Heard we're interested in josh doig and been in contact with hellas verona, they're quoting 5m yet we're interested, my point is not that the kid isn't good enough I think he is and the kind of player we should be targeting, but if we can't afford 3m plus for shankland how on earth can we manage 5m for doig, just can't work it out.

what do you mean “ can't afford “” absolutely not correct, nobody ever said can't afford except one or two in her3 who just won't grasp that rangers are not even close to skint, there's plenty cash in the club, we certainly can affird anyone in scotland, if w3 choose to pay the required price, oossible however the boss doesn't want anyone in scotland of course, why on earth would you thonk we couldn't afford shankland.

Thanks to the people that gave a reasonable answer to my question, as that's what it was a question, and it's not only Tim's that say we've no money, other people say it too reasonable rangers supporters too, I for one don't claim to know rangers finances why would I, and I don't think anyone on here can say for certain what they are, they can speculate and have a reasonable inclination but can not be 100% correct, really didn't think about the age thing between shankland v doig, so thanks to the guys for highlighting that to me.

Heard a rumour today, I find it hard to believe but thought I'd share it with you, a mate of mine told me that rangers are supposed to be getting aubamayang on loan, with Barcelona paying 60% of his wages, abit like the ramsey deal, just passing on what I heard, after all it is a rumour page, I wouldn't say no if we could.

With the transfer window in england now shut, but scotland still open, what your thought on this, with gerrard saying he was keeping a close eye on england market, do you think he was hoping no one came in for Kent and if rangers progress in the Europa cup to knockout stages he would then have the money for Kent, I know a lot of you say a deal is dead.

Liverpool now have a choice to keep him in their squad, not play him and watch his value plummet again, sell him to us at a price we can afford with add-ons and % of next sale etc., or loan him to us for the season, we can continue to develop him and he’ll at least hold his value if not increase it. So very good chance we get him back now unless a bid comes in from abroad.

My own opinion is that yilmaz is the way forward, barrasic turns back on himself far to much now and isn't the best at defending, a wicked crosser of the the ball but if we don't have guys in the box to finish these chances they mean nothing, better cashing in on barrasic now, let's not get caught out on players running down there contract again.
