Just had a chat with a few celtic fans who I am pals with. And they agree that the standard of Scottish football is shocking.

I asked would you stand with Rangers fans to get back to the days of quality players joining our clubs. No plastic pitches. No butcher teams.
Answer was yes. Even a few said for and against in the hearts game was shocking.

An SPFL/ SFA Who do have Scottish football at heart. If we the fans can't change this. Who can?

And don't get me started on the split. Draconian.

Most pathetic league on the planet. Regardless of who you support.

Is horse now a republican sympathiser, pass it on ? lol only kidding bud, fair points mate, but as you are aware, both sets of fans joining together, along with any other SPFL teams to have go will lead to Doncaster et al circling the wagons. They only seek to serve their own nefarious need for power/ money, the teams they are supposed to serve need to boot them out, root n stem top to bottom.

Although I agree it plays into Hampdens hands when Rangers and Celtic gunning for each others decisions rather than the real issue. There will be no hurdle over that side until they realise everyone isn’t out to get them. The referee standard is incompetence, nothing more.

For me, Celtic didn’t get horrendous decisions on Sunday. They got a pen that was never a pen, therefore a chance to take the lead they didn’t deserve. Red might seem harsh but his boots in his face, never getting that over turned. Clearly the hearts pen is a case of - let’s look at this full scenario if that’s a pen. But it’s more of a pen than Souttar was against Killie and that went quiet.

The biggest miss between the games was the tackle in Macausland. Simply due to the out of control lunge, that could, and looks like it has, done serious harm. No one was missing 6 weeks of football due to they 2 pen incidents that are getting so much noise.

I spoke with some top people from the game on Sunday, all off them said there is not a player presently in Scotland that would get regular start in epl,
Our game is seen as exceptional poor.

Even super jack John, or just outfield players?

Tried to think, nope, sounds spot on John and a sad indictment of where we think we are, to where we actually are. ?.

John I'm sure Butland would get plenty games in the EPL.

Butland
Sima
Tavernier for his free kicks alone
Yilmaz since he’s turned a corner

Teams like Sheffield Utd . Burnley, Luton even Nottingham Forrest definitely think players above and possibly one or two more when fully fit would get game time
And some still to settle in possibly diomande and Cortes down the line?

Would any of them still take Goldson? Not sure anymore.

Cletus no one. I did have a detailed discussion re Butland, Kyoto, Riley.

Interesting comment was we go on how he seldom faces shots on target. An ex. Manager said we prefer a keeper to face shots.

Stig u at the windup?

Sima - no minutes at Brighton
Tav - c'mon
Yilmaz - we wanted him thrown out of Scotland six weeks ago.

Butland and Butland alone from us, anyone else not good enough for epl.
O’Reilly from them and that’s about it.

Spot on Stingo! It’s also no surprise as the English league keeps moving in a different stratosphere. There’s prob currently very few from Sweden, Denmark, Belgium etc. but these leagues will have potential.

It’s almost a pointless statement from them, John227.

John not having a laugh mate
Just my opinion I know sima is not our player but Brighton have not had the best of results lately very hit and miss to how they had been playing they win a game lose a game in last few weeks
Think Sima on form would a game for the teams I mentioned

Sheff Utd - Luton atleast possibly Crystal Palace

Tavs stats speak for themselves his penalty conversion got to be up there with the best is it not?
I’ve seen some huge players bottle it in penalty’s Tav 99% at least puts them away
Some of his free kicks has got us out of a hole too
These teams above do t have a player like tav
And would be damned well lucky if they did

Yilmaz has turned a corner and I stated a few weeks ago to My star I’ve changed my mind I’m not liking what I see and what he brings some i'd his crosses are pretty awesome and pin point accuracy we just need a lethal striker to finish them off

I’m highly surprised you don’t think these guys would do a turn for atleast the teams I mentioned or get minutes from off the bench?

Why have epl teams not tried to buy tav stig, they could have got him for around five on a good day

Imo sima will not get a game at Brighton

Yilmaz has to do it in Europe for their to be in test from epl.

John to be honest it’s a really good question as when we play ion Europe you here pundits mention his stats all the time
Has their possibly been an approach behind closed doors and possibly Rangers or Tav have turned it down
I have genuinely thought about it on many occasions why no one we know of has came in on any level? Which possibly says we just haven’t heard about it
I mean even a championship team and any teams from the continent it’s a right weird one to be honest
And onlly that one excuse I can come up with?

Hopefully with Yilmaz Benfica will be the test he overcomes to help put them out ?.
