I posted this morning and it seems like what I said is now gathering pace. I fully expect Michael Beales appointment tomorrow evening. Knutsen was not keen to leave Bodo Glimt which tells me what I need to know about him as they are 18 points adrift in Norway and Conference League bound for another year. I don't believe the board met with Dyche at all. It is true Farioli, Seaone and also another name Walter Zenga all showed an interest to the board but Michael Beale was always the number 1 choice and the only thing that held back Gios sacking was this was not a majority decision until late on Sunday evening.

Beale hasn't won any of his last 5 games if that's the mind of appointment we are making that worries me.

IMO we need a strong character that will put a rocket up some butts and i don't see him doing that.

My understanding right now the interest in Seoane was the other way around. That we were interested in him and ended with Seoane turning us down. I’ll double check with my source tomorrow when I see them to confirm and post then.

However what I do know for certain is Beale was not number 1 choice that’s not to say he will not get the job but I know that we have definitely offered 2 others (not including Seonane) the role before offering Beale it (if we do offer Beale it) .

I heard what two names turned us down, my info dyche and Knutson

2 blue in terms of salary yes, also sure Wilson will beat qpr down if Beale is to be offered post.

Yes John that’s the 2 names. I don’t know specifics on why Dyche turned us down like I do Knutsen, if you can shine a light on that mate?

I’ve also heard that the board/ Wilson are split on options, Wilson was pushing for Hasenhutl (the ex Southampton boy) but the board weren’t sold on him so never got off the ground.

Knutsen could happen bodo's season has just ended. And because he's 15 points behind dosent mean anything as they done what we done and sacrificed the league for Europe after they had beaten celtic in the conference league.
