i know ill be in the minority but i'm glad the board has gone with ashley, this man has serious wealth and is smarter and richer than king and the 3 bears put together. I genuinely believe he is thinking long term and wants rangers to be hugely succesful on the pitch and off. when the time is right he will flog newcastle and concentrate fully on us. why would any supporter not want a multi billionaire backing their club, so what if he makes money long term, as long as he puts some back to ensure silverware and champions league football every year every ones a winner, which he will do. the easdales are small potatos not even worth worrying about. rangers are going to be giants again and I can't wait. thank you e. pierson darlington loyal

Read your post and have to disagree with you on this one. Mike Ashley is only out for himself, if he was willing to do the right thing look at how his loans are structured. If he was doing it to help out he wouldn't have the deals structured where he gets 75% of any income generated, how is that putting money in?? If the deals were better for the club itself we wouldn't need his loans, wake up for God sake

Come on mate waken up go read the NEwcastle forums they have gone backwards under his tensure since Ashley took over on sales to purchases ration they have made a £40M profit in selling players and not replacing them. Why on earth would you think Rangers would be different?? With Ashley we will never get answers to what's gone on, We will never be told what is going on. If you want to burry your head in the sand and hope for the best your welcome to, but those with a brain who truely see the implications of Ashley owned and run Rangers know what's coming and we will fight it of rthe good of our club.

You can pull your heid out your arse an u might be able to read what people are saying. Newcastle are a selling club now. Nae ambition in prem, europe or even cups. He's no want to take us over to win the champions league, he wants sports direct on tv in europe that's all he's in it for. Newcastle make aywhere between 60-100 million in prem depending on the finish position just from being in that leauge, no other income added to that like sponsors, transfers or merchandise. Their pish so say 60-75 million, he'd mane more money sitting mid table that he would way us winning it. Their making a profit every year an he's spending F**K ALL. So he's no gonny turn us into the next chelsea or man city, the quicker people like u realise this the quicker these clowns leave.

Last time a looked most of the teams in the comp had a different sponsor on their strip. Its clear he's no in it to turn us into a good team. To get newcastle in it he'd have to spend an he's hoping to get us on cheap, or for nothing to it. Cost a lot less than getting them there. what's your take on it then? what's his plan if its no for using his billion pound buisness.

Exactly ed he wants the retail stuff, oops slight mistake he has the retail, and logo right, and will keep them until he is removed, even then they will only be taken from him if fraudulent, or he is good enough to sell us the contracts back.

No yet its no. But he's in it for himself so anything can happen. Like a said he's no gonny make us like chelsea or man city, its awe about him an making money off us. Why would he want to payout to sponsor us when he can rip us off an get it for free. Craig whyte got slated for no actually putting money into the club. Has ashley? The money he's putting up on loans is money made from strips an merchandise from greens dodgy deals. Few month ago we needed 8 million to get to may. He picked up 7.7 million and we got 590k. Playing way other peoples money like whyte. Be the same way awe his deals since 70 odd million went missing. he's lending us our own money.
