i despair the way some bears are going on about ashleys loan offer of the £10m the the £3m will be pai back leaving £7m outstanding this will make no difference to the shareholding of the club the 3bs and king if they have sufficient shares will win the day at any e g m that's called if the 3bs win ashleys loan will be repaid its not the out come we want at the minute but the club needs the money of that there is no question but it allows everything to go on till the e g m is past there is no doubt there will be an e g m if there can be no agreement reached but the loan makes no difference to who will eventually will be majority share holders because who ever own club will have to pay it back

BIGWULL, At last I am in 100% agreement with you. Yes, not the ideal way but the key to the future is board control. Get through this season and then, with the right board, clear the rubbish and put together a business plan together to get us on an even keel and start building a team for the future.
We must forget the past and deal with things as they are.

The only thing I'm happy about regarding this loan is that I suppose it puts the question of the deeds to bed,I think.
Would Ashley lend the dough if the deeds weren't above board?I suppose what you say makes sense Bigwull when the initial anger wears off.If Park etc want control then they pay Ashley his 7 mill, they were putting up 6.5 anyway It seems?

3.) 15 Jan 2015
Not so I believe, as the fat one will want rental fees in excess of millions per season, as he will if done legitimately own ibrox and Murray park, hope I, m wrong in that score

4.) 15 Jan 2015
Totally agree we need urgent funds but why only Ashley? Plenty other offers out there with less risk to securities however board won't even look at them, Why not? The board told us Ibrox and MP would never be given as securities whilst knowing this was the plan.

I believe this is also a ploy to put pressure on SFA to allow Ashley to up his control stakes in return for him supposedly saving the club from financial meltdown.

5.) 15 Jan 2015
Billy b that's right does no matter who provides the loan its the outcome but the boycott must end because all its doing is playing into ashleys hands and besides I still think we can go up this season but everybody must get behind team and common sense should tell bears king and 3bs never spent the amount of money they have to get beat

so what happens if 3 bears king ect do not win a agm they where going put 5 million up front for a loan so it going cost a extra 2 million on top of what they wanted to offer u say the club needs money simple take 3 bears offer or should have tain saver offer the loan makes a big difference if they default on loans lock stock and barrel Ashley gets ibrox Murray park along with retail advertising ect
to get all this back off him will cost millions think folk are still sleeping when looking at this latest development we are goosed if 3 bears or king do not get enough votes at agm

Wullie, Quite simply Rangers need cash to survive and the obvious way is to use your assets as collateral. [ common business practice. ] It has been quite common for Ibrox to be used in the past and I cannot understand the mass hysteria about it. As gkk states, correctly, if this proceeds it would clarify the doubt about the title deeds.
The key to our future is board control and, in my opinion, we should back the King, Park etc. and Rangers fans groups to ensure overall control.

8.) 15 Jan 2015
@2. don't think this will put the deeds things to rest, bet even Ashley doesn't know who's name is on the deeds, wait and see, his offer will be knocked back,. gary

9.) 15 Jan 2015
If it does not matter who the loan comes from why will they not entertain anybody except fat Ashley.

10.) 15 Jan 2015
Who supplies the loan does not matter if ashley supplies loan it will be recorded at sasines then it can be searched to see if he has first charge or second charge ie if whyte has a lean on ibrox

11.) 15 Jan 2015
Bigwull
Are you crazy why take a loan when there is money out there to cover this. Saying no boycott as this would hurt rangers and rangers needs the money. Well there is money on offer and the board are still not taking it because they think they can get more money from the club and fans.

12.) 15 Jan 2015
Let's get one thing clear, IF Ashley provides the loan, he does not own Ibrox it's the assessed value that is used as security. I'll bet the Park consortium are reasonably happy that they will be able to use their funds to ensure that, with backing, they can ensure a majority shareholding.
I am also confident that Ashley is securing his merchandising deal and will now negotiate. Quite simply it is in his best interests if we are a vibrant, successful club.

13.) 15 Jan 2015
Billyb aye there are that happy they have offered the loan without security, the three bears offered the 10 million to keep the fat controller from getting his hans on it, a great move in my eyes, I think it's a case of let the fight begin, it's not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.

14.) 16 Jan 2015
George123, Have they? As far as a fight goes there will only be one winner.
