i've already suggested trying Souness in charge for 1 year with McCall under his wing to take over but for simple economy reasons I would settle for McCall, now with Juke box as his number two. King and co need to negotiate severance deals for McCoist and McDowell and put that business to bed so we can see the way ahead. It has got in the way far too much already.
Contracts NOT to be renewed in the summer would be McCulloch, Simonsen, foster, Mohsni, Black, Boyd, Miller the others out of contract I would suggest offering greatly reduced take it or leave it deals and bring on youngsters like McKay, Gallacher, Walsh, Hardie, Murdoch, Gasparotto, Faure, Hutton, Crawford, Kelly, Sinnamon, Stoney. Give them all game time and see how it goes from there, I would add one or two more experienced players like McAllister of Peterhead for example

Wee bill I totally agree with you where peterhead striker rory mcallister is concerned mate, I said on here before that rangers should have signed mcallister when we were in division 3 as the guy knew how to score goals consistently year in year out at that level, I also agree with most of the players that you state should be let go, on the manager situ I'd prefer us to bring in billy davies to be the next rangers manager

Do u honestly c all this being resolved. Sit down and think about the money involved here. Waken up. It's funny money. Who in this day and age will just throw that away. Billionaire or no billionaire. Get real.

No, martyboy, I think you are right. It is a complete and utter waste of time. We should just roll over and allow them to wreck our club. How foolish of us to stand up to the regime. Get yourself to Muck(Isle of).

Martybhoy - if our mob go out of business, it won't we too long before you go part time and eventually join us in hell. Pray that doesn't happen, believe me its not sour grapes but if the current Rangers die, Scottish football is finished. We are already almost as bad as Welsh, Irish and League of Ireland football together with other places like Luxembourg and Malta.

Oh yeah souness mo wait "Souness then returned to England to manage Southampton, but after one season he resigned, citing differences with chairman Rupert Lowe. Souness is perhaps best remembered at Southampton for signing Senegalese player Ali Dia, supposedly on the recommendation of former FIFA World Player of the Year and former Liberian striker George Weah. Souness did not check any of Dia's supposed credentials, and this subsequently proved to be a hoax, instigated by Dia's agent (who had made the initial call). When Dia played his only game in the Premier League as a substitute for Matt Le Tissier, he performed amazingly poorly, and was later substituted himself after only 20 minutes on the field" You still want Souness?

{Ed001's Note - I have sat through a Souness explanation on this one, he admits he was completely duped over the phone. I think he has learnt his lesson and would never sign a player without checking them out again.}

Hes alligned to Brian Kennedys though, can't see Souness wanting the job, one where there is no boudget. He does not have a history of bringing through youth, he is a spender like Walter he needs funds to build a team. We need to look at united and Aberdeen young team put together for less than £8M with a minimal wage bill who within a few seasons could go all the way. If it was'nt for his unwashed past I would consider McNamara who I thinks proving to be an excellent manager and shrewd operator.
