Good player twisted, would he come to sit on the bench and fight for minutes though? Stick on starter at hibs and imo their best player.

Would love this lad to sign, always impressed by him anytime we play them. Reminds me of a young Jack, but with goals to his game. Think he is much further on in his development than Jack was at the same age. So if signed could be a great signing r and international for a long time.

I’m hoping that with the Scottish boys going abroad and kicking on and getting big moves it will change our view of home grown talent.

Has the lad Max Johnstone signed for anyone yet? If not I would also go for him and then loan out Devine.

hes scottish nacho, of course he will be crap. lundstrum however, is mediocre at best. imo i would take the boy fae hibs.

Lundstrum is on probably 15 times what Campbell is on at Hibs and if everyone is fit will be warming the bench. Think about that….

The lad might not be currently as good as Lundstrum (although his stats would suggest otherwise) but Lundstrum has peaked, this lad could easily go onto be better than Lundstrum.

People run down the players in this league too often but there is some gems out there.

A couple of seasons ago people would have turned their nose up at John Souttar now when fit is probably our best CB.

Ferguson at Bologna, Hickey at Bologna (now Brentford), Doig at Verona. There is also great young Scottish lads at Liverpool, Bayern etc.

The problem we have as a club atm (hopeful it improves) is we can’t afford to spend a couple of mill on a project like Ferguson and for them to be in and out the squad. We need playersbthat cost us money to be first team ready. Hopefully that improves in the future.

Think we missed a huge chance by not moving for young Clarkson that Aberdeen signed from Liverpool. Think he will become a cracking player.

Zikos how many signings did we make last summer for money that were starters. Majority were flops or barely played, just like many before them. The current model of buying abroad isn't really working for us either so i see no issue at all with going for young scottish players.

Agree Dado, there is always a risk when buying players. But players that are already doing well in our league represent less risk.

This is the only era of our club that has not had a strong Scottish foundation. Even under Advocaat we had a Scottish nucleus and bought players from Scotland.
