From American billionaires/millionaire to German technical directors where will this all end. Every pundit saying we need money to keep lights on then adding the next guy in needs to have millions to spend on players, what planet are we on. This is Scottish football and we down the pecking order just now, but again I ask one thing Live within our means and it won't take long before we are back at the top of Scottish football again and sitting at the top table feasting on champion league money. First thing we have to do is accept our own failings not blame everyone else for the situation we are in, accept that then we can move forward.

Part of the problem regarding raising fans expectations of cash being splashed is ex players like Derek Johnstone.

Now I do like DJ but one week he is saying the authorities said no to Ashley raising his stake in Rangers because they fear a resurgent Rangers aided by his big spending.

A week later DJ tells us basically that Ashley should put up or shut up, spend big and not rely on youngsters.

At this moment in time I am afraid talk like that is idiocy when the fans desperately need realism.

Mullad what planet are you on???Back at the top table & feasting on champ league money!! Around £8 million just to get us thru too the end of season!You are assuming we will be promoted & we are back at the top table ( no ceartinty there). Where's the money appearing from for to aquire a squad that can compete in the SPL?As the present squad (before a few are shipped out & sold) Jig Miller Boyd will be passed it, we would be lucky to get near the top 6!!!As for Europe there's 2 chances None & F all, as with all the financial debacle, boardroom battles, police investigations litigations court cases. Even if we by a miracle win the Scottish cup we still wouldn't play in Europe due too the financial car wreck we have become!!also I think you must have 3years audited accounts, We haven't even got a credit line with any banks!Relying on crisis loans tapping this one to pay that one as for MA he' s in it for the millions in merchandise over the next few years as he ain't no rangers man he's a Businessman end of!!, & what about these hounouris or whatever there called contracts that are legally binding & watertight drawn up by Greene??He still & will be coining it in & I don't think we have seen the back of hi!
