How can Sweden and Denmark find gems from South America but we can't? Before anyone goes on about weather or poor league both above have poor weather and leagues are poor.

Herbert, as a young lad what talent pool would attract you. Scottish woman or Scandinavian woman?

2.) 18 Jan 2024 21:07:55
Those teams/ countries don't have work permits like Britain.

3.) 18 Jan 2024 23:22:04
Class ehl.

Every player linked to Rangers has 6 months leftvon their contracts. Is this the way we scout players now?

Herbert1

1.) 13 Jan 2024 11:29:01
Very good way to run our club getting players with only 6 months remaining on thier contract, well a very good business sense to me Herbert.

2.) 13 Jan 2024 11:29:19
The evolution of Gerard’s team coming to the end of its cycle.
All these players would’ve signed contracts at same time.
If Alfredo kamara aribo and the lies had still been here they’d all been same probabaly.

3.) 13 Jan 2024 11:30:53
You mean the media like us to every player out of contract.

4.) 13 Jan 2024 11:51:19
It’s the January transfer window. The club will and should be looking around Europe to see who is coming to the end of their contracts in the summer. There will be some very good players available and we didn’t do too bad last year with raskin and Cantwell. I’m sure other clubs will be aware about Lundstrum and Borna situation too. Not many clubs splash out in January.

5.) 13 Jan 2024 12:00:06
Sensible way to go Herb when we don't have barrow loads of cash - most teams have to cut cloth to suit their means these days- just need to see how bigger richer teams still sniffed around Buff Kent Borna when contracts nearing end - FFP and all that these days has major bearing on spend.

6.) 13 Jan 2024 12:29:58
Yeah cracking model to follow.

Your posts are starting to have a god awful stench Herb.

7.) 13 Jan 2024 12:33:25
Linked to rangers by who herb, you know the thing about herbs, they're usually green.

8.) 13 Jan 2024 12:46:39
Here we go I don't like this posters opinions I'm going abuse him of being a Tim.

9.) 13 Jan 2024 13:41:14
Every one of your posts is negative against rangers.

10.) 13 Jan 2024 14:10:56
No one abusing you, it a banter page, you are the one who joined knowing what site is all about, banter/ rumours.

11.) 13 Jan 2024 15:12:55
I think his typing let him down Gers58 I think he meant accuse.
Didn't actually accuse him of anything other than being totally negative towards rangers.

If yilmaz is better than Doig why doesn't Marseille go for him?

Herbert1

1.) 12 Jan 2024 20:50:53
Yeah because that’s the way it works ?.

2.) 12 Jan 2024 20:54:11
Why are Verona selling him? And getting yilmaz? Verona manager played a right winger at left back instead of Doig.

3.) 12 Jan 2024 21:12:07
Is that not a question for the Marseille management team?

Perhaps the Celtic fans on here could let us know?

4.) 12 Jan 2024 21:33:31
If Yilmaz does go to verona when he kicks on he'll end up at a better club than Marseille.

5.) 12 Jan 2024 21:34:36
Plenty of players better than both but you can't go for all of them, pick your target and try and get him.

6.) 12 jan 2024 21:51:25
because he's nowhere near as good, not difficult,

its became a joke this mate, yilmaz was a very strange signing, now gone already, but not too one of europes elite, to hellas verona, he will be gone from them in summer too,

7.) 12 Jan 2024 22:10:08
If Yilmaz does go to Italy once he kicks on he'll have many clubs interested in him.

8.) 13 Jan 2024 00:35:38
My star you keep saying this about yilmaz I just don’t see it to be honest with you and for everyone saying he was coming on to a game against who st Johnstone who didn’t attack all game and he had a good game against Kilmarnock I say sell or loan get what we can for him to injury prone as well and
For people saying takes time to settle yous couldn’t wait to get rid of Lammers who was crap as well and had to go.

9.) 13 Jan 2024 06:45:29
That's some question Herbert and could be asked about any club signing a particular player for any position ?Clubs don't all want and rate the same players my friend ?.

10.) 13 Jan 2024 06:56:50
Marseille are 2 levels up from Verona. Doig is a far better player imo.

11.) 13 Jan 2024 07:51:05
If Shankland is better than Dessers then why didn’t Rangers sign him etc etc?
What a way to look a the football transfer world!

11 Jan 2024 19:10:35
Does anyone actually know what type of injury Ryan Jack has at present?

Herbert1

1.) 11 Jan 2024 19:59:40
Persistantinjuryitis. Its been contagious since the days of Prodan and Rosenthal. Think Kemar Roofe caught it from him.

2.) 11 Jan 2024 20:19:29
Howwazthat- I've heard of this, apparently Roofe and Soutter have this injury.

3.) 11 Jan 2024 20:25:45
Ryan Jack may call time on his career due to injury. Feel sorry for the lad as when fit he was a very good player for us and loves the club.

4.) 11 Jan 2024 20:54:03
Seen him on a bike going to training in Spain. Fingers crossed he’s fit for the second half of the season.
Hugely important squad player.

5.) 11 Jan 2024 21:40:26
We need to call time on the those players that are always injured, paying the wages of a player that seldom plays is such a waste of resources. Roofe, Jack, possibly Soutar just not worth the hassle. Thank you and goodbye to them all.

6.) 11 Jan 2024 21:44:22
Great player who will make a contribution over the season.
He can’t help it if he’s injured he can only do his best and give his all when he’s fit and there’s no doubting he does that.

7.) 11 Jan 2024 21:54:11
He shouldn’t be given another deal after this season.

8.) 11 Jan 2024 21:57:53
Howwaz that why poke fun at the dead.

9.) 11 Jan 2024 21:59:39
Well said Scotty. It must be very frustrating for him, even more so than it is for us.

10.) 12 Jan 2024 02:50:41
Mrpotato head, jack is out for a few weeks he fell over the handlebars lol.

11.) 12 Jan 2024 07:32:27
John he’s hardly poking fun at the Dead.

12.) 12 Jan 2024 08:59:22
As everybody on here knows I am a big fan of Ryan and, like Scotty and Stevie, I feel heart sorry for the lad. He does indeed love the club and is a brilliant player, that can't be denied. And not on huge wages by all accounts. Must admit I really don't care for the silly wee jokes or the reference to past players who were unlucky to suffer injuries in the past. Remember if it frustrating and annoying for us, how much more is it for them. I don't know Ryan Jack's injury situation going forward but Hooe and pray he can get back ready playing for the restart. Wasn't the first name on Stevie's team sheet for a reason.

Can anyone mention one player that the lowland league has benefited on any of the B teams. It seems to have stalled a lot of careers.

Herbert1

1.) 11 Jan 2024 18:07:37
McCausland playing for the best team in the country as a regular starter.
Lowry playing for the 3rd best team in the land on loan.
There’s 2 for you Herbert?.

2.) 11 Jan 2024 18:13:33
Wouldn't necessarily say the lowland league is to blame as it's been a much longer term issue than that last couple years, I think the problem is the first team managers aren't giving the young guys the chances they need more of them should come into the fold and then either become part of the squad or moved on. Too often in the past youngsters come in have a a few runs outs do ok then vanish. We've now guys like devine Lowry king McKinnon etc they should either be used in the squad or be moved on. Mcausland has taken his opportunity and now can't go back down either makes it as first team member or will leave. The devine one is strange to me he's either good enough or he's not so why keep a 3rd choice fullback it's only hampering the development of the next young FB coming through.

3.) 11 Jan 2024 18:29:20
Herbert, by any chance do you have the same ip address as ethelbert?.

To think we gave Roofe 35k a week contract. Absolutely mental what some of our players are on.

Why would we use our January budget on Sima? Surely we wait in the summer to sign him. P. S. we ain't spending 10 million on him so he might go back.

Hopefully we can find a buyer for Soutter, Davies, Cifuentes, Cantwell, Dowell, Matondo and let a freedom of contracts leave apart from Balogun and Lundstram. There's far too much average on wages they don't deserve.

You do know we give Rabbi Matondo and Kamar Roofe massive wages to do virtually nothing? Big matches mean more pressure to succeed. I've honestly read some nonsense but this one beats them all.

Be lucky to get another 5 games from Roofe, the injuries are mainly in his head now. I read an article on the golfer Will Zalatoris the other day saying his injury was 85% mental and 15% physical. Automatically thought of Roofe when I seen it.
