Looking ahead to the Old Firm match, can anyone share any particular funny or unusual memories from past Old Firm games, one I'll always remember is the 1990 match which we won 3-0 and Walters took a penalty, Bonner got a hand to it and the Celtic end all celebrated, only to sit back down when the ball spun upwards into the net, hilarious.

My first OF game.
1970 League Cup Final, 16 year old Derek Johnstone scored the winner, the first time we had beaten them in ages.

Many of us will remember wee Bud taking the ball wide and sitting on it waiting for their defence to catch up with him. Many will remember that. We hammered them 1-0.

I love the build up to any old firm game, the nerves the excitement the anticipation, i honestly don't think there's any other game in world football that can match it for passion alone, i know there is a few Celtic fans saying that it's not the old firm anymore (yawn) but i'd bet my house on saying that 99.9per cent of them are just as excited about this game coming up as we are. It's also the greatest feeling in the world when we win one, my favourite memory was when we beat them 3.0 at parkhead to win the league, although I wasn't at that game, it was one of the best nights of my life celebrating well in to the night with fellow bears.

Was that game not 3-2? As for Hurlock he put in an incredible performance in that game totally outstanding and I remember at one point 4 Celtic players tried to take the ball of him and he just piled through them.

As for my favourite memory has to be the 3-0 game when we won the league. Not only did we hammer them but they really suffered. Can still remember the look on their faces as each goal went in.

Biffo - Yes, I think you're correct. My excuse for that error is that I don't remember any goals Celtic have scored against us. That being the case, we've never lost against them in my book.

I was in the East Enclosure for that one and was so disturbed at 0-2 that I thought about leaving. Instead, I sat down on the terrace (there was space because plenty had gone) and listened to what was happening whilst covering my eyes. I remember trying to watch the game through the TV camera lense which was above me. Thankfully I stayed but missed McCoist's first (because my eyes were shut) but not Gough's! I agree, the noise was incredible and I think it was the first time I'd heard such sound distortion when a goal was scored on Scotsport.

The next nearest to that noise was when Souness scored to make it 2-0 via Aberdeen in his first - I think - season. Fleck got the first and Leighton ran all the way up to the half-way line because he thought it was offside. Which it probably was.

Happy Days!
