the rumours and banter pages used to be vibrant, humourous and entertaining. very few new posts are appearing which suggests to me that most fans have had enough.
the club is not what it used to be, and I worry that perhaps we are all only fooling ourselves. lookin at attendancies around the country, my feeling is that scottish football is breathing its last few gasps and that time is finally running out. i'd love to be wrong, but I don't feel that I am. the vast anounts of money in the game elsewhere is like a cancer eating away at smaller nations and clubs, and surely when the bubble finally bursts there will be a hell of a mess.

Maybe, but which club would you say is to blame. Nobody talkin about football any more its all about your club causin chaos as usual. The good football fans are sick of it.

{Ed039's Note - So ALL the problems in Scottish Football are Rangers fault?? I think you are a very silly man, Rangers problems are exactly that, they are Rangers problems, they have nothing to do with other clubs ability to manage their own expectations or put backsides in their own stadiums seats)

Scottish football is coming to an end, and the only club it will benefit is Celtic, probs get that english move.

{Ed039's Note - Who wants the rules bended now?)

3.) 03 Nov 2013
Scottish football was on its knees before rangers went out of business, all other fans were sick of a 2 horse SPL, now its a no contest all together now its even worse.

4.) 03 Nov 2013
Ed I never said all the problems but when 1 o the biggest clubs get liquidated and still has financial problems then your going to be a major talkin point. And u have caused problems for other clubs, remember the fans didn't want u back in the SPl it wasn't the clubs fault the fans spoke and held their own clubs to ransom. Remember this is a sport and u just can't walk away from what your club did and think its ok then just blame everyone else. You are a very silly man if u think that all o this is ok.

{Ed039's Note - I never said it was OK and never have, but to blame Rangers and only Rangers for ALL of the problems in Scottish football is ludicrous)

Oh God what a dismal lot. OK when your down and I along with all you bears are part of it have been there. One thing we can do is look to the future. And you can create your own bright future. One thing you must realise though it will come at a cost, I have spoke with a lot of real true Blues at work with friends and family. We will reinvest when a new board come in and as time goes by our team will become stronger. I also honestly believe that if you have or will be buying shares they will increase in value. We can sit back and be grumpy and cynical or we can stand up and walk in the shadow of Symon and build a better future. Its your choice. I have made mine.

Wee Bill I don't think the game in Scotland is finished and although I am less interested in our national team after the hatred and bile and glee at Rangers demise by ALL other fans. But well done to wee Gordon the last couple of results against Croatia in particular were excellent. In terms of reduced posts by Rangers fans it may be down to the fact that as fans we are probably split 50 / 50 about our way back to the top league.
100% would want Ally McCoist to be successful and win every game with as much style and panache as possible. It is just some of us want to see some results from Murray Park. We want to see our own youngsters being produced at Murray Park and playing regularly in a young and exciting Rangers team. Some of us are alarmed that the spend for success that led us into trouble is continuing to prevail. I do not place the blame entirely with Ally here as the directors have not given him a different blueprint. WS did not bring through youngsters either and again I do not blame him as David Murray had managed to get us into so much financial trouble we simply had to win the league to get to the champions league to secure the income gap between what we RIDICULOUSLY spent and what the fans paid for at the gates and in merchandising. I know Ally is under pressure to get us back to the top league in successive seasons but what currently is the point of Murray Park or for that matter since it has been built?
If you compare us for example to Dundee United they have another two young lads being classed as Super kids plus their scouts found Gary MacKay-Stevens.
We seem to get mature guys with no sell on value.
What is going to happen to the two latest young lads Stoney and Telfer who have been banging in hat tricks for the under twenties?
Anyway we will be back and Scottish football will be back but in a small country you cannot guarantee success every year but hey look at Belgium there is always hope.

N6 we are all thinking the same as you of course people will invest again when we get new board and that's the problem not getting new board but more so getting rid of current board them easdales know they're not wanted but are sitting waiting for someone to buy them out I think they will wait and wait but I also think they won't get what they are expecting

8.) 04 Nov 2013
Got to agree with wee bill too much negativity even from the Gers men. I used to come on this site a lot but got fed up with all the doom and gloomers and Ally bashers. No positive posts even when we have been getting some excellent results and making progress the board will sort itself out. I long for the days when this site gets back to football and leaves the business and politics to the men that are in a position to do something about it

@ed what do you mean "who wants to bend the rules now" if its endgame in scotland then celtic will end up heading south. don't understand what your saying pal, honest

CIFRCA

{Ed039's Note - Apparantly the rules do not allow clubs from cross the border moving into other associations, so would it not be bending the rules to suit Celtic? Is this not what CFC fans have been moaning about regarding Rangers? Or do you only hear and see what you want to hear and see?)

10.) 05 Nov 2013
Ed. Swansea and Cardiff have just had a welsh derby in the EPL of course its possible. The English team Berwick Rangers play in Scotland.

Gretna played in England until 2002. Derry City play in ROI

{Ed001's Note - Swansea and Cardiff were playing in the BPL long before the Welsh had a proper league system. When one was set up they chose to stay in the English system, along with Wrexham and Newport County, rather than join the Welsh league set up. What happens with them is absolutely irrelevant to this. Berwick Rangers play in Scotland purely because of finances, they are closer to the Scottish teams than English ones. The Irish leagues are totally unconnected, for other political reasons, to this as well. You should even need that pointed out, because your 'points' are so blatantly irrelevant.}

11.) 06 Nov 2013
N4 we never caused other clubs problems they should not have to rely on playing rangers for there financies they should have enough money regardless of whatever league rangers play in so its not our problem other teams struggle without the blue pound
