Looks like Lundstram will be away in the summer rumours that negotiations with him and the club have stalled.

Tbh, I don't want our wage structure broken. we need to reduce our wage bill.

2.) 25 Mar 2024
25 Mar 2024 19:39:12
That's bad news.

3.) 25 Mar 2024
25 Mar 2024 19:43:40
When goldson is earning circa 17k a week more can you blame him if its true that he wants more ££?
Itll cost us a lot more to replace JL that's for sure.

4.) 25 Mar 2024
25 Mar 2024 20:06:03
Thank goodness he’s away.

5.) 25 Mar 2024
25 Mar 2024 20:26:25
Like most of us on here i want big john lundstram to stay but if he decides he wants to move on and what we're offering is not for him, then so be it ?We move on and i'm sure clement will have a younger alternative lined up ? Undoubtedly, we'll be able to replace john lundstram ? Dujon Sterling is already here remember ?.

6.) 25 Mar 2024
25 Mar 2024 21:28:33
"Thank goodness he's away"?! Eh?! Nah, that's a ridiculous thing to post!

7.) 25 Mar 2024
25 Mar 2024 21:43:51
Like him to stay tbh, seems to want to be here, but apart from possible wage disparity is there anything we are not privy to?

8.) 25 Mar 2024
25 Mar 2024 21:44:00
Yeah thank goodness our potential player of the year is away, couldn't stomach another game of him being best player on the park.
Would love jl to stay, but wouldn't grudge the guy one big final pay day, as it could be his last tbf.

9.) 25 Mar 2024
25 Mar 2024 22:36:08
He's been much better under Clement, but if the offer is not accepted then we move on and replace him with ideally a more attack minded midfielder.

10.) 25 Mar 2024
25 Mar 2024 23:20:49
Give him the extra year he’s after.

11.) 26 Mar 2024
26 Mar 2024 04:41:03
Allegedly it's the length of contract that's stalling lundstram signing the deal to remain with rangers ?Lunny wants a 3 year contract and rangers seemingly are offering him a new 2 year contract, thus the sticking point ?.

12.) 26 Mar 2024
26 Mar 2024 05:17:36
Cheers SWS?.

13.) 26 Mar 2024
26 Mar 2024 06:56:20
Sad if its true but power should be with the club and not player power as is too often seen in todays football also our wage structure should not be broken - he will be missed but he is not irreplaceable as his form vastly improved under Clement so just shows he and lots of others were not playing to their full potential all of the time for previous regime - hope he plays hard till end of season and leaves on a high! Am sure Clement and his team are not resting on their laurels and replacements for each position in team are being assessed continually - its the only way forward?.

14.) 26 Mar 2024
26 Mar 2024 08:46:10
Like Lunny, but I've constantly heard he ups his game as contract running out, suppose that's normal but I'd have liked to see him perform more like he has in last few months over his whole tenure, got a feeling well come to a deal as PC likes him, maybe meet in the middle, TBF it is his last big contract.

15.) 26 Mar 2024
26 Mar 2024 09:00:49
Big issue over signing on fee. I’m told it’s a two year deal with option on third year based on appearances, he wants straight three years.

16.) 26 Mar 2024
26 Mar 2024 09:10:38
That’s what I was told John, been like that for a while, the broken down talks is garbage tho as far as I know but it an easy story to fling out when there is no stories in international break.

17.) 26 Mar 2024
26 Mar 2024 10:29:08
Loose one Lundstram easy to replace.

18.) 26 Mar 2024
26 Mar 2024 10:30:51
Correct coopers. I think he will stay.

19.) 26 Mar 2024
26 Mar 2024 10:42:20
Before big Phil took charge there wouldn't have been many supporters in favour of the club offering him a new contract. Fair enough John has been good under Phil but I'm not that fussed if he doesn't sign as he has had more bad than good performances and my signonometer says NO so sorry John thanks for your services and in my signonometer i trust ?.

20.) 26 Mar 2024
26 Mar 2024 13:02:36
Keep luny sell goldson.

21.) 26 Mar 2024
26 Mar 2024 15:14:43
Three Cheers I think we can blame Michael Beale for that, he created a horrible atmosphere within the camp.

22.) 26 Mar 2024
26 Mar 2024 17:55:23
Goldson on £37k I would offer around the same wages as Butland no more than £30k.

23.) 26 Mar 2024
26 Mar 2024 18:16:11
I, like most on here want lunny to stay and I'm sure he will. Its ultimately his choice does he want money or does he want to be competing for trophies on a regular basis and getting a turn at European football. Yes go down south to a mid table team and spend your Saturdays chasing the ball around pitch hardly getting a touch and getting occasionally leathered by the quality of the top 4 down there. Or he could stay with us which speaks for itself, depends how much money is deemed enough and ultimately that's what happens in negotiations in any business it comes down to both party's to meet somewhere in the middle, he must stay IMO!

24.) 26 Mar 2024
26 Mar 2024 21:53:53
I’m confident Lunny will stay, his family are very settled here and he loves life at our club and in the city. What would it cost us to replace him? He’s the heart beat in the engine room.

25.) 27 Mar 2024
27 Mar 2024 00:33:05
Lundstram previously said on a podcast he wants to finish here.

He won't leave. Nor should he. Outfield player of the season for us this season.

Wanting him gone is a ridiculous take.

26.) 27 Mar 2024
27 Mar 2024 03:34:29
Lundstrum was a ghost for most of his contract. if he was performing like this the whole time i'd be inclined to give him the offer and pay bump but he's only really played like this in the last year and on his wages we can probably find someone who's playing at the same level on far less or use players we already have like Sterling, Yfeko or Rice.

27.) 27 Mar 2024
27 Mar 2024 03:52:01
I’m told from a reliable source this will all be sorted. Lunny wants to stay and Clement think’s he’s key to his team. 2 year deal with option of 3rd triggered automatically by playing 50% of games in first two seasons and if not club option. Wages around 28k p/ w.

28.) 27 Mar 2024
27 Mar 2024 10:11:13
Good info, AC, the 28 includes signing on fee.

29.) 27 Mar 2024
27 Mar 2024 10:54:02
As far as i’m aware John that’s including signing on fee.

30.) 27 Mar 2024
27 Mar 2024 12:02:58
I’m told that’s a definite. AC.

31.) 27 Mar 2024
27 Mar 2024 16:33:39
Don’t know if form is all about just playing for a contract, think the manager has a lot to do with it, the mutual respect between the two could see the captains armband if tav ever leaves go to Lunny.

32.) 27 Mar 2024
27 Mar 2024 21:15:06
Lunny was injured for most of last season and put the club before himself by putting himself up for a jersey when many others wouldn’t. No coincidence that he’s been playing injury free this year and the gaffer has taken the handbrake and safety away from him. He’s a must for next season in the gaffers eyes.

28 Mar 2024 01:39:41
Spot on MCC, never been Goldson fan, and if info true, can't believe we're paying him the money reported, IMO he's gash and very replaceable.

28 Mar 2024 07:25:26
I got it stinking on here a few weeks back for saying Goldson was on the wane MBW, tbh I still think he is.
