Ed, a small question for yourself, what's your take on the upcoming egm and who do you reckon will prevail and win this power struggle, I'm really worried this goes the wrong way and would love to know your opinion ed, if you don't mind me asking

{Ed039's Note - if king passes a fit and proper persons test then i believe he has enough support to push through his resolutions at EGM)

Surely even if King falls the fit & proper test he must have another name up his sleeve to nominate, its time to back him at the EGM & get the so called board out!

Jrt, A couple of days ago I felt totally confident that King had the backing of the Park group, but now I'm not so sure. Mr Park is a very respected, astute business man with strong associations with our club, but King is nothing without the Park group support and I worry that there is no gentleman's agreement between them. In fact Mr Park has said nothing in recent days, so maybe he thinks another course may be better for his group.

I would hope so too mate. Just hope he has done his homework properly and it is not a knee- jerk reaction to Ashley's power grab. Have seen other names mentioned too.

@2

I am pretty sure 3 bears group will back King, surely there has been plenty communication between them. Couple of nagging doubts still- mostly over what the rats are plotting- but definitely positive. I said before it wouldn't bother me if I never saw another game of football, but I want to see this shambles sorted out once and for all, and for there to be a club to be proud of.

I believe King and the 3 Bears are together. They can't state too much as the current board will claim they are one "unit" and with +30% shareholding must offer to buy out all shareholders at current price totally using up their available monies. It will all come down to the vote!
