Vladimir Weiss will not be joining the club in the summer transfer window

The Portuguese coach has claimed that to sign Weiss, we would have to pay Al-Gharafa a transfer fee of £2.7 million.

And this came from where? I don't think personally we could pay his expected wages anyway
I read scouts are watching u-17 championship, anybody been watching.

£2.7m is not a lot. If King had any ambition for the club then he would happily pay that for Weiss out of his own picket. After all, this is the guy that promised so much to improve the team and so far has delivered so little

King has to put his money where his mouth is now or rethink his position.

Why would King invest large sums of money when he only owns around 15% of the shares? The shareholders did not support him at the last AGM. He is right not to spend his money so the other 85% can benefit from an increase in the share price.

Perhaps a resolution at the next AGM that while club needs funds, all shareholders should pay 5p per share held (approx 90,000,000 shares would raise £4.5m) as no doubt shareholders expect a dividend when times are good.

If 2.7mill is his asking price I'm sure you could get him for 2million if he really wants to go and puts up abit of a fuss and tbh prices these days a player of his standard for 2mill is not that much.

I'd love to have Vlad back but not at that price!

I don't personally think that Weiss was all that, I love the fact that he loves The Gers, but I feel we as fans slightly over rate the guy
