Good Evening Folks, I'm just reading about the Consumer Watchdog linking us to price fixing for our strips, any truth in this, if so, why were we so stupid to get involved with Elite, and another Sports Company, sorry, I forget the other one, what if anything would be a possible financial penalty, thanks for any information guys.

1.) 07 Jun 2022 19:36:17
Up to 10% of turnover is what I've read no idea though.

2.) 07 Jun 2022 21:05:11
Read we aren't as culpable as JD and they have ring fenced two million for possible legal costs and any fine. Not certain how accurate that is though.

3.) 07 Jun 2022 21:47:51
From what iv read was fixed to stop fat Mike getting his hands on money from shirt sales and we underpriced tips from Sept to Nov 2018. I think this is another fight zgzinst SD and Ashley but rangers didn't gain financial and expect final ruling to show that.

4.) 07 Jun 2022 22:00:37
Rangers guilty off agreeing to sell 2000 strips between September 2018 and November 2018.
We actually admitted this and brought it to attention of investigators.
A grand total off 10k income.

5.) 07 jun 2022 22:37:55
as john says rangers only a small part to play, nontheless shoulnt happen in any business, but the usual massive deal will be made from it in certain quarters.

6.) 07 Jun 2022 22:58:46
Let's get distracted from what's going on in courts shall we?

7.) 07 Jun 2022 22:59:34
Only came out in the news due to another clubs court cases this week, won’t be a problem but just another amateur move from the people in charge of the commercial side once again.

8.) 08 Jun 2022 09:00:33
The person involved in this deal no longer works with rangers.

9.) 08 Jun 2022 14:39:34
I know John25 but just sums up that side of the club the past few years.

Castore being a shambles, Hummel/ Elite, Bitci and Sportemongo all been a mess.

10.) 08 Jun 2022 16:33:07
Absolutely nothing up re Castore imo
A number. Name r Bisgrove, so should we get rid off him.

11.) 08 Jun 2022 17:16:16
In the first year of the Castore deal we sold less than we did compared to the Hummel deal. Castore trying to run before they could walk when we signed the deal with them when we should’ve had guarantees over how many kits they could’ve provided.

Bisgrove should be out the door based on the Sportemongo and Bitci deals alone, 2 sponsorship deals we signed and they’ve went bust due to the nature of their business add in the fact that we’ve produced 2 kits with their logos on the tops and sold them which means the club will need to pay for the ones that have been sold already.

14 Jan 2022 16:51:40
Hi Guys, Rumours abounding that Souter had a medical today at Rangers, any truth to this, John 25 have you heard anything pal.

1.) 14 Jan 2022 17:02:29
Irv I said deal was completed Wednesday subject to medical.
Rangers were trying to add a player, to get him in now.
Kelly allegedly refused to go, also heard we tried to shift barker, Simpson or hastie. Hearts rejected them.

2.) 14 Jan 2022 17:17:26
Your last line speaks volumes John lol.

3.) 14 Jan 2022 17:29:40
I think Kelly hearts would knock back them three.

4.) 14 Jan 2022 17:39:40
In case I’m not clear it was barker Simpson hastie hearts knocked back

Kelly rejected hearts in favour off move south.

5.) 14 Jan 2022 19:32:43
Would love to see barker simpson and hastie go, no future with us imo.

6.) 14 Jan 2022 20:39:51
Mark you couldn't give them 4 away in a lucky bag just now.

7.) 14 Jan 2022 21:49:55
Sweep who do you actually rate. Kelly is a player, have you ever watched him play.

8.) 14 Jan 2022 23:29:20
Kelly would walk into the Ross County midfield. Celtic never beat Ross County last season with Kelly starring in the midfield. A classy young cm with bags of talent, easily play for any other Scottish team, easily has a more intelligent football brain 🧠 than ferguson at the sheep, all that is against him is he is built like most 15yr old school boys. That's what's holding him back, there is a reason the famous haven't let him go yet. They can see the talent in the boy, reverse Benjamin Button they hope!

9.) 15 Jan 2022 08:59:32
Simpson if he leaves you would expect it to be to a team in the Championship down south.

10.) 15 Jan 2022 10:01:31
Can’t believe we brought in barker and Simpson and there obviously and it’s plain to see they err not going to make it at our club
Why on earth did our scouting system etc think they would make a difference
wages goi g out on players wasting clubs cash
that will be another couple players end up leaving on a free

Feel for hastie young bright prospect obviously didn’t or hasn’t went on to what we thought he could become?

11.) 15 Jan 2022 12:49:08
Stig mark allen sold candeias and brought in barker, gerrard never knew this at time hence why mark allen no longer at rangers.
Simpson was brought in for cover for katic on less than some our reserves. Never worked out, certainly won’t be freed as has deal to 2024

Hastie was a strange signing for me.

13 Jun 2020 15:14:29
All is becoming clear now as to why Doncaster has been pushing reconstruction, allegedly the SPFL could get a claim for up to £6 Million from the relegated clubs, if all was above board, why all the panic.

12 May 2020 14:01:45
On Rangers News 24/ 7, meeting now concluded and all votes cast, to reconvene in an hour with the results, I guess if it's 74%, the SPFL will have to go their SPAM FOLDER for a check.

1.) 12 May 2020 22:25:25
Irvger rangers only got 13 votes 27 voted against us.

29 Apr 2020 07:55:19
Morning Folks, I was just reading the story about this 'Open Letter' to all Clubs from the SPFL Board on the BBC Web Page today, with Stewart Robertson being the only person not to sign it. I stated in a post about a week ago, that things would be made to look like we are the bad guys in this whole debacle, and, that is exactly the strategy the SPFL are taking. Where do we go if we don't get the 75% required to have this Independent Inquiry', that's my big fear, if we have damning evidence, it should have been given to the Police.

1.) 29 Apr 2020 10:40:45
Our next action might just depend on what evidence we have. Corruption, or anti-Rangers or both?
SPFL silence on McLennan alleged comments in Private Eye is evidence of their wagon circling. That question is already out there and they refuse to address. I hope other fair minded chairmen (no laughing) are also asking why SPFL won't respond to this allegation, especially McLennan himself.

2.) 29 Apr 2020 13:00:25
What I would like to know is when was the Deloitte investigation first announced? Does anyone know .
Surely it wasn’t until after the spfl got the answer they wanted?

3.) 29 Apr 2020 14:08:58
Molsgoals, “investigation lite” announced after widespread criticisms surrounding Good Friday vote shenanigans.

4.) 29 Apr 2020 14:42:48
There is only one club who can hold the SPFL board to account and you all know which one "the one with the fans who are afraid of soap and water".

We Rangers fans must be prepared for further humiliation as I'am now convinced we have NO evidence of wrong doing by the SPFL or it would have been brought to light by now.

Our club is surrounded by a firewall with the rest of the SPFL clubs with one dominant club protected who have support at all levels in the board.

5.) 29 Apr 2020 17:52:08
I'm afraid I agree with irvger and Bluebilly, if we have anything like a damning dossier it should have been presented to the most senior police officer, at least one sympathetic MP and a QC so that it could be collaborated when the time comes to present it. Be prepared to take another embarrassment here.

6.) 30 Apr 2020 10:13:47
but why? isn't like football on the pitch? if you don't make a problem the team with more support can run all over you. try at least to make the ref think twice.

7.) 30 Apr 2020 12:08:47
Keep our powder dry, plenty of time.

8.) 30 Apr 2020 15:39:44
Yes I think so too . the later we present the better. otherwise they will just contrive a story . like they have done so far . How on earth was the Deloitte investigation not advertised before they proceeded?

This fact meant that no evidence from an outside source was presented? How on earth is that an independent enquire when any material was only submitted by the accused?

Unbelievable. really really hope we have evidence of Peter pulling the strings . and I don’t mean blue Peter.

9.) 30 Apr 2020 19:12:31
There is no evidence of Peter pulling the strings despite all the wishful thinking on here. And the reason for that is there is no conspiracy.

10.) 30 Apr 2020 19:29:07
The lady doth protest too much, methinks.

11.) 30 Apr 2020 20:53:21
Nope just dealing in facts as we know them at present. If proven that “Peter” runs all of Scottish football and everyone does his bidding I will obviously come on here and stand corrected. As I have been at pains to say no one one here has shown anything to make me change my view other than idle gossip and paranoia.

12.) 01 May 2020 00:13:55
So who was the peter that Neil Doncaster was phoning with the news of votes before deadline?

13.) 01 May 2020 16:51:44
Lie well would be massive odds on at Ladbroke slimey piece of work, he'll get what's coming to him.

30 May 2022 16:30:13
Afternoon Folks, just a question regarding the ridiculous money being pumped into English Football from top to bottom in comparison to the meagre pittance given to us, should Sky be told to up the ante or get lost.

1.) 30 May 2022 17:20:12
Unfortunately we done ourselves with the servants deal and are still paying the price. Also the size of our country and the fact we are connected by land to such a massive footballing market amd also through satellite and cable. Therefore we are always going to be the lesser nationz same as Northern Ireland and wales amd Southern Ireland To Scotland.
I totally agree though with the sentiment that we are toon the p. out of in terms of financing.
Unfortunately that’s the way it is and it’s not going to change. Ever.

2.) 30 May 2022 17:30:33
What’s the alternative? Sky/ BT or nothing. They have us over a barrel really. Until the rest of Scottish football outside of Rangers and Celtic improves the product on the pitch I don’t see them drastically increasing the financial package but they need more investment to do that. Vicious circle.

3.) 30 May 2022 17:40:15
Said before, Cinch pay spurs 10m a year for their name in the sleeve! Absolute joke.

4.) 30 May 2022 17:54:36
You can only sell the product you have.
Who would honestly turn on St Johnstone v Motherwell?

5.) 31 May 2022 00:36:46
Mph, st johnstone& motherwell supportersi'dguess, lol.

21 May 2022 19:17:09
We are without doubt the fittest team in Scotland, what a performance by the boys this season, I'm a very proud Rangers Fan tonight, enjoy the party to all the Management and Players.

1.) 21 May 2022 19:54:04
Was just talking about this on way home hats off to who's in charge of fitness department the lads constantly outrun teams even after one of our most gruelling seasons.

2.) 21 May 2022 20:24:50
Bang on mate. Fitness coaches should get a lot of praise. Levels above every team in Scotland and most in Europa League.

From watching the last few months i think when our players have too much time to think about shooting it goes wide or over the bar. When they just react quickly we have more luck.

Looking forward to seeing big Souttar play as i feel if fit can be like for like on Goldson.

Only niggle i have is this walking it into the net we have seen at times. A few friends who are neutral pointed out why do we play so slow at times. I could see spells where i thought play the ball fast and Hearts are in trouble with our pace.

Overall great season and am very proud of the team and fellow fans.

Big summer i feel with ins and outs but full faith in Gio to put a good squad together to win our title back and perform in any Cup we are in.

3.) 21 May 2022 20:36:34
Not long back from hampden myself and we're the fittest team in scotland by a country mile and arguably the fittest team in britain Calvin bassey is an absolute machine of a player and deservedly got the motm award in front of a good few scouts watching him today My mates and i all said even well before extra time that bassey again was the best player on the pitch We'll do well to keep himA fantastic performance by our team in general but bassey was exceptional .

4.) 21 May 2022 20:45:10
Incredible levels of fitness. Huge well done to the team, pretty much played twice a week whole year. Bassey is a beast. Can't decide if he's better as center or full back. Immense at both. Happy days.

5.) 21 May 2022 21:06:38
sorry to say but souttar is not a patch on goldson and never will be.

6.) 21 May 2022 22:08:55
Trueblue I thought Soutter today was the best player on the park other than Bassey tbf! I think there is definitely a player there if we can keep him fit as his positional sense is an asset if kept fit. Let’s put it this way on Wednesday would you have had a CH that was a yard or so closer to goal than what big Connor was? As I think Soutter may just maybe read position better as shown today.

7.) 21 May 2022 22:12:13
Big Calvin motm but Ryan Jack what a hit son.

8.) 21 May 2022 22:21:40
I actually thought big souttar had a good game today and is a very good player if we can keep him injury free .

9.) 21 May 2022 22:38:35
Trueblue transfer window not even opened yet don't worry I'm sure he won't be our only CB signing but we been so short at the back sure he'll do a good job. Thought he was pretty impressive today tbh. Is he better than katic helander or balogun is more the question.

10.) 21 May 2022 23:54:22
Very negative. Boys not even put a shirt on. Better than Goldson today and 5 years younger.

11.) 21 may 2022 23:54:49
sotter is a very good player, that is a fact, i can assure you a fit soutter is a major asset to rangers.

12.) 22 May 2022 08:58:39
Soutar was by far Hearts best player yesterday, never been a bug fan of him but he was outstanding against his new employers .

18 May 2022 23:50:43
Like you all, I'm totally gutted, Kent should have won it for us without extra time, bad miss that was. Well done boys on getting us to that final, no time for crying though, we have a trophy to hopefully win on Saturday.

08 May 2022 19:52:25
I thought today was one of our best performances for a while, The added bonus was the display from the kids, very impressive all 5 of them. The pace and controlled movement by us was a joy to watch, 2-0 flattered them.

1.) 09 May 2022 09:03:06
Invger i take it you missed all the europa games then.

2.) 09 May 2022 13:22:07
WWST, no, I certainly didn't mate, but you will notice I said ONE of our better performance, not THE BEST, our pace and movement was very good yesterday.

03 May 2022 16:45:10
Condolences to Jimmy's family and friends, this is shock today, the loss of a legend in our club, and man of loyalty.

1.) 03 May 2022 16:53:57

John, wasn't Maxwell involved in something outside of football that saw us wanting shot of him, I may be wrong though, otherwise, he sounds a good prospect though from what you say.

Hi John, I think what you say makes sense on counts, it would allow the New manager to have contact with the Team, and be able to get them motivated for Sundays match, although no motivation should be needed, it's a Cup Semi Final. We'll just have to wait and see.

Guys, let's clear something up, we DID NOT want rid of Billy Gilmour, the lad and his Parents agreed that it was better for him to move to Chelsea for his future development in a better quality league, that's why what ingerr stated is spot on. Good luck to the kid whatever or wherever he goes, he will be World Class, not just at that level yet though.

He's a very good player, and, we're crying out for a right winger, not had one since Candy left, just my opinion.

Easytiger, you are entitled to your opinion, but temper it a bit, not once have I stated any post was 'nonsense', and, my point is relevant as it pertains to Celtic, they are only 1 of 11 teams we have to beat to be successful. I am only interested in what we do, as I'm sure are our management Team and players, that was the crux of my point.

Is Kent really that important to the progress of Rangers FC, I for one, am not convinced, he's too hot and cold, and doesn't score nearly enough goals, £10 Million+ and I think Rangers will sell.

I also like Wright as a player, what confuses me is that a lot on here don't rate him, but are willing to keep Kent who cost us £7 Million, and cost us the Europa Cup with one of the worst misses at that level. Scott Wright hasn't let us down with his effort or attitude, unlike others who appear to be flavour of the month, just my opinion guys.

I think it was John25 who stated recently that we have to be careful now as a Club, as Uefa have amended the FFP rules recently. We should be aiming for self-sufficiency, and to do that we need to have European Runs, which will require us to speculate to accumulate on the Playing side, but also to ensure we don't over spend without releasing deadwood.

I felt Davie Weir could've assisted Warburton more, his knowledge and needs of our Club were much greater than Mark's. Good luck to him at West Ham.
