Been told that Wolves are interested in Butland as Sa is expected to leave in the summer for the Saudi league. Possible that any deal for Silva could be offset/ reduced by the sale of Butland to Wolves. Clement likes him, I don't think he's worth the 15-20 million Wolves are asking.

silva looks tome like a guy whos been bought fir way above his value, there's better young scottish players imo, we have lost our way with regards to homegrown talent.
Ferguson and shankland should be rangers players and possibly doig, and definitely barron, there talent here waiting to be found we used to be renowned for our scottish players, captains and strikers, we took our eyes off the ball, allowed beale to waste millions while real talent in scotland walked away, ferguson and shankland would have crawled over hot coals to play for rangers, it's such a shame we didn't see what they could have been, we need someone who once again knows what a talented boy with roots at rangers can bring, its always a bonus having your heart in the club.

Silva for me falls into the same category as Goldson and Lundstrum. The sooner he is gone the better. Nothing but a poser with an inflated opinion of his own ability.
If Butland is to go then we need to maximise the fee we receive for him. We will need around £40m to bring in the level of player needed rather than sign more 3rd rate players with no fight and totally lacking in a winning mentality.

Silva couldn't hack it with that World power Wolves so that signing is very odd . Reminds me of Alfie Conn who didn't like the rain or the cauld and hid, he left Mr Bean at left back to do it all himself and we know he can't do it even when he has help . The manager surely must have clocked this pair before. he could drag the first 2 out the stand and they would do better.

Interesting rumour. He hardly kicked a ball for us last season so I won't be surprised to see him leave next summer, but he's on something like €80k a week. PC would have to persuade him to take a hefty paycut. If he can, maybe a move to the SPL would kick-start his career again.

The big questions are, Why is he surplus to requirements at Monaco? and why did he hardly kick a ball for them last season? Is he another one with underlying injury problems or does he have an attitude problem? We need good pros with no fitness problems to move the team forward . Those signings may not be as glamorous but being available and wanting to play every week is important too.

I don’t think Clement will sign players with a history of previous injuries. He is obviously unhappy with the number of these type of players we have on our books already and he seems very big on player fitness which is the way it should be.

Not aware of Cantwell having injury problems and although he was out of favour, I don`t think his attitude has ever been questionable. You can see watching him play that he wants to play and loves to play . If Martins is fit and has that attitude I have no problem with signing him, we just don`t need anymore Roofes, reserves from other clubs and guys who have been injured off and on for years. I asked the questions, I don`t know the answers but our scouts better know this before we sign this guy or anybody else.

He doesn't have injury problems. Before PC came in Martins was first choice RW, PC preferred to play Diatta and Martins never featured much from then on. I think he only started 2 or 3 games all season.

I’ve known of McAtee for a few years now. I remember he had a really standout season for Man City's reserve side and Pepe was calling him the next Phil Foden. The intention at that time wasn’t to send the player out on loan, but to keep him at Man City and just slowly ingratiate him into the team as they did with Foden - Obviously it hasn’t ended up that way.
That lad has enormous potential. He is very highly thought of by a club who won't sell him. We couldn’t get Tillman back, but McAtee would be an amazing consolation.

Loans are fine. That’s how Celtic got Jota and CCV. A try before you buy system actually makes more sense.
However, Celtic make sure they make those successful loans permanent afterwards. We didn’t with Tillman. So Celtic’s experience of the loan market has been great in recent years whereas ours hasn’t. This just comes down to poor running of the club. The academy needs to be looked at too and why more of those young guys don’t end up in our squad. Ross McCrorie got a move to England for a few million this summer while we persevere with Lundstrum who looks worse. I’m certain Greg Taylor could’ve done something for us rather than making millions for Kilmarnock. If we let the keeper McCrorie go he could easily be worth millions shortly after if he becomes a regular for club and country. I don’t think Lewis Mayo should’ve been sold and Balogun brought in. We look as if we lack creativity while Lowry lights the pitch up for Hearts.
Someone needs to have a serious look at his this club is being run.

I was told today that Lundstrum is looking to leave the club, however, there isn't much interest in him at present.
Kamara wants a move to Europe, hence why he has dragged out discussions with Leeds.
As I posted last week, we have pulled out of the deal for Panzo. He's unsure of a move this summer and there is interest from Germany and France.
Sakala will make a decision on his future by the end of the week.
Wright still dragging his heals over a move to Turkey.
Roofe has a tight calf which is being monitored, unlikely he will be part of the squad on Saturday.
Tuanzebe will play tomorrow night at a trialist with the B team in a bounce game.
The Colombian U21 defender, Kevin Mantilla, both we and Liverpool were interested in, has moved to the Argentine league so that deal is off.

Good info, if I am honest, I want all of these guys gone. I can understand Kamara wanting Europe, he would fit in well with Italian and French Leagues. Sakala would be better off moving to Saudi since he isn't going to get much game time unless we suffer a lot of injuries and Wright would be better off earning some money in Turkey since, again, I can't see him getting game time and in any event he is no where good enough to be part of the squad.
As for Lundstram, we will struggle to get rid of him! I watched him a number of times in his last season at Sheffield United and he was liability. I'm sure that most English Championship Teams are well aware of this.

Lundstrams "bad" year at Sheff Utd was in the EPL so there is no reason why Championship clubs would be wary of signing him . Funny that, if he downed tools they still kept picking him every week, some times players go off form or are playing with an injury, it doesn`t mean they have chucked it. Davies too, if he had such a bad time on loan, why did Sheff Utd want him back before we signed him?

The 6 Sheffield Utd fans I work with daily would dispute that in it's entirety, they did not pick him every week by the way during the last few months . Davies had 23 games for Utd and they cut the loan short and did not ask him back . @we are ready, Alfredo is ten times the player of dessers…I’ve no idea what he is or what our scouts seen in him.
My initial thoughts are he’s been signed because they thought he would be an Alfredo (the teams been set up for an Alfredo for 5 years) but what we’ve got is a guy that looks like he’s pulling a tractor, can’t pass, can’t shoot, can’t run, can’t hold the ball up! I’m really hoping it’s just match fitness.

Tuanzebe is a right footed centre back Beale, can play rb cb and can even play left back if he has to.
I dare say he could play cdm, if that’s what u mean mate but he’s predominantly a centre half mate. Good footballer, could easily play LCB with Goldson/ Souttar RCB would be a good signing if he can pass fitness test / medical.
