Yeah I know that this just a rumour but that's what this site is all about. Just heard from a mate at work that Stewart Mcall is being lined up to take over the helm from Ally. I know its all second hand info but his mate works in Ibrox and states that its common knowledge there that this is going to happen. don't ask me when, but hopefully sooner than later! He can work on a tight budget, he's a Rangers man and he certainly won't be asking for £800000 a year that's for sure!

You are well named I think your on the piss right now

{Ed039's Note - Agreed)

2.) 27 Jan 2014
Ally won't be going anywhere as Rangers don't have the money to sack him. So you can forget about any rumours regarding who is going to replace him.

3.) 27 Jan 2014
@2, but so many tell us Ally is Rangers, don't you think he has made enough and would go without a payout, could it be it is on the contract he never read.

4.) 27 Jan 2014
McCoist won't be going anywhere until we get a chairman and board that are investing in Rangers and restoring our reputation on and off the pitch. To this lot in charge Whyte/Green etc having Rangers legend Ally McCoist on the payroll must be very profitable based on his wages (or are we to believe no one read his contract?) because as a football manager he is not worth 10% of it. I've said for ages now that we should demand answers from McCoist on transfers, sackings, redundancies, tactics etc etc, he is repeatedly claiming to be one of us yet here we are again ST renewal time a few more board members gone, no ones got a clue what's going on, do we buy a ST just for our money to be stolen by the spivs? and where's our mate Ally? is he looking out for Rangers or keeping us informed? is he **** he is laughing all the way to the bank, how many millions has he had out so far? I fear this will be ongoing as long as McCoist remains at the club pacifying the fans and keeping the money rolling into the spivs (and his own) pockets.

there's a couple of things that pop up most days on this site, most people want Dave King to take over ( me included ) a lot of people want Ally out ( me included ) the only thing is you can't have King without McCoist, if you go all the way back to Greens first day, McCoist and King have been in touch and no doubt talk several times a week if not daily, unless King is a complete b*****d then Ally will get a chance at the top league for his loyalty.

7.) 28 Jan 2014
@6, If and I still think it is a big if King becomes top man make no mistake he is not looking to throw more money away. And if he has any doubts that with Ally in charge progress is limited then make no mistake Ally will not be there.

8.) 28 Jan 2014
@3 would you walk away from a contract for no money. Rangers is a job to ally which he enjoys but if he gets sacked I would expect him to seek compensation

9.) 28 Jan 2014
The clown signed kevin kyle, when no one else would go near him, and then the club have got to pay him to leave. absolute crap

10.) 28 Jan 2014
@ 9 Kyle got no payout plus there wasn't an abundance of talent for ally to pick from

11.) 28 Jan 2014
Ally still on 400,000 a year which is hell of a lot of money for a league 1 manager, Asking the players to take a cut is daft. it was ally who signed all these players and gave them big contracts. make ally take another 50% pay cut.

12.) 29 Jan 2014
@10. kyle gave an interview clearly stating he had been paid out for the rest of his contract. why come on and make a statement when you don't know the facts. i'm surprised to see kyle and talent in the same sentence.

@11 I agree with what you say. But what do you mean "another" pay cut for ally? Has the first cut he was so pleased to tell us about 5 months ago, buy which he strangely only managed to "sign off" a couple of weeks ago, actually been implemented yet? Wish I had as much stalling power as he does - i'm on a pay freeze that I didn't sign off but was implemented anyway. that's the way things usually work when a company really wants to start saving money. Wonder what the difference could be in ally's and wallace's case?

14.) 29 Jan 2014
@13 he agreed a wage cut months ago. The admin people and bean counters did nothing about implementing it. Maybe ally should have logged onto the rangers bank account and adjusted his pay and all the PAYE nonsense that it would involve. Whilst sticking a broom up his bum and sweeping up.

15.) 29 Jan 2014
@ 10 He picked Kyle over Craig Beattie who is a far better player so your answer doesn't hold water. Both had legs made of china and more often out injured that fit but Beattie was easily superior to the one Ally opted for.

@14 don't be silly. You seem to suggesting that some "admin people" have overlooked a pay agreement resulting in the club unnecessarily paying out hundreds of thousands of pounds extra to mccoist over the past 5 months or so? Just a couple of major problems with that hypothesis. 1. If it was, as you say, actually "agreed" by mccoist at that time, then he has simply been overpaid above what he has been entitled to under that agreement, so why doesn't the club simply take the overpayment back off him? that's what usually happens when people are erroneously paid too much by their employer. 2. Why was it announced a couple of weeks back that the agreement had just been "signed off" and admitted it hadnt yet been implemented? Get the image of your darling ally with a brush up his backside out yr mind and go figure.

17.) 29 Jan 2014
Ally mccoist signed a contract that paid him 800 grand a year maybe we agree it was to much but he never needed to take pay cut people should remember that and if he is still manager when we reach the top league his wages go back to 800 grand

@17 I wonder if you would feel so loyal to the man if you or a member of your family were facing redundancy because of his stupidly fat salary. By the way, he is still on 800 grand last I heard, you heard any different? When exactly is the mythical "cut" going to kick in, funny how that detail has been missing from all press releases on the subject. As has whether this is genuinely a cut or just an agreement to defer full payment until a later date. When admin 2 is looming these are genuinely important questions that people should be demanding answers to.

N18 pauline ime not showing loyalty to anybody in my post ime just stateing a fact he could have said ime not taking a pay cut and there is nowt that could have been about it
