What about Clayton Donaldson from Birmingham? He's been had a good few seasons and think would do the job for us.

clayton donaldson is nowhere near good enough for rangers if this is the type of striker fans are wanting us to go for then we might as well give up on the title right now. i personally would like to see us make a move for brugge striker abdoulay diaby 25 years of age and scored 16 goals last season must admit didn't see a lot of him but what i did see i was really impressed but i guess he would command a sizeable fee. do you know much about him ed :)

3 mil for Diaby is way out of out price range, when we get a striker it will be someone out of contract or a loan.

Not what we need no? Ok tell me who and what do need? would rather have Donaldson than Vaughan both play for Birmingham and Donaldson scoring record is much better infact Vaughan doesn't even get a game. He's better than what we are being linked with.

no he is not what we need if we sign him we would have to change our style of play to suit him and we won't do that and he is not any better than who we are being linked with. i would much rather have bradshaw. clayton donaldson has been shunted about teams down south for goodness god knows how long and it has not worked out for him and the same goes for vaughan. we need an emerging talent and bradshaw fills that bracket. i could name several strikers who are value that i would love to see at the club. another being dom dwyer who i mentioned to ed a few weeks back he plays in the mls but i guess would be unwilling to return to the uk. let's just wait and see what happens but i repeat donaldson is not the answer not on this earth.
