Story in the press that Tillman is going to Stuttgart for £6million, so after Bayern pay us our £1.6 compensation they only make £4.4 million. I thought they weedled out of our deal because they wanted more that the agreed £5million . It doesn`t make sense to me.

Its because tillman did not want to move to Scotland. You cannot force a player to move. Good deal by the club still.

I think the biggest sticking point in this deal was that Tillman didn't want to come to Scotland permanently.

Well if he didn`t want to come to us then the deal would have been off, they wouldn`t have needed to compensate us in any way. As you all say we cannot force him to come here so why did they have to pay us anything?

Hopefully the new owners will be able to pay some players more than £15k a week . If we want to add some really good, experienced players to the current squad we will need to pay what they are worth to tempt them to this league.
The other mob have just agreed a deal of £30k a week with Tierney, they are our competition, if we are not prepared to match them then we cannot expect to compete with them .
Its all about VFM, that's what we need to get from future signings .

Its not really clear because there is no evidence that Rangers have approached any of these guys, its all just rumours dreamed up by the media and the bookies . We'll know what route we are going down when we actually appoint someone.

I'm not sure about over spending because its only a £5 million fine but I do think that forking out some decent cash is needed and would be worth the investment given the money that we would make if we qualified for the CL.
The argument that if it was only a £5million fine would be doing it already is nonsense because we don't have the money to overspend currently and we could not afford to pay a £5 million fine. Also, who exactly would be deducting points rather than issuing a fine if we did this?

I used to love football but it is decisions like these that have me sickened watching it, especially now we have VAR . That once again TWO refs can't spot the obvious is just appalling .
If we are saying that it is not cheating, then its just incompetent refs but do we just accept that? Walsh is regarded as one of our top refs, Dallas in the VAR is supposed to be the top man at that job and yet they still got it wrong.
As B. F said some of the decisions in the other games I have watched have been been so bad its unbelievable . So, when does the SFA accept there is a problem and take steps to improve it? The fact that we have not had a ref at a major international tournament for years should have been a warning sign for them that our standards are not good enough.

Peter, I agree, his last two pressers he was acting as if he knew something and it was good news for him. Also, why was he so bothered today about saying something that would get him into trouble . If he's not the manager why should he care.
He had a limited squad today but his tactics showed again why he shouldn't get the job.
If none of the glamorous foreigners want it give it to Gerrard or Dyche but please god, not Ferguson.

So we are blaming our club paying wages to our players for the lack of goal line technology in Scottish football? So are we supposed to pay for it in every ground? We already pay our share for VAR and even then Scotland has only got a watered down version because the other clubs can't afford it.
We were cheated today and not for the first time over the last two seasons. Some of the decisions this season like the League Cup penalty, the Diomande sending off and ignoring VAR and today go beyond the normal refereeing errors.
The very least that the VAR booth should be getting is the same angles as the TV companies get and they show that the ball was over the line. Personally I don't think they looked at it, I think they only looked at the offside and now they are having to cover it up just like they did last year in the OF game at Parkhead . That also involved Walsh and his pal Collum.

While I applaud these type of signings my question would be where is Camara being brought in to play. If he is a development signing how does he progress in a country that has no youth set up at his age level or are we loaning him out to Raith Rovers. Pretty sure he wouldn't have signed if we have told him that .

John Brown called Scottish football corrupt after this decision and after the couple of seasons we have just had with officials in general and Walsh in particular it is hard to argue with him.
