The goldson situation is annoying hopefully we can get something for him instead of nothing.

I agree Goldson could end up staying. He's taking a big risk waiting till end of season. He's getting a shock that no one actually interested in him. He's just not good enough for EPL. Think at end of January he sign and say he always wanted to stay.

I also agree John and sir Walter I have a feeling he will stay. Personally I hope he does I like the big guy and he always plays.

I am in the same camp as John, etc. I reckon that Goldson will sign a new contract with us which would be good news in my opinion. I still believe we will need to sign at least one new centre half as I don't see Katic coming back and I don't believe that Simpson is the answer. I would like Souter, but don't see him coming to sit on the bench!

U r missing one key issue his contract is up in May, so if we don’t offer him a deal he can’t stay.
however he holds the cards till window closes, then we hold the cards IMO
He is a good ch off that there is no doubt
Going forward I’d like our four ch to be goldson helander doehki Bassey. Possible cover sands
If u look at players we have watched or been reputed to watch ie h Souter j Souter Doehki Cooper hoedt, does that mean potential three at the back.

Unless goldson has worked a dirty deal there doesn't seem to be anyone interested in him.
