One of our guys (a tim unfortunately! ) was in at Auchenhowie today quoting for works. Ryan Jack was the only player in. Said he was hirpling good style though don't know if he was just trying to wind me up! I remember John25 saying it didn't look too good for the lad following his op. Really hope he is on the mend as we've greatly missed him.

The Seeker

1.) 31 Aug 2021 15:45:19
Excuse the pun, but I think his op was a 'hail mary', a last throw of the dice. Doesn't look good if he isn't even fully training yet.

2.) 31 Aug 2021 16:16:21
Hopefully Jack will be back soon we have definitely missed him.

3.) 31 Aug 2021 16:20:00
Saw Ryan Jack in the swimming with his kids the day we played Malmo, certainly didn't look like he was limping to me. Think he will be back fully fit in 6-8 weeks.

4.) 31 Aug 2021 16:42:42
Hope you're right John 👍.

5.) 31 Aug 2021 16:59:30
He certainly wasn't limping on Sunday when I seen him.

6.) 31 Aug 2021 17:24:35
Good news fifepl, the big eejit must have been at the wind-up 😡.

7.) 31 Aug 2021 17:50:31
The guy is still recovering. Knowing him he will be pushing hard to try and get back. If he has a heavy day there is every chance he may be limping as he is still recovering. Doesn't mean anything. The boy will hopefully be back soon and should be given every chance possible as on his game he is a midfield General that has everything in his game.

8.) 31 Aug 2021 17:58:22
No one at auchenhowie, it is closed down for a deep clean.

9.) 31 Aug 2021 19:47:15
Auchenhowie is completely shut down.

10.) 31 Aug 2021 19:55:15
Our guy was there at 2pm and saw Jack on his way round to quote for works.

I must say I was mightily impressed with Stevie"s after match interview tonight. You could clearly see he was delighted that his players shut the Maribor players and manager's big traps for them. At last we have another manager who gets what our great club is about. Steven has behaved impeccably despite attempts by all and sundry to derail his early tenure.

He is making sure his players do their talking on the park and has not put a foot wrong so far. He oozes class and listening closely to his interviews you get the feeling the club is once again in safe hands. That was a difficult game tonight against a very good side.

I was glad Andy Halliday had a good game. I think that some of the stick he has received has been bang out of order. Stevie obviously sees what he brings to the table on and off the park and that's good enough for me.

Thought McGregor's save was world class and well deserved as it was never a pen in a month of Sundays. Didn't know John Beaton was allowed to officiate in a European match involving a Scottish side! And one final thought- just how good is Connor Goldson?

A real gem has been unearthed this season. I thought he was absolutely immense tonight and looks to be the best CB in Scotland, and by some distance. Very pleased and a huge well done to everybody at our wonderful club, from the tea ladies to the boatd.

Our defence and Gk is different class, we were without flanagan and barasic. We are solid at the back. Mark allen deserves a lot of credit too. Not that long ago, myself included, questioned the need for a dof. Much more like the Rangers we know👍.

2.) 17 Aug 2018 06:25:04
Well said coldco, mark Allen is massive for us.

3.) 17 Aug 2018 07:04:49
100% agree, don’t think it’s unreasonable to say we have the best keeper and back four in the league, what we need is a prolific striker like Griffiths was for them a few years ago, doesn’t need to cost a fortune but needs to score more than he misses, for the money talked about Lafferty can be useful also. Need some back up for our sterling defence also.

4.) 17 Aug 2018 08:44:18
Said it on twitter yesterday Mark Allan has been our best appointment to date. Great scouting network and had the vision courage to say to King appoint Gerrard when the safe bet was someone with experience.

5.) 17 Aug 2018 16:46:49
No striker in the history of the game has ever scored more than he missed.

The Herald reporting Sadiq and Coulibaly signing deals.

The Seeker

1.) 10 Jul 2018 13:10:05
spot on seeker

Coulibaly now confirmed on club website

17 Jun 2018 23:29:32
Apparently we are interested in signing Jordan Jones. I think the boy would be a great addition. No doubt Clarke will play hardball on this but hey ho, it is what it is.

The Seeker

1.) 18 Jun 2018 05:21:58
Did we not try and fail in January?

2.) 18 Jun 2018 07:56:33
12 months left on contract and I’d guess on about £1-2k per week. I’d also say that he plays well against Celtic which can only be good.

3.) 18 Jun 2018 10:10:37
Send Hodson in the opposite direction what about wee Chris Cadden?

4.) 18 Jun 2018 11:07:19
I did know that Marco, but Stevie G wasn't in charge then. What"s your point, anyway? Only passing on a rumour

5.) 18 Jun 2018 12:36:07
I think he would be excellent back up for murphy. he's quick, powerful and still only 23. I wouldn't pay much more then 250k for him though and i would expect Killie to want more than that. No point splashing the cash in that area because Arfield and Windass can both play there if required.

6.) 18 Jun 2018 14:35:31
cannot believe we are bringing in guys like Arfield, Goldson and McGregor and folk still think we should sign Moult and Jones. Have a word man, SPL quality players aren’t what we need to take us to the next level, look at Docherty. Rangers fan and seemed a great buy, no really worked has it. The talent we could buy from abroad at a shade of the cost of what teams would chase here for a lesser player as well.

7.) 18 Jun 2018 17:14:08
Docherty hasn’t worked out? He’s 21 and only been here for 6 months. He signed a 5 year deal. He was signed as one for the future

27 Feb 2018 00:26:35
I'm hearing Declan John is struggling with an injury. Not sure what it is but apparently he's out for 4 weeks or so. Hoping this is rubbish as he's been brilliant for us. No doubt out guys will be dropping like flies with the OF game coming up.

The Seeker

1.) 27 Feb 2018 07:10:01
Heard the same not a good sign that, with Wallace being out for so long it’s not looking great hopefully he will hit the ground running! Massive game tonight with st Johnstone getting there first win in 5 months at home at weekend, there tails will be up. Hopefully murty keeps the same line up tonight and more of the same from doc in the middle!

2.) 27 Feb 2018 10:42:18
I seen this but only on social media, Murty said nothing about it in his press conference yesterday.

If true, i'm actually thankful Wallace is back, because he would need to go with either Hodson or Halliday at left back for the Old Firm game and nobody wants to see that haha.

People seem to be having a good go at Wallace now we have DJ but i'm looking forward to having them both fit, two good players in my opinion - strength in depth.

3.) 27 Feb 2018 11:45:38
Aye I saw Murty's presser. Hopefully the injury reports are bull as the wee guy has been great for us

4.) 27 Feb 2018 12:13:35
Hope if injured it's only minor for John. Both are good options at LB, and would suit different games. Wallace more defensively sound, bigger and more experienced, and John better going forward with the ball, but having both fit will only be good for us.

5.) 27 Feb 2018 12:45:50
Absolutely BlueIsTheColour, both have their qualities. Having both to choose from makes us more versatile.

6.) 27 Feb 2018 13:35:40
Papers say it's a hamstring injury, take from that what you will.

7.) 27 Feb 2018 17:14:23
Where is young beermats atm?

8.) 27 Feb 2018 19:10:31
Coming off the bench at Queen of the South.

9.) 27 Feb 2018 19:15:16
Beermats is on loan to queen of the south, I think bluebaws.

Let's have your apology DSGERS mate.

3.) 29 Aug 2021 15:16:54
Seeker dsgers apologised, everyone entitled to an opinion,
We totally managed game, Kyoto not that good.

29 Aug 2021 14:01:47
Big Leon superb. So pleased for the big guy, and how well did McCrorie play? Delighted. We dug in and ground it out. What an atmosphere ❤💙.

Good to see any team that Brown plays for failing!

13 Aug 2021 00:45:33
Nightmare trip to Alashkert for the second leg on the Thursday with the Glasgow derby on the Sunday. The way I see it we need to go all out to put the tie to bed at Ibrox so that we can send players who might not have been selected for the derby or who might start from the bench, to Armenia. They have a tough tie in Holland and will definitely need their best 11 to have a chance of going through. Could work out ok if we can put the tie out of sight in the first leg. Thoughts guys.

The Seeker

1.) 13 Aug 2021 08:21:03
Won’t work seeker we have a squad of 20.

2.) 13 Aug 2021 08:31:30
On second thpughts the whole squad will probably go, but key players might not need to play. It's a case of two long flights for some.

3.) 13 Aug 2021 08:50:23
We shouldn't be taking this team for granted especially the way we are playing. This team ain't in the play off for nothing.

4.) 13 Aug 2021 11:46:19
Seeker I’d leave roofe at home as suspended, let him be with family
Sweep is correct take nothing for granted.

5.) 13 Aug 2021 12:17:16
Good point John. I think Kamara would be eligible?

09 Aug 2021 08:48:14
Plenty stinging criticism from all quarters. As I thought the main crux of the criticism seems to be because of the return of crowds. What better way to recover than smashing Malmo out of the CL tomorrow? We need to get firmly behind the guys for the full 90 or 120 mins if that's what it takes. We are more than capable of getting to the groups and winning this league comfortably.

The Seeker

1.) 09 Aug 2021 09:36:11
Speaking of myself fans were spoilt last season so getting used to a defeat will take some doing but let's remember season will have highs and lows and its how we recover from the lows will determine our season. Massive game tomorrow.

2.) 09 Aug 2021 09:38:17
spot on seeker

the disgraceful rhetoric peddled by our gutter press is embarsssing

we only won league due to empty stadiums…

well there’s the respect shown for our record breaking unbeaten season where we amassed >100pts

hard hat time for players management and fans let’s stick together and show them all what we’re about.

3.) 09 Aug 2021 10:07:01
Well said Seeker I agree with every word.

4.) 09 Aug 2021 10:44:07
We had an empty stadium as well Trev, or do they not think that's relevant.

5.) 09 Aug 2021 11:04:43
Well said Seeker. 👏👏👏
Calm perspective inside the mayhem.

6.) 09 Aug 2021 11:32:11
Cheers guys, I don't get that we are suddenly crap after sweeping the rest of the league away last season. We reset and go again. The team needs us to get behind them 100% for the whole game tomorrow. We are more than capable of winning the match.

7.) 09 Aug 2021 14:23:04
Spot on Seeker my friend, We will certainly bounce back and take care of Them lot again. 🇦🇺🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️👍.

8.) 09 Aug 2021 14:24:20
Well said Seeker.

Couldn't agree more, chunky. Maybe the guy thinks he is better than he actually is. He was acrock last season, but as they say, you are only as good as your last game. Hope he does sign though as it shows he cares for the club and is committed to the cause.

Don't like going through this way but rules are rules. Remember the world record number of times a certain club like no other has benefitted from the rule 😁.
