I've been trying to put a positive slant on the season so far. Here is our record for all league and League Cup matches played so far:

P17 W10 D4 L3 F32 A13

A win ratio rate of 59%. Only 3 defeats in 17 games isn't disastrous and those were to Celtic (twice) and Aberdeen - the last named we should have won. Draws against Hamilton, Kilmarnock, Ross County and St. Johnstone cost us 8 points.

I think we will finish second but Warburton now needs to field a settled team and find out why on earth so many of his new signings are injured!

The difficult thing for us, is that we are Rangers. We aren't Hearts, Aberdeen or even St Johnstone. Teams have a different mentality playing us. they might set up the same way for us and Aberdeen but they have more determination against us naturally as we are the bigger name, I remember Ferguson said it once (Purely to wind up Keegan) Newcastle aren't a big team or a big name, Manchester United ARE, Teams come and play us and step it up a notch to get even a draw, when they play Newcastle it just isn't the same sort of game. That's the difficult thing for us, we are in my opinion the 2nd best team in Scotland, however we have the massive issue that teams will try that extra bit more against us.

doiger great post mate, your putting things into perspective there, but your looking for a steedy starting 11, which has been Warburton's downfall so far, am with you there mate, steedy starting 11, and hopefully injury free, stick to the same team and give them boys a run of 8 to 10 games, and i'd bet we'll turn this around for the better.

onlyshow that's been that way for years and as most managers would say I don't care how they set up against everyone else they should still be coming here and get sent home with 0 points.
for years rangers had the fear of these teams but now rthese teams believe they will get something against us and we need to go on a run of big wins to get that back.

I believe that we will click up front and that will happen I honestly do but we need less of these idiots shouting for the managers head.
its fans like that, that do more damage to their own club than they realise as it puts doubts in players heads and that affects perfomances.

we all need to get behind the team the way rangers fans should.

That's right Onlyshow, teams don't put in the grit and determination against other teams like they do against us, even when they play Celtic other teams don't show the same level of of desire to win.

DIfference is James, is that we had class players for years, we no longer do, for the next season or 2 we need to realise that we won't win every game, and will definitely draw and lose quite a few games in a season.

100% onlyshow, we're not as good as years gone by but everyone still sees us as a massive scalp so the other teams play as if its a cup final but our players need to grasp that and quickly, this isn't Accrington, Preston, Wigan, Burnley there playing for now. Sometimes i don't even know if Warbs fully understands the sheer size of what he's got himself in for going by some of his pressers or he's just trying to take the heat off the players by being cute.
