbf on paper it does look like that but this ain't Champ Manager. I will be honest n lay my cards on the table n say if we finish between 4th n 7th I would be ok with that, but not happy as i want to finish #1. In ALL fairness bears we are well off the pace n we need either to stick by MW n fund him properly, as I don't think he has been in all honesty. Or if we don't then we start again but if we do it's not going to be pretty, or take 5 mins to do either.

I don't see how you could be happy with finishing between 4th and 7th. Only the most deluded of fans believed we could win the league in our first year back but saying you'd be happy finishing 7th when we have the second highest budget/ wage bill in Scotland by quite a bit is absolutely ludicrous.

2.) 25 Oct 2016 13:34:38
I agree rutherglenbear, although i always said on here that we have to be patient and can't realistically expect rangers to win the premiership this season or quite probably even next, i will say its being very realistic and reasonable to EXPECT us to finish in the top 3 all things considering. To sum up my expectation of rangers in the league this season would be definitely in the top 3,no worse should we expect imo!

3.) 25 Oct 2016 14:08:46
I don't want rid of our manager but we should still finish second as selik game doesn't tell us where we are in the league its the other games that do and we have had a bad start. but we have been getting better and think we will finish strong #.

Would love to see him play for us, but it would need to be on a very reduced rate and pay as you play with landmark scoring bonuses to make up the lack of wages imho. The guy has the ability to cause chaos against defences and bag loads of goals, but unfortunately he also has a medical file the size of the Govan Health Centres GP practice. Similar guy would be Sturridge in every aspect too.

I'm sure we're involved in a tournament down south, can't remember the team but it's a lower league team hosting it but with big team's competing. I can't see nothing about it again, but here's hoping that it's still on.
