im not in favour of hutton coming back but after watching on thursday night i do believe we nd to bring in competition for both full back positions

Alan Hutton! I thought the days of the annual Alan Hutton rumour were long gone lol, he was pish when we sold him for £8 million way back when, he's certainly no better now. Any word on Gattuso/ Lovenkrands/ Bougherra rejoining, seeing as we are reminiscing on rumours of yore?

Isnt Whittaker a free agent surely we could beat Hibs to his signature and would provide great cover for our wing backs and I'm pretty sure he's attack minded remember that goal against Lisbon

Personally I would rather we signed up and coming youngsters or developed our own guys. Tav and Wallace are very good going forward but neither of them are good defensively. Perhaps with two quality centre backs and a midfield they will be more relaxed about their game and their defensive abilities will improve.

I liked Hutton when he was with us but that was a long time ago and from what I remember Whittaker could be a bit of a bomb scare!
