However (and might have to whisper this) as you will no doubt be aware, I’m guessing a number of these players may of been identified and the initial ground work started by Wilson! Beale said it himself that Wilson leaving wouldn’t affect the summers business as all targets had already been identified and being worked on.

The 2 biggest transfers of our summer will be a quality keeper, and CF. We must get both right! If we get these right, alongside a quality winger, and add in the players we believe have already agreed to join us, then it's game on.

£2m wouldn’t price Rangers out of a move. Trusty was POTY for an English Championship club. He’s a young guy, big physical lad, left-sided, fits the profile of what we need. If we want him we’ll pay £wm to get him. £2m is very little in modern football, especially in the context of English football. He's worth £2m.
