Having some inside knowledge of Douglas Park and how he operates you can be certain he will deliver the hammer blow at the correct point for Rangers when it will have maximum impact.

William King

1.) 17 Apr 2020 09:09:09
Would love for that to happen Willie, but doubt it will mate.

2.) 17 Apr 2020 10:33:01
Yes your honour, we seen the ballot slip is said no . Brilliant 👍👍.

3.) 17 Apr 2020 10:51:54
SPFL rule 182 - once an email vote has been sent it has been officially cast. 🤔.

4.) 17 Apr 2020 11:16:32
Our manager used same words as our chairman, this shows unity and clear support in our stance. We would not call for inquiry if we did not have evidence that highlights major wrong doing. Nor would we call for suspension of the 2 involved.
All will be revealed in due course.
Nobody shows their hand to the opponent before any game begins, hold tight and don’t fall into the bluff and counter bluff coming from SPFL and the media.

5.) 17 Apr 2020 11:29:35
Aye MrTup, but have 28 days to change the vote (rule god knows what one tho) .

6.) 17 Apr 2020 14:54:30
Yes Bluebilly, apparently so but at first the SPFL said Dundee never voted.
And also when the votes were announced nobody knew who had still to vote.
So how come Dundee knew there vote hadn't arrived as they submitted it in good faith?
And we now have an internal investigation at the SPFL being carried out by one of the main suspects in all the skulduggery!

7.) 17 Apr 2020 15:48:09
Yea outragous MacLennan said Dundee vote arrived at six but they phoned to say to discount it at half five .
Dundee released a statement last night saying they never sent the vote but out their foot in the ball . total joke full of lies over and over.

8.) 17 Apr 2020 16:11:18
Great point Tupac.

9.) 17 Apr 2020 18:38:17
50 odd years ago studied a wee bit of law, always recall learning about legal status of posting acceptance. Technology may have changed and we’ve moved from snail mail to email but the principle has not.

10.) 17 Apr 2020 23:45:33
I know some people that are close with park and he wouldn't open this can of worms without sufficient evidence of wrongdoing. You don't get to where he is in business by making amateur mistakes. There is more to this than has been reported or leaked.

11.) 18 Apr 2020 15:10:06
Correct Bankie, written communication always trumps verbal communication. As QC for Jags points out the email communication is deemed active at the time sent as opposed to received.

12.) 18 Apr 2020 15:28:12
Just heard that what park has could have serious legal consequences not only for SPFL in civil court but also for several people in criminal court.

I was at a legends dinner last night and Chris Boyd was there he was asked about Mark Allan and he said that he was not universally popular At Ibrox anyone know anything above his departure?

William King

1.) 15 Sep 2019 02:19:22
Not popular . is kris Boyd?

2.) 15 Sep 2019 09:40:31
A jazzed up chief scout, that’s all he was.

3.) 15 Sep 2019 09:44:20
Just as i feared in my last post, he jumped before he was pushed.

4.) 15 Sep 2019 12:33:46
Blue billy why the fear if he was causing issues and not delivering.

5.) 15 Sep 2019 12:50:38
not sure how Kris boyd would have any insider knowledge at rangers anymore.

6.) 15 Sep 2019 15:03:25
Mark Allen was massively unpopular at board level and I know it for a fact. Also, he tried to bring McInnes, and that’s unforgivable.

Some successful incomings may have been because of him but most could have been suggested by any one us. Gerrard, McGregor, Davis, Defoe, arfield. All easy picks. Kent was because of Gerrard. Not sure what else he’s done and not sure any of the other players couldn’t have been discovered on fifa or whatever game it is.

7.) 15 Sep 2019 15:37:21
Ok Glasgowrangersgooner, who's your choice to replace mark allen, as our new director of football mate?

8.) 15 Sep 2019 17:27:20
I for one am disappointed by his departure. Guy seemed to know what he was talking about and whatever you think of him, no one is going to get everything right.

It would be nice to see us go down the Ajax route of bringing in someone who has either played for or managed the club, with a good footballing brain. Years ago Walter would have been the ideal choice. Wouldn’t mind seeing someone like Souness take up the position (although I know that probably won’t go down well on here)

9.) 15 Sep 2019 17:37:03
No idea! I don’t know the individuals who do these jobs. My understanding is Allen promised certain outgoings for certain amounts of money and didn’t deliver.

10.) 15 Sep 2019 17:38:43
I heard it was partly to do with the failure to move deadwood players on. No matter the reason he has left the club in better shape than he found it. He has organised the club behind the scenes improving training ground set up and scouting networks. Would like to hope that we go out and bring someone capable of further improving our club.

11.) 15 Sep 2019 21:07:53
We don’t need a “director of football” as they call it. A made up job for a chief scout, that’s all it is. We can use Allen’s salary towards a new left back in January.

12.) 16 Sep 2019 00:50:35
Personally I'd like to see les Reed approached, the work he did at Southampton is unbelievable he would be able to set the club up for the next 15 years. Rick Witter I'm not sure you know how the wage system works Pal. can't use staff wages on players it's a different set up.

13.) 16 Sep 2019 06:22:40
It would be the current southampton director of football ross wilson for me guys. He was our first choice before we appointed mark allen and was very close to accepting the job back around 2 years ago now. It was loyalty at southampton as he wasn't long there and had been given free scope, to do pretty much what he liked. It shows he's a loyal guy but i do think he would take our director of football job now, of course if he was lucky enough to be asked.

14.) 16 Sep 2019 10:44:21
He is a massive loss. He's part of the reason we got Gerrard and bought and sold so many people at once. Hey maybe one of you guys can take over and we can get Alan Hutton and that Shankland character lol.

15.) 16 Sep 2019 12:34:16
Souness_ Remind me who he has "sold"?

Bought loads of players on the basis he could balance the books with outgoings. He is single handedly responsible for not being able to deliver this. Rangers tend to give away players at best, and pay them off at worst.

Allen had his job description restructured after a frankly shambolic series on non-outgoings this transfer window, and it was agreed he'd move on.

His inability to shift anyone for any notable amount of money is the reason our club are having to charge us 2million quid more than Celt*c are charging their supporters for Europa tickets. This was never the clubs intention, but we need to pay for the incomings and massive squad somehow.

I don't mind paying more, as we live and learn. What I do mind is nonsensical support of a guy who couldn't do his job properly.

16.) 17 Sep 2019 10:05:46
Sounds like you're making stuff up to be honest gooner. Allen brought Gerrard here - you have acomplaint about that? Speak to Dave King.

17.) 17 Sep 2019 13:16:26
You ducked the question Souness. I’ll take that as a reluctant acceptance that I’m correct. Oh and making stuff up? Like when you said Allen had sold so many players.

18.) 21 Sep 2019 19:34:24
William did Boydie get second or third helpings of his puddin?

09 Nov 2018 00:13:12
I think we need to be patient as this is going to take time and money to transform Rangers to a constant top team. We do have talent and when it all works we can play some very good football but when it doesn’t work you can see the lack of consistency and true top drawer quality.

SG has only have a short transfer window at the summer I am sure we will see ongoing reinforcement over the next 12 months. We will get it sorted hopefully before Timmy get ten in a row.

January and the summer will be massive in determining Steve Gs legacy at Rangers
I am confident he will be a great Rangers manager if he gets the time.

William King

1.) 09 Nov 2018 06:04:40
Like you william king, I truly think steven gerrard, will be a very good rangers manager!

2.) 09 Nov 2018 07:07:25
It’s important to remember that all the transfer business was done in the summer with a net spend of just £7M, along side a good use of the loans market and free transfer market, we should be looking to spend this on 1 player each summer. A player of real quality who is a guaranteed starter in his position and not open to any sort of debate on here, I don’t think we have any of those types except McGregor just now, Spartak has a couple, thought that wee Hanni was a tremendous wee player!

3.) 09 Nov 2018 13:16:22
The days of us spending 7m on a player are long gone. Thought popov was there best player.

4.) 10 Nov 2018 16:24:31
Fb popov contract up in June. 32. Experienced but me a bit old. Need to see him in few games to se if he is better than what we have.

This lockdown has changed a lot of peoples perspective to life, our new Celtic supporting neighbours, who we haven't really spoken to yet, have ask if we want a water fight, as a kind of get to know each other and because of the good weather, question is, while the kettles boiling, should I? . 🤔🤔just kidding 😂😂.

William King

1.) 02 May 2020 08:28:08
Lmao😂🤣.

2.) 02 May 2020 08:22:42
William king, as long as you mind to put the sugar in it, cool. lol. 😜.

3.) 02 May 2020 08:32:48
They've got to get a wash somehow.

Next winter forget Dubai it’s the sand dunes at East Lothian, run the guts out of them.

William King

1.) 05 Mar 2020 09:41:57
they have nae guts.

02 Mar 2020 07:06:30
Let’s not talk this up about Steve G leaving be careful what you wish for
Who takes the job after him if we punt him out the door
Give the guy a chance let’s give him next season and take the winter break to the south of Spain as Dubai has not worked.

William King

1.) 02 Mar 2020 07:50:57
I agree king. SG brings a lot to the club and the profile has grown considerably, attracting players who possibly wouldn’t have come with the current financial state and ongoing disputes with MA.

He needs to do it next year with out doubt and the European money and kit deal will help bringing in some strong leaders in the team not the tactically cute players we currently have brought in.

2.) 02 Mar 2020 08:27:52
Portugal never worked the season previously 👍.

3.) 02 Mar 2020 08:55:47
It seems the teams that stay at home and rest up do just damn fine after the winter break.

4.) 02 Mar 2020 09:42:28
Dubai works for us.

5.) 02 Mar 2020 10:03:38
Dubai works for us? Where’s the evidence of that? 2 total capitulations in a row after trips to Dubai.

Dubai works for Gerrard. He has property and business interests over there.

{Ed001's Note - you are missing the point, that is a Celtic poster.}

6.) 02 Mar 2020 11:12:26
Wagsman try not dive in that is as celtic fan who posted.

7.) 02 Mar 2020 23:38:57

Just watched the game again and Ryan Christine was a very lucky boy to have stayed on the park
Booked and hauling Aribo to the deck at the Rangers corner and then grabs Alfredo in the nuts
The boy should have been off.

1.) 31 Dec 2019 10:21:20
According to the sun it was alfie who injutred christie in that tussle and just for proof they have photographic evidence of this terrible injury to his 🥜 in fact it was that bad what Alfie done to him he got rushed to the emergency ward for an emergency 🚨 operation in his groin but the only thing is snigger snigger the photo they put in the sun was last seasons old firm game at Er snigger snigger IBROX Jesus a cannot believe how childish their press pals are surely Alfie can sue for this its total victimisation to the highest degree.

2.) 31 Dec 2019 11:17:56
Tin man only problem re Christie injury on Sunday is ralston is in picture, he left them in June
Crap paper showing an incident from last year.

29 Dec 2019 15:31:07
Got to wonder why he spots Alfredo dive yet missed a hand ball that results in a goal
Me thinks I know why Kevin Clancy? And the 4 offside at the LCF was missed by Alan Mivany no good enough.

William King

1.) 29 Dec 2019 16:05:35
The corner before Katic scores, Aribo is having his jersey ripped from him yet no penalty.

To review there vote mate WTF is going on how can SPFL
Possibly be doing that’s democratic have a vote and when they don’t get the answer they want they ask the club to review their vote. That’s corruption not democracy
Rangers should push this as far as need be highest court in the land.

If it’s the same quality as the Scotland Rugby kit it’s a million times better than the football kit we currently have quality wise.
