I know we have an important game tonight against Thistle (i'd consider it important as it's potential silverware) but, The big game is really on Saturday. I have to admit, with everyone including some Gers fans thinking that we will take an absolute pounding i'm quietly confident of a result. And a result being a draw or a win. Most fans seem to forget that anything can happen on a Old Firm game, your previous games and your first XI goes all out the window in my opinion on Old Firm games. You just have to look at the Semi Final a couple of years ago, and even the one before that when we lost 2-0 with in my opinion one of the worst rangers teams in history of the club and half of Celtics team that day still playing for them or still in there starting XI today.

I'm sure there will be even more examples of surprising results on both sides of the coin from the past. And let's hope Saturday is another one.

So what everyone's thoughts for the big day?

I think celtic will come out all guns blazing and think they already have it won but I've got a feeling dorrans will be the game changer he's a diehard rangers man and this is his first old firm he will be buzzing out his tits and probably be running on purr adrenalin. If morelos scores one i'm sure he will be kicked until he reacts and from what I've saw he will bite straight away. Few red cards and a rangers win. Scott brown sent off first put a tenner on it. Here we go.

Im actually struggling to see us even getting a draw to be honest but i hope i'm wrong. as for the form book phrase i actually think that's a myth.9 times out of 10 the form team very rarely gets beat

In the words of Clubber Lang

"PAIN" **Mean look on face**

Genuinely fearful for this one, that lot are streets ahead in terms of ability, managerial skill, pace, confidence and winning mentality.

I am not having a go at the manager, it is what it is, but IF we fail to win tonight then take a thumping on Saturday then its "Tchau Pedro" - it simply has to be. People will say its too soon, only time will tell.

Depends on what team Pedro picks to be honest. Wit injuries and players off form his options are limited.

Hopefully Celtic will underestimate us and we can pull off a win.

Morelos and miller as scorers and 2-1 to Rangers

Baz the bear

I very much doubt they will under estimate us and I've got the feeling they will want to score as many as they can. Yes they are full of themselves and think they are better than they are but still too good for us

Sparky that's a cracker mate "they think they are better than they are", we know EXACTLY where we are.
We are invincible domestically and streets ahead at home, however in Europe our target last year was CL (gained), this year 3rdplace in group. You would have to be on Mars not to know this from a football point of view.
As for YOUR club last season you were "going for 55" if u believe that lol and many of you did.
Even this pre season many on here were spouting you will win the league.
You are already 5 behind and league could be over on sat so it looks to me that there is only 1 team that don't know where they are.
Can you spot the difference?

Blah blah blah Rayman. We're getting better and have it in us to really give a team a hiding. We are just not consistent enough at the moment but we have practically a new team so we just need to build a bit of a better understanding. I think we have a lot more to offer than the results have shown.

No doubt Celtic are favourites for the game, rightly so based on form and how long they have been playing together but anything can happen and if we play to our full potential then we can beat them. no doubts about that either.

Your manager boldly predicted that his team would shock PSG last week. Didn't exactly pan out that way did it? He obviously thinks your better than what you really are.

Rangers won't win this. Yes results can be strange but the task is to improve. The Result on Saturday is second to the need for Rangers to show they are heading in right direction. That means winning 6 or 7 on the bounce. let's see what happens tonight then you can make predictions about saturday. Celtic will walk the league so Rangers need to prioritise winning some silverware

AllyR : why not just do as you suggest and stick your head in the sand and hope for the best.
Otherwise know as Pedros tactics. :)

Bears understand one thing. we don't under estimate your team we simply do not fear your team. You will be shown respect but the class of celtic will win through. You should be focusing your attention on your board and asking where the loans are coming from to keep your team afloat till the new year.

Sparky is that all you got?
No manager in history has predicted his team is going to lose, if the manager doesn't believe then nobody will.
He has said time and time again the priority was CL qualification and the treble.
This is the real world and your not in it.
