Does Jose Cifuentes still play for Rangers? All the talk of was how good he was, haven’t seen much of his talked about skill? Maybe I’m being too hard on the guy? But he has to stop missing his country and do what he was bought for ( play ) . He’s a professional footballer and he has to act accordingly. When I worked abroad I never got time to settle I was getting paid to work on a computer from day one and that’s what was expected, just like him, he has a job to do. Rant over .

How do you know he’s missing his country? Also just a slight difference between working on a computer and doing what he does. Why call him out for no reason?

Seems to be the new excuse for a player that's been rank these days Carrick. Surely if you can settle and play in America you can play in Scotland? The guy is an international player who gets paid well.

100% get what you are saying mate, I too was excited at what he was able to bring to our squad. We are all yet to see this. Giving him the benefit of doubt, he has just completed a full MLS season. Hopefully we will see a sharper player after this winter break if he has recovered physically. The hype was high from many writers and fellow pro's. here's hoping he delivers soon.

In your opinion, do you think that Cifuentes has given what he was bought for at Rangers? I hope the guy becomes a star. But the hype we as supporters had to put up with when we were waiting on him has been a damp squib at best? Whether he’s working on computers or with a footballer is immaterial, I was just comparing working areas. But I certainly hope the guy proves me wrong and becomes a star for my team, because we are sadly lacking in stars at the minute.

Have always said I have my doubts about the lad, a yard slow in both feet and head. Hope he kicks on, but just another journeyman for me.

Just don't see it in cifu. Our best 3 mids are Lundstrum, Sterling and Jack. Raskin plays before cifu and raskin isn't upto much. Like most of MB signings, should be moved on asap.

Carrick, you’re attacking Cifuentes as if he was the one hyping himself up. Not his fault fans got excited. As mentioned he just finished a full season and has had injuries (probably from volume) . He has shown signs of what he can bring to the team. It’s not like we paid £6-10 million for him.

All championship winning sides require goalscoring midfielders in the sides in the spfl. Barry Ferguson, Arteta, De Boar, commons, petrov, Alan Thomson, Aribo, the guys that chip in 12 to 15 goals from midfield are the priceless players. They have Matt O'Riley doing it this season we have nobody doing it.

Cifuentes is a donkey just another one of Beale’s rubbish signings and I agree with Herbert Raskin isn’t good enough either! We have so much dead wood we’ll need a miracle to get them all out!

Raskin isn't up too much kurt ?I know it's all about opinions but common mate surely you see he's a good midfielder who's just back from injury and undoubtedly will be one of clement's first picks for a midfield slot ? He's a good midfielder who imo will only get better and better and like i said when we signed him last january, we'll eventually sell him for big money to a decent size club, in one of the bigger leagues in europe ie probably the english premier league, as that's his aim i believe, with chelsea being the club that he eventually wants to play for ?.

Raskin has a helluva lot to do to be first pick. We saw more midfield control and domination from a 2nd choice right back in midfield than we have ever saw from Raskin.

kurt i agree re sterling but can't have 2 defensive midfielders in run of the mill games. Lundstram is first pick at the moment.

i take it none of you have ever tried working in a country that isn't your home country, its not easy, for some more easier that others but it does definitely take time to adjust. if you are a senior manager then you have a good chance as people then respect you and will adjust to you, if you are a minion, then you will be expected to adjust to the local way. Believe me unless you have done it, then be assured it ain't that easy.

I thought Raskin was excellent after the winter break last season when we signed him but he started this season no where near what he is capable off. I think he will come good again now he is injury free especially under the guidance of big Phil.

Sirwalter. I assure you that Raskin will never play for a top team like Chelsea. Lundstrum Sterling Jack are all better than Raskin. Again like Cantwell, decent end of last season, absolute no shows this season. My star, how many players have you labelled as quality?
