18 goals this season vs games played is not as bad a return as some think/ perceive.
Lets hope we have someone who can score more lined up then - or pushing our club forward top scorer out the door may just backfire.
Personally I think we need to add further firepower to Colaks goals and not just bin him?

Goforbig. the reason roofes mist a big chunk of games is a supposive hip injury. He's now had successful surgery on that injury. mb stated its the first time in a long time the roofe has been able to train pain free. this could be a big big season for roofe if hedoesnt pick up any other injuries.

To score as many goals as colak has with this underperforming team is impressive, especially since he had a spell out injured, with the new recruits we could see a 30 goal striker next season in colak, i'd be happy if we kept him.

Big physical

On the other hand

Not great stats
A bit old for the sales model
Misses a helluva lot chances
And comes at a fee

Think if Beale wants him really need to back him ideally someone younger.

We always played better when roofe started, I wouldn't look at MB comments about him we will still sign a ST + Inside forward/ winger type.

It's just if roofe does benefit from this surgery and stays injury free it's a massive boost for us.

This could be the experienced lad that he spoke about though. I still have my doubts and would love for us to put these reported bids in for the likes of the Utrecht Striker or similar. I keep getting the fear about this lad Yates from Blackpool coming too. Again I trust the Gaffer and will agree to anything he pulls together. Morelos was injured for a fair portion of Gios reign so of course he could't perform better and was brought back early from injury unfit and under perfoming obviously, with roofe and colak both injured under beale what option did we have but to rotate between a half fit alfie and a hot n cold sakala up front, Roofe will have a solid season once he returns now that he has finally had the op he has needed for ages, and he is the only striker we should keep from the current lot, sell colak he is worth 5.5 mill right now, we only paid 2 so cash in as he doesn't work in beale's system simple, he never will, get him out asap, and buy Tillman with the money and play him as a CF he will slaughter colaks goal record as a CF.

If it came down to a choice I would keep Colak before Roofe . Even if Roofe is a better all round striker, he is never fit so . Its not about who is better it is about who is likely to be available to give us options . Colaks record this season was decent so I see no reason to chase him out the door, especially to keep Roofe.

All 3 strikers should stay we won’t be able to sell roofe and if he stays fit he’s the best striker at the club big IF thought. Fashion can also play rw so need him at the moment and is coming on to a game. Colak is a amazing striker with a goal every 108mins and folk want rid of him ?.
