We can't afford to play a midfield 2 next week. We need to overload that midfield and control the tempo of the game. I would prefer to see a flat 3 with diomande, Raskin and sterling in the middle. Energy, quality and can play direct. But we all know it will be Lundstram and Diomande with Cantwell as a 10. It's tough times.

Lawrence should be in before Cantwell imo- more of direct goal threat who is not afraid to have a dig - and gut feeling is next week we need to score 1st.

Don’t think he will Blue, he was given the nod ahead of Cantwell and was poor the last game at Ibrox against them, the pace he struggled with, he might be a better option in the second half.

TL did score a great goal today but he has done nothing to suggest he starts in the majority of games he has played this season.

Although his performances are generally good ( i thought he was motm today) Lundstrum generally abandons the midfield and for large chunks of the game plays like a CB. He’s done that with Gio, MB and now PC. If they can’t change the way he plays then maybe we have to change the system to suit, and maybe play him as a sweeper and get another midfielder into the team.

We should be dominating the midfield in n most games but we rarely do and I think that’s mostly down to only having 1 man in there bs the opposition 3.

Totally agree 72 bear. The two of them should be nowhere our team. Both flatter to deceive.
