Source has told me Knutsen has knocked us back, he wants to stay at Bodo. So that’s 1 out the picture.

Good info Iheard.

John said Dyche is out as well. Not hugely surprised about Dyche saying no but Knutsen is a bit of a surprise. Reading more and more about Seoane he’s the man for me.

David. Imo Knutson on in frame as he beat them, go and actually analyse his record, many would be screaming for his he’d by May.

Seaone for me is a very interesting name.

Looks like it's beale and the deal is done.

He’s only ever managed in Nordic leagues anyway and mostly lower leagues. He knows he haw about Scottish football. Bodo just finished 18 points behind Molde. A few good results in the conference league but other then that what’s he done? He manages a team with a stadium capacity of 6000. Doubt he would handle the pressure here. 86 goals scored this season and 41 conceded. Not for me.

Probably right John yeah. I did look at the league table and only one season they had a very good record the rest weren’t that high scoring points wise. Still impressive to take them from where they were to where they are. Seaone pumped them 4-0 albeit with Leverkusen. Believe he’s a very forward thinking manager and plays almost with a front 7 leaving a holding mid and 2 cbs defending the counter. The way it should be domestically in my opinion. Pin them back and don’t let them out.

Monty what has he done? He took a team that’s relegation fodder in Norway with a small budget and delivered a 2nd place finish, 2 league titles then another 2nd place finish in 4 years. All while having to replace their best players every year for peanuts??.

This point isn’t from my source but purely my opinion that we have offered Seoane the job and he’s knocked it back also. But like I said there’s genuinely no inside info on that one.

Monty he took a team of minnows from the Artic circle to 2nd place then won the league the following year then finished 2nd again this season. He also beat Celtic convincingly home and away and won the manager of the year on 3 consecutive seasons. I would say he has done pretty good considering they are a small team in comparison to the big boys in Norway and has them punching well above their weight. I would rather him as our next manager over Beale.

Diddy league titles is enough for you? Well not for me. We need someone who knows what Glasgow rangers are all about… WINNING!

I think you will find Monty that it is us that actually play in a wee diddy league.

I would be surprised if we don’t elect to go for a manager currently not working, because there are a few very good options, and it does seem that money is tight. Getting more from the current squad is a given, as is a careful and prudent re-aligning of the squad.
Appreciate the clamour for Beale and UK managers (or those who’ve managed in UK), but first and foremost I’d like to see a proven winner get the job. By which I mean title/ cup winner….

Monty are you a parody? ???.

I know we can't read too much into odds but Beale is now 1/ 6 with Dyche next closest at 8/ 1. Farioli has apparently expressed an interest in the role but it looks like Beale will be the man in charge.

???Monty we play in a diddy league too.

Our diddy league is still ranked 8 leagues above there’s… we are a big fish in a small pond, too big a fish for knutsen. No one’s took a punt on him for a reason.

17.) 22 Nov 2022
22 Nov 2022 17:27:19
Not wanting Beale. Probably not popular in that but we need a new management team with fresh ideas and a new leader on the field. Beale and co had the chance and left.

Scotland is a diddy league.

Seoane hasn't got a club then?

20.) 22 Nov 2022
22 Nov 2022 17:48:13
Yes but Bodo weren’t a big fish until Knutsen took over. It’s probably the equivalent of a manager taking over a Ross County and coming 2nd in his first season, winning the league the next 2 and finished 2nd his fourth season??

I’m not even saying Knutsen would be a nailed on success at us. It would be a risk just like any manager is but to not acknowledge what he has done at Bodo is unreal is a insult on him as a manager.

Knutsen Wouldn’t survive here . his record is one win in three I think …
This site for one couldn’t handle that.

22 Nov 2022 20:35:21
Some of the opinions on here man ?. Seoane took charge of a club that had just won their league by nearly 20 points then got a big move to Leverkusen had a good season then got punted. Knutsen took over a newly promoted team and turned them into a challenging team in 2 seasons on a tiny budget. Knutsen all day for me. They were also the best defensively in their league last 2 seasons. You're all entitled to your opinions though just try to make it an informed one and not one that echoes other posters with no basis, this shouldn't be an echo chamber.

Told this morning that Dyche reckons that there will be a job coming up soon in the North West of England and that he wants it. Wages and transfer budget apparently wouldn't be ask issue other than the UEFA Fair Play Rules.
Comments came from a friend in the Liverpool Area with good contacts at both the major Liverpool Clubs.
