not disclosing the liabilities to sky etal if the season ended early seems to be the smoking gun--.

1.) 07 May 2020 21:32:37
8 club board members (including rangers ) on the spfl board how would the clubs not know!

2.) 08 May 2020 07:04:58
If you read it n understand it says it wasn't disclose to ALL clubs which means those in attendance knew.
The whistleblower was SR. He has taken stuff and run with it.
It may not be as bad as first initiated but one thing is, why would ND and i'm go to uefa, 6days before the vote and basically tell them the outcome of said vote?

3.) 08 May 2020 09:58:41
if the season had been made null and void like rangers and some other clubs wanted, would the sky liability still be there?

4.) 08 May 2020 11:02:51
If null and void declared, sky, BT and ST tickets would be due full refund and no prize money due as season never happened. Which also means no UEFA platings for next year either. Where does that help anyone? 😳.

{Ed001's Note - not true.}

5.) 08 May 2020 11:20:04
Agree with u Ed 001.

{Ed001's Note - I am actually 100% sure that it is not true, that is not an opinion. There would be no possiblity of that happening due to force majeure.}

6.) 08 May 2020 11:39:12
I am with u Ed 1.

7.) 08 May 2020 16:59:48
I agree too, and never thought otherwise.

8.) 09 May 2020 00:47:05
precisely and even legally its not the case. that's if a retail driven tv company would even try to implement that to their customers teams in the middle of a deadly global virus.

9.) 09 May 2020 16:09:14
Legally should the season end now sky and bt could ask for the money to be returned from SPFL for games that were not played which include 2 old firm matches. I can't see this happening as the bad press would cost them more but they can claim the money from unplayed matches that would have had tv coverage. That's basic contract law you wouldn't pay for your shopping in full and only accept 3/ 4 of it cause the shop shut early. You would want either money back for items not given or the items to be given to you.

{Ed001's Note - legally they cannot. Have you never heard of force majeure? All the TV companies have already accepted that they have no leg to stand on. I do wish people would stop talking crap about things they have no idea about. Similar thing is the lie about the TV deal contingent on 4 Old Firm games a season - not true and would be illegal.}

RANGERS, alongside other Scottish football clubs, have submitted a Members' Requisition to the SPFL.
The requisition requests that a General Meeting of all 42 member clubs be held to consider calling an independent investigation into:
1.The preparation and content of the briefing note and papers sent to member clubs with the resolution;
2.The decision to announce the result of an incomplete vote before all votes had been received;
3.The decision to disregard the vote submitted by Dundee FC and allow them to vote a second time;
4.The appropriateness of communications between the Executive of the SPFL and other football governing bodies in relation to completing season 2019/ 20;
5.The interaction of SPFL executives with clubs during the voting process including the disclosure to clubs of how other member clubs had voted;
6.Compliance by the SPFL's directors with the statutory and common law duties owed by them in relation to the resolution; and
7.Any other matters which the independent expert considers relevant.
We have received the SPFL's open letter referring to the narrow scope of their investigation which alarmingly failed to examine wider fundamental issues.
Rangers have made it very clear that we have a dossier of evidence which we will make readily available to an independent investigation.

1.) 25 Apr 2020 08:51:32
Good, it looks like Rangers have been biding their time and are now ready to play their cards following the SPFL's own 'investigation'. let's hope this is the turning of the tide for Liewell and his cronies.

2.) 25 Apr 2020 13:14:29
By the looks of it we have been waiting for the SPFL to give us this external investigation provibg no wrongdoing for us to get a complete investigation. Surely they now can't object to a full independent investigation into the handling of covid19's effect on our game having authorised a pointless partial investigation. Mr Park will crank up the prussure now from what i am being told. the biggest revelations have yet to come.

3.) 25 Apr 2020 14:55:56
Guys, I see a few of our fans on the Banter Pages saying they think we won't get anywhere with this request. I myself think that there was no way that vote was legal, and we must pursue this, otherwise there will be no credibility left in Scottish Football.

12 Feb 2020 21:34:05
I now think mr Gerard has next season to save his managerial career as this season is now officially over. poor changes again and i'm sorry but kent has absolutely no end product. in saying all that nothing wrong with morelos goal. beaton couldn't wait to blow. what a shambles. no more dubai for me. gullane sands more like.

1.) 12 Feb 2020 21:49:07
I would change it out like they did for sesson us going for 10. Gerrard is clueless. No subbys til 81 mins. What a shambolic 2nd half.

2.) 12 Feb 2020 21:50:37
He probably does have next season to save his career but it shouldn’t be at Rangers. Personally think he should make way for a new manager and give him till the end of the season to settle into the role and decide who he wants to keep etc.

Totally inept performance again from SG! How can he not see what everyone else sees? Kilmarnock we’re coming more and more into the match and he does absolutely nothing, no change in style, tactics or lineup - clueless!

3.) 12 Feb 2020 21:56:50
He can’t save it. He won’t learn and will do the same next year. Why do we come back from the break crap with no product or desire. He has taken Us far but It needs someone else to finish this off. Hopefully he will take some players off our hands as he will get another club. We have been a good stepping stone for him.

4.) 12 Feb 2020 22:00:58
Stop sounding like a Celtic fan and blaming the referees all the time, I’m getting embarrassed listening to fellow rangers fans moaning about it every game now.

5.) 12 Feb 2020 22:15:10
To be honest, referees are dire!

The Morelos goal should've stood and the first Kilmarnock goal was a handball!
Cant have this as an excuse though. We shouldn't be sitting on a 1-0 lead Yet again, we miss a handful of chances! Should be killing teams off!
Gerrard has got us to knockout stages of Europa but without some kind of silverware he leaves himself in grave danger!
WE MUST WIN THE SCOTTISH CUP Anything less doesn't bode well Not much desire nor showing any kind of improvement from last year My opinion of course!

6.) 12 Feb 2020 22:27:00
The killie manager said at ht he told his players to up the pace and move the ball faster,! - exactly what we should have been doing, gerrard hinting that players can't handle the pressure, and if that's the case he should make changes, but I imagine he'll stick with his favourites. Subs should have been on no later than 60 minutes, and the snails pace that we are now playing at week in week out is abysmal to watch. We have no cutting edge, the midfield don't run at the opposition, they run sideways across them. Awful to watch since the break, something drastic needs changing fast. Gerrard did say that was schoolboy defending, and it was, it seems every goal we concede is because of this. I am shocked at that performance.

7.) 12 Feb 2020 22:38:53
Our biggest problem is finances SG took over a very poor team he has brought in players who up till the split were flying then injuries and suspensions kicked in and it’s then we have the problems the players who came in weren’t good enough then we start dropping points and the pressure is on look at the Jsn transfer window two players in one on loan from the Hibs bench another loan deal from another subs bench we were in a great position two points behind with a game in hand now mikes behind Morelos we depend to much on him he hasn’t been on form since he came back but still we have to play him no one else to take his place our midfield has been poor since the break but we have no real quality to bring in we creat very little and are very slow at the back we have been leaking goals Barisic out we bring in Halliday he isn’t good enough but because he is a fan that ok he was at fault for their first goal tonight though it was hand ball he still lost his man he was sleeping second I’ve no idea what Goldson was doing so your all shouting to sack the manager no chance we were doing great up till the break then form and injuries kicked in it money we need spent on the squad not throw it away paying off managers and back room staff then paying compensation to another club for their manager it’s crazy we don’t have it and who would you all suggest we go for you have to accept it at this moment in time financially we’re not at the races.

8.) 12 Feb 2020 23:28:16
Might be a long shot but I’d love souness back as manager.

9.) 13 Feb 2020 00:45:06
Twacoos forgot finances. We have a manager who has no clue about tactics whatsoever. He makes changes too late and has been doing so from day one. I said this last week and got slated. he's out his depth. That's the reality. We have no bottle, that I will give him. No fight or desire to best lesser opposition. There no excuses anymore This is his team. The fans are turning. Braga will wipe the floor with us. That will be the last straw. He will walk.

10.) 13 Feb 2020 00:46:55
What has happened in the break?
If I'm honest thought Celtic would get 9 but didn't think we would fall apart like this. Really disappointed as it's quite clear our squad is seriously lacking quality. halliday, Flannigan, ojo, Barker in squad and Murphy and Docherty away on loan is crazy and very puzzling.

11.) 13 Feb 2020 02:37:52
Not like he's not been backed? Gerrard has spent almost 20 mill si ce joining club.
Goldson 3mill, katic 2mill, barisic 2mill, helander 3.5mill, kent 7mill ( yes that's right 7 mill) . Goldson seems u droppable.

12.) 13 Feb 2020 05:44:35
Ok paul 86, who should replace steven gerrard as rangers manager in your opinion then mate? Please don't say our former great sir Walter Smith! The guy is enjoying his retirement and has now been retired for several years now. Walter was a superb rangers manager, past tense!

13.) 13 Feb 2020 07:59:00
Super, get a grip. Why should we stick with a manager who obviously is not up to the job just because none of us can name a replacement? If I'm correct you made the same comment about every other duff manager we got rid of for having no plan B. You really are the perfect fan for the board. Total loyalty to anyone in a blue top or club tie. Sometimes questions have to be asked and tough decisions taken. I'm just glad you are nowhere near the corridors of power at Ibrox. We'd still have super Ally as the manager and be paying top wages to third rate talent.

14.) 13 Feb 2020 08:06:23
SGL. What about no nonsense manager like sean dyche. You have been on here for years and you tipped warburton for england job. You said not that long ago stevie would only manage liverpool and england after rangers. More chance it being Lincoln and Exeter.

15.) 13 Feb 2020 16:33:08
Get behind your team and go and see them! That's to all key board warriors who always shout loudest.

16.) 13 Feb 2020 16:38:48
How do you know for definite that gerrard won't turn us around and go on to manage liverpool and england,
as well as us? Get a grip. None of us are enjoying this but turning our back on our manager and team, AIN'T the answer pal!

17.) 13 Feb 2020 22:33:17
Dicker should've seen red for dive in the box but the ref missed that. Funny he saw the Morelos dive thou. Hand ball there goal defo, push on Morelos in box was more of a penalty than the push that disallowed his goal.
That said, Davis on bench, Jones knows that pitch like the back of his hand and he was benched, Aribo was lost, Hagi can't play on plastic and Kent needs to change it up cause my wife could mark him outta a game as a fullback. Don't get me started on Halliday, has Pollster not got a left foot.

18.) 14 Feb 2020 08:15:46
Smith is a hero because of his title successes but overrated he had vast sums of transfer money at his disposal which undoubtably made a huge difference but if one looks back to the squad he left behind after millions and millions spent the team he left for the incoming manager was poor. Millions wasted and the start of the slippery slope to oblivion. He knew what he was doing when he got out.

31 Jan 2020 15:47:56
looking like Docherty to hibs and kamberi coming in-----good piece of business imo---not as good as hagi but just what we needed.

1.) 31 Jan 2020 16:00:45
Thank god
Feel more positive now. knowing we’re getting a couple signings in especially a striker

This should be a good boost to the team also and gives us more options throughout season

Looking forward to seeing them both playing

Hagi could be a very exciting prospect 😊.

2.) 31 Jan 2020 16:07:53
deecee can we all take it that you have seen Hagi play, then?

3.) 31 Jan 2020 16:23:41
Hibs are holding back until they get a replacement.
That is why deal is only "in principle"

4.) 31 Jan 2020 17:14:18
Covenanter yes seen Hagi play, tore Katic a new arse in the summer, also ran amok against England.
Lad should be good for us, two great feet, look at his goals mate, a lot of crackers, he scores two excellent penalty in one game, one right foot one left foot.
When u see his goals he certainly likes to shoot from distance.

5.) 31 Jan 2020 17:14:47
Great move for doc. Will be able to show SG what he has in our own league. This I'd chance to shoe our coaching staff if he had what it takes. Part of me thinks he will leave in summer iregardless of how well he does but then other part says if he proves he can do it could maybe replace Kamara if he is sold in the summer. Saw kamberi a few times and he has talent but blows hot and cold so will fit right in lol. Looking for him and hagi to do enough so we can't say no to permanent deals st rnd of their loans.

6.) 31 Jan 2020 17:41:59
Fantastic bit of business with Hagi. it really is a win win situation. If he's not so good he goes back and if he shows what he is capable of we have a seriously talented player with a huge 're sell value in time. 😉.

7.) 31 Jan 2020 19:08:21
Kamberi deal doesn’t include option to buy, that’s not to say we can’t if he does well.
Hagi has €5m or £4m option to buy clause inserted into his contract if he does well.
Looks like good business with some fringe players exiting, Defoe signing pre- contract, Barisic signing extension and Alfredo staying.

8.) 31 Jan 2020 20:57:14
Have any one on here looked at hagis stats doesn’t look that good to me as for Kamberi you can have him, but the biggest stumbling block was that your lot couldn’t come up with the full amount wanted.

9.) 31 Jan 2020 22:40:34
Hibsboy, don't talk bull, we couldn't afford camberi, get over yourself mate, your just raging because he is coming to a better club, i take it by your logic we can't afford hagi, ya dafty as if you know how much we have, lol, you dream of supporting rangers mate, we do it and its brilliant.

10.) 01 Feb 2020 00:09:57
Hibs boy u talk colin nish 😂😂😂 aye we have an insert into hagis contract if he does
Well we can buy him for 4 million but we can't afford 750k for kamberi 😂😂 ye sound like the celtic fans who said we couldn't afford kemt yet spent 7.5 million on him. Hagis stats for an amf are pretty decent. Plus its his overall play that's good. he's better than anybody u have at hibs and he will tear u lot apart soon.

30 Jan 2020 13:25:26
shankland WILL sign just my gut talking, failing that we are in hubble bubble with no proven and established goal scorers to be seen anywhere apart from red card ronnie----and k. miller is not the answer. this should have been addressed long ago as a 37 year old no matter how fit he is was an injury waiting to happen in january.

1.) 30 Jan 2020 15:01:36
We won’t pay what Utd will want for Shankland.

2.) 30 Jan 2020 15:55:11
We've missed the boat on Shankland - could have picked him up for peanut's, but now Dundee United want around £2 million for him which we just won't pay or can pay.

3.) 30 Jan 2020 19:40:38
No matter how hard some posters try to make Shankland sound inpressive, he just isn't. If Scumdee Hibs come up, let's see what he does in the SPL. We haven't missed any boat here.

4.) 30 Jan 2020 20:15:01
Dundee United Covenanter . al keep ye right 👍.

5.) 30 Jan 2020 21:41:53
Hopefully he's better than the last romanian to play for rangers. He looks the part on youtube tho.

19 Jun 2020 17:06:45
Morelos is worth a million pounds for every stone he weighs -right now we should get 35 million.

1.) 19 Jun 2020 17:31:34
My initial thinking was he was out of shape, however I do think he looked off and out of shape since new year.

2.) 19 Jun 2020 22:33:04
Reading Sg book he talks about a boy Herbie Kane who he worked with when he was in charge of youths at Liverpool. He talks really highly of the boy who’s an attacking mid. The boy is on loan at Hull but the way SG rates him I’m surprised he hasn’t tried to bring him to us.

3.) 19 Jun 2020 22:49:28
Jaws, similar age, position and style of Hagi and not as good. For an attacking midfielder he hardly scores. I think that will be a non starter.

4.) 19 Jun 2020 22:58:06
Tell morelos the quickest way too lose weight is in a bookies I was in a bookies once and lost 15 pounds in 12 minutes.

5.) 20 Jun 2020 09:06:47
Any 'new' material laudrup 1972?

08 Jun 2020 13:23:22
Having a releationship with one of the top teams in the world being LIVERPOOL is an ace in the hole. OK OJO was a flop but going forward I see some real talent coming to our club on loan and leading to permanent contracts and sell-on benefits The future is good Priority is #55 this coming season for me and stop this ridiculous fake 10 in a row nonsense.

1.) 08 Jun 2020 14:05:39
Add in Ejaria.

2.) 08 Jun 2020 14:08:46
N add kent.

3.) 08 Jun 2020 14:32:45
Sorry DeeCee Stevie G is a Liverpool legend but the club are never going to do us any great favours unless it tsuits them. We will never get their very best available loanees e. g. Ojo, Ejaria not Harry Wilson. Kent was decent on loan but Liverpool played hardball on his transfer and we paid far more than we should have as we were desperate to get him. As long Stevie is manager Liverpool will help us out but only up to a point.

4.) 08 Jun 2020 18:52:10
I think we will see the Ryan Kent we all want next season. The boy just needs to forget about his price tag. New season new start.

5.) 08 Jun 2020 19:54:02
We'll see the best of the undoubtedly talented ryan kent, if gerrard now he's signed hagi permanently, puts him back in his natural wide left position, where he can isolate and tear apart the opposition right back!

6.) 08 Jun 2020 19:55:01
kent needs someone on the opposite wing that produces.

06 Jun 2020 18:00:59

22 May 2020 16:17:01
2 subjects for the price of one firstly football is nothing without fans at the game -secondly hearts relegation was all wrong still in the hunt 4 points back and in the semi-final of the Scottish cup after knocking us out is not a team destined for relegation -and giving celtic the title with 9 games left on our card was iffy at best. if the league gets re-constructed and hearts stay up the title should be taken from timmy-my take --will it happen no.

1.) 22 May 2020 18:18:44
Big gulf in good, enuf, 4 gers, and good enuf Scottish football. Some in Scottish football couldn't find their own a***.

2.) 23 May 2020 10:05:05
Deecee, if its not stripped then league will need to be started again, all teams going for one in a row, imagine it wasnt changed, league records celtic 8 then awarded one, let's start at ten, exactly doesn't make sense, after tittle award it should all be started again, number one next, for whoever wins it, mate, lol.

20 May 2020 13:44:55
Lets give Castore #55 next season -It is now a priority to stop their quest to achieve something we would never live down as a club and a business. Do your job Mr Gerard and deliver.

1.) 20 May 2020 18:03:03
Its not only steven gerrard that needs to do his job its everyone connected to the famous glasgow rangers collectively, that all need to do our jobs. Now let's stop this 9.75 in a row!
