Wimbledon, The Open, Grand National, The Derby. All have been CANCELLED this year, not postponed. These competitions will NOT be re-run at anytime and the history books will show that there were no winners of these competitions in these years. Remember the 1993 Grand National that never was? Due to several disastrous false starts by the starter, the race had to be declared null and void. Don't see what the problem is declaring this season's football season null and void, unless of course you are a greedy Tim.

It"s all about sporting integrity bhoywonder, nothing nore or less. Remember how you lot made a big play about this. If they can fit in the games then that's fine by me. Np way can they award on present standings when there are sufficient games to overturn any lead. And I know you won't believe me but if the roles were reversed I'd be saying the same thing. Why does declaring it null and void be sporting integrity seeker. Itâ€™s common sense if the season canâ€™t be played to a close then whoever is top and bottom will be there on merit. Blue Blue sea do you really want to start a convo about tainted titles?
My preference seeker is that this season should be played to a close even if it messes up next season.

And how does sporting integrity work for you when you want 2nd place in the league cash when you could technically finish forth?

Further to my comparisons with other sports, I get the point about tournaments that haven't started but the men's and women's ATP tennis rankings for 2020 had already started and are on hold. So do they award Djokovic the men's title of world no. 1 now? Same for golf. These no. 1 titles at the end of each year are important.
