Ryan Hardie agrees to sign a further years extension to contract.

afcw191

1.) 18 Jan 2019 22:00:17
Win win for us.

28 Jul 2018 15:18:03
Everyone's fav commentator Sutton has just said during Clyde v Mwell game on bt that his "sources" have told him that Rangers are having a serious look at Chris Cadden just now -.

afcw191

1.) 28 Jul 2018 15:38:28
Wouldn’t say no.

2.) 28 Jul 2018 15:48:37
Neither would I. But it *is* Chris Sutton.

3.) 28 Jul 2018 18:01:52
Sorry guys, once bitten (Michael O'Horrible) twice shy. The guy is an out and out Smeltic man, a rhebel without a clue and a Rangers hater. He wouldn't want to play for us and I reciprocate. Anyway, there are better options out there and just because we have a scout at a match doesn't mean a thing.

4.) 28 Jul 2018 18:25:54
Gerrard and McAllister were at the Motherwell game on Tuesday as well not saying they were there watching Cadden but just passing on info.

5.) 28 Jul 2018 18:45:52
Dutycalls, i can assure you pal, that chris cadden is a motherwell fan!

6.) 28 Jul 2018 19:10:15
Super cooper I can assure you he is not. I know the family well and they are Celtic fans. However knowing the family it would not be a problem if Chris joined us. Chris is a professional through and through and if he got the chance would jump at it.

7.) 28 Jul 2018 20:11:02
No reason to doubt you colster and i bow to your obvious knowledge, as you know the family! The info i was given on cadden being a well fan, came from an ardent motherwell fan, whom i work beside mate.

8.) 28 Jul 2018 20:12:19
Do you want rangers to sign cadden then colster? I certainly rate the boy!

9.) 28 Jul 2018 20:41:51
@supercoop, how can you say "I assure you" based on what someone beside you at work told you? How many times are you going spout nonsense before you learn?

10.) 28 Jul 2018 20:48:28
He's not bad coops but eventually were going to have to spend money on quality if we want to get closer. I font think he'd help us close the gap on celtic we need to spend proper money on a winger and a striker asap.

11.) 28 Jul 2018 21:10:12
I think he would be a very decent squad player. My judgement on him is bias because of the connection. I think he is as good as Candeais. Let me assure everyone this boy is no MOH. So get that out your heads. If SG thinks he will do a job that’s good enough for me. Same as Lafferty. Cannot stand they guy but if he comes he gets my full backing.

12.) 28 Jul 2018 21:26:44
Dutycalls, that is sheer dung.

This site his horrendous for claiming Scottish players are Celtic fans. Somebody was on here saying Arfield was when we were linked earlier in the year. Just nonsense.

And even if they are, who cares, bar MOH, most players are professional and will do the job. There have been countless for each side that have played for he other side and been good seevants.

13.) 28 Jul 2018 21:38:57
If we're going to do 'I assure you' stuff then I can promise you we do have a raging tim in our team - and that's from someone who knew him years ago (had no reason to lie) and said everyone they know was stunned he'd moved to Rangers.

Personally as long as he plays well I don't care what team he likes.

14.) 28 Jul 2018 21:41:54
Who cares what team a player supports prior to signing for a club as long as they commit to the club they sign for Scott Brown was a Rangers boy as a kid and his family still are and he has well and truly jumped the dyke.

15.) 28 Jul 2018 22:38:18
Supercooper, you must be the only football follower in Scotland who didn't realise Cadden is a rampant celtic man.

16.) 28 Jul 2018 23:33:16
Come on guys give it a rest with which team a player supports, I would get it if the said players were giving penalties away or passing the ball to the team they support, but they don't as they are professional and more than likely trying to impress the team they support by playing as a professional for the team they do play for, if every pro played for the team they support we would be in a sorry state, there are players all over the world playing against teams they support so let's put this to bed and if a guy wants to play for Rangers, welcome him and support him.

17.) 29 Jul 2018 02:01:32
Sutton was at a Ladbrokes dinner tonight at my work. This was one of the topics that came up, so maybe some truth to this rumour? But I agree, then again, it's Chris Sutton.

18.) 29 Jul 2018 10:27:26
Chris Cadden did an interview a while back saying he grew up supporting Motherwell, only connection to Celtic was he went to the same school as Tierney.

19.) 29 Jul 2018 13:18:55
Ppl on here need to realise so what if he supports the unwashed if use remember Neil McCann he was Celtic daft then kenny Dugleish he was rangers daft so times have changed apart from we hate them and thay hate us.

20.) 29 Jul 2018 23:48:17
If Cadden went to the same school as Tierney that means he’s one of them.

21.) 30 Jul 2018 11:23:32
Euan - no it doesn't. I know two Catholic Rangers fans, went to Catholic schools but die hard blue noses. Also know Protestant Celtic fans that went to my school. Need to forget that nonsense in this day and age. Also, I know Lewis Morgan's family, couldn't get a bigger Rangers family but we showed zero interest in him and the boy had to do what was best for his career.

29 May 2018 18:19:52
Have been told that Jason Cummings is set to sign a 4 year deal with us and that Andy Halliday is keen on a move to Hibs - came from Cummings himself whilst on holiday speaking to one of the girls I know from work -.

afcw191

1.) 29 May 2018 19:48:08
Was that pillow talk?

2.) 29 May 2018 20:07:56
I was the pillow I can confirm

3.) 29 May 2018 20:16:19
Can't see us giving cummings 4 yr deal as he not showed enough and would be huge risk to wage bill

4.) 29 May 2018 20:22:27
That's not the way to talk about the lovely girls that work at the airport :) all I got told was football talk not pillow talk unfortunately : (

5.) 29 May 2018 20:53:45
What aload of guff hahaha cummings ain't signing a 4 year deal he didn't show enough to merit a deal and the beat one halliday is keen on hibs behave yerself stupid. They couldn't afford his fee nor could they afford his wages but not a chance in hell halliday will move there he hates lennon and hibs and there fans especially after the rats attacked his team mates

6.) 29 May 2018 21:17:45
Lennon would possibly sign Halliday to tar and feather and then use as his gimp boy. can't see Andy agreeing to that on any circumstance . st mirren a better option for him

7.) 29 May 2018 21:49:06
If Cummings was joining we'd know by now. Murphy was signed weeks ago and Martin today confirmed his position - Cummings has gone back to Forest and isn't wanted there either.

Shame how it seems to have worked out for him.

8.) 29 May 2018 22:14:22
Stuarty he’s worth about 200,000 max and knows he’s taking a pay cut after leaving Ibrox if he stays in Scotland.

9.) 30 May 2018 10:54:55
Even at that where are hibs getting 200k and he's worth that in your eyes. there's championship clubs in england after him aswell so naw he doesn't need to take a pay cut. Halliday won't go to hibs

30 Apr 2018 08:18:02
Just an update after ydays farce - Skyhi bet have SG at 1/ 12 on with NW as 4/ 1 2nd fav and joint 3rd fav is GMAC -.

23 Jan 2018 19:10:01
I am led to believe that tbe signing of Greg Docherty will be completed in tbe morning following tbe routine mecical -.

afcw191

1.) 23 Jan 2018 19:54:49
Confirmed

We have tonight agreed a deal to sign Greg Docherty from Hamilton - Believed to be in the region of £600k plus sell on.

Greg is expected at Auchenhowie tomorrow morning to complete the deal

Whilst it is not Done, medical pending etc, everyone is hopeful this is it 🔴⚪️🔵

2.) 23 Jan 2018 20:11:34
How you know it's confirmed?

3.) 23 Jan 2018 20:18:54
Told you so and Jamie Barjonas will be going the other way on loan till the end of the season.

4.) 23 Jan 2018 20:19:29
Yeah confirmed where?

5.) 23 Jan 2018 20:41:20
To be fair though, would you take a massive pay cut to join a team that 99.9999% going to get relegated?

6.) 23 Jan 2018 21:29:59
Not heard anything about Barjonas
But yes I imagine there will be a few moving out for a spell

7.) 23 Jan 2018 21:35:51
Was meant to post that on the Alves isn't leaving thread

8.) 24 Jan 2018 07:31:39
Aye Dado. Barjonas keen to get game time and come back a better player. This is straight from the player.

9.) 24 Jan 2018 19:11:59
Seeker yes I think Barjonas is one for the near future.
Danny Wilson not in the squad
Shame but he's finished at Rangers now.

One time rumour target L. Shankland has joined Donedee utd on a 3 year deal. wow! says it all really.

afcw191

1.) 03 Jul 2019 06:55:46
Sticking with scottish championship football. On another terrible wage. Must have had loads of offers then. Honestly cannot believe some folk wanted him in at us. Same as couple years back Devante cole. just signed for motherwell.

2.) 03 Jul 2019 10:07:13
Never anywhere near good enough for us.

3.) 03 Jul 2019 10:30:38
Apparently he chose dundee united over Sunderland and Hull. Aye sure he did. Found his level.

4.) 03 Jul 2019 10:34:35
I thought 3.

5.) 03 Jul 2019 11:36:45
Same applies to Hastie who we need shot of. People still think he could do a job for us. The mind boggles.

6.) 03 Jul 2019 11:58:12
ffs slim jim the boy hastie needs to be given a chance not even kicked a ball for us yet and he's getting slated already.

7.) 03 Jul 2019 12:37:27
The difference is Hastie has done it at SPFL level. For a free transfer it was a no brainer.

8.) 03 Jul 2019 12:41:46
Hastie hasn't even played a game yet. Madness.

9.) 03 Jul 2019 13:01:09
Hastie is one of the better proven players in the spl, behave jim.

10.) 03 Jul 2019 13:05:52
Slim jim. Get a grip. Embarrassing.!

11.) 03 Jul 2019 12:53:45
Can you not just give the boy a chance before slaughtering him for not being good enough? As I've said before I'll take the opinions of our management team over anyone posting on here in regards to signings, we had the embarrassing situation yesterday of people saying Sturridge not good enough for us? I know it's all about opinion but we need to give people a chance in the jersey but to say a player of Sturridges pedigree isn't his enough for us well I despair.

12.) 03 Jul 2019 13:40:09
Guys when i read your replies, i thought you are all clueless.
Until i read my post again. My mistake, i typed hastie, meant Hardie as the op was talking about a striker.

Hastie on the otherhand looks half decent and time will tell.

13.) 03 Jul 2019 13:59:33
Guys I think lots of us are bang out of order regarding Shankland, we have a young bluenose who after having the season of his life was desperate to join the famous. I would be the exact same in his position . Fair enough he might not be the level at the moment we are looking for but there is absolutely no reason to mock the kid for doing something each and every one of us would do and try to force a move to his idols . I for one wish him well and hope he proves all of you wrong, and if not I am sure he’s achieved a lot more in the game than any of the doubters.

14.) 03 Jul 2019 14:04:43
Slim old age comes to us all.

15.) 03 Jul 2019 14:11:34
When SG says, about Hastie, "the plan was to send him out on loan, but having seen him in training, I want him around the first team for at least the first eight matches" you have to listen.

16.) 03 Jul 2019 15:17:21
Shsnkland will know himself he's nowhere near good enough. Hence why he 'chose' united.

17.) 03 Jul 2019 15:25:27
Fox and hounds 192 Kissimmee to watch rangers games.

18.) 03 Jul 2019 15:40:17
What he knows or you know is irrelevant mate . My point is some on here seem to love to mock a fellow blunose for doing nothing wrong and simply stating he would love to play for our club . Goodluck to the boy and I hope he goes on to prove everyone wrong .

19.) 03 Jul 2019 16:05:42
Slim Jim your hard man. Haste no kicked a ba in anger yet. Give the boy a chance.

20.) 03 Jul 2019 18:48:33
Millerbrand, keep up mate, lol read 13.40 above.

21.) 03 Jul 2019 19:22:51
Fair play slim jim. That predictive text is a can't lol.

For the Rossiter die-hards Bury v Portsmouth Sky Sports 745 tonight Checkatrade Semi Final.

afcw191

1.) 26 Feb 2019 12:26:27
Pleased to see him staying fit and playing well, think he can contribute well at SPFL level, only question mark is his fitness.

2.) 26 Feb 2019 13:00:31
I like rossiter but who would he get in the team ahead of? Bit part player who's wages would be better spent on a player who would be a first team starter👍.

3.) 26 Feb 2019 14:54:07
Coldo, if I read your post correctly I don't agree. I too like Rossiter when he has played and he may be on a good wage. Where I disagree with you on this one is that it is going to cost a lot of money to get a player who will dislodge any of the midfield and will ultimately also be on a good wage, whereas Rossiter is already hear and will provide excellent back up and choice in midfield,

4.) 26 Feb 2019 15:12:38
Bluetoon, if we want to progress as a club then we need sign players who are better than what we have, not sign them to be back ups👍. Of course it will cost money but what's the point of keeping a player as back up if he can only provide back up for one or two games a year? He had a great game in 5 all draw at hibs but other than that he has hardly blown us away has he? As I said if we want to win titles and progress then we need to add quality to jack mccrorie arfield kamara and provide us with rossiter as back up. His wage could be better spent👍.

5.) 26 Feb 2019 17:42:05
Coldo - we are all entitled to our opinions and those on Rossiter bring more than others, but please give the lad a chance. He has been injured more than not and has repeatedly stated that he does not know why he has got so many injuries and at times felt like chucking it all in - however, the very fact that he has not chucked it in says a lot about his character, and in football skill is not all you need - you character, belief and determination and a never say die attitude.

Do you think that Rangers would carry him on a whim?
Do you think SG would back him without knowing what he can do and achieve?
Do you think he would have been loaned out if he was no use?

I trust Rangers and in particular SG on these matters.

6.) 26 Feb 2019 19:15:26
Well written true blue, the boy has been fit since October, could not break into team, hence loan deal.

7.) 26 Feb 2019 19:38:46
Still hope young Jordan makes it with us. Bumped into him in braehead and before xmas, he spoke with me and my son for a good ten mins. Loves it at ibrox and has been frustrated being injured so much and not contributing.

8.) 26 Feb 2019 21:14:15
Coldo, your 👍s are getting worse than supercooper’ commas.

9.) 26 Feb 2019 23:25:13
Am not saying rossiter is a bad player, I just think with mccrorie and kamara being ahead of him that he will struggle to get game time. Blue89 behave yourself, nothing is worse than the over use of the commas 😂👍.

10.) 27 Feb 2019 17:35:10
I, think that we are, going way off, subject! I don't agree with, the critisism, of, commas. Don't, get me wrong, it, is, difficult to, know where to put, them.

11.) 27 Feb 2019 19:17:51
proper laughed at that Jordy 😂😂.

24 Feb 2019 23:58:36
As i said in midweek Kamara is just superb for us - a much needed link player for our team - very comfortable on the ball-.

afcw191

1.) 25 Feb 2019 06:59:31
Ive been saying for long and weary that Kamara is quality. Never wastes a ball and is calm at all times on the ball. A brilliant signing by the Rangers management.

20 Feb 2019 17:41:18
anyone know of any links/ streams for tonights game?

Agreed MarcoC - some people on here seem to be too quick to use the Nicky Clarke angle about Shankland plus he failed with the sheep- he is still young and improving and in my opinion can only improve further with coaching and being amongst a better standard of player- with a shortage of natural strikers around young Shankland surely has to be of interest to us -.

Thought ejaria had a poor game yesterday - didn't link up with halliday and Middleton on the left and seemed to wander to a deeper inside position - no point in coming really deep into his own half to do his one party trick - felt he could offer more if helped others around him - was pleasantly surprised by young Middleton- who is always determined to get to the by line and put a cross in - Goldson is just different class - his positional play and confidence on the ball is superb - a competent display which resulted in 3 good goals -.

Helander hasn't been bought to warm the bench and of tbe other 3 my fav is Edmonson due to his distribution and comfort on the ball- i totally agree that not only will our defensive options be horses for courses but that will echo throughout the team- we all want 55 and will cheer whatever first 11 our manager chooses - i'm sure sure all of our individual opinions have the club at heart.
